When I want to impress a client with something other than Texas BBQ or Mexican food Bellaigo is where I take them for lunch. The food is excellent and always carefully prepared. Appetizers are a must here and the bruschetta and calamari is amazing. The food portions for lunch are a bit small but if anything that leaves plenty of room for dessert. I love the gnocchi for my main course and sometimes I feel like asking for seconds due to the size but it never lacks in flavor. The desserts are also excellent and well worth saving room for. Its a great quite place for lunch with excellent service and food, who could ask for more?

good find, this place is tricky to find, unless you’re a local and know it’s there(which i’m not — it was recommended by a co-worker on a recent trip) — the food is quite good, every dish was tastefully presented and had lots of flavor. The atmosphere was condusive to having a relaxing conversation as well — overall, a good place for a bus lunch or a quiet dinner for two.

This establishment has been around for a long time, but still many austinites are unaware that it exists. A couple of years ago they got a new Executive Chef, Ryan Bouillet, and since then the place has steadily improved. The ambiance is kind of romantic fine dining, and the location is kind of out of the way if you are used to going downtown for dinner. But please don’t let this disuade you from eating here on the regular. In just a word the food is «FABULOUS». I mean really really the bomb! Order anything on the menu or off of the specials and you will not be disappointed. Some of my personal favs are the pork milanese, the duck, the pasta bolognese, any of their fish dishes, and almost all of the appetizers. Perfect for dates, events, celebrations, or just a bowl of pasta on a Wednesday night. Delicioso Ciao!

The calamari here is better than most Italian restaurants in Austin. Their lobster ravioli is to die for. I don’t necessarily think everything they have is the best, but all of my experiences there have been nice, thus far. The staff has been friendly, the atmosphere is romantic, and the tuxedo cake is delicious!

It’s so conservative inside. Candles, white table cloth… I hated every dish I ordered. First I had Pasta Abruzzese. It tastes like some boiled noodles without any salt. Later I switched to Tortellini Piselli. It still tastes so boring. Maybe because I just ordered wrong dishes. I paid bill and left without eating anything.

Solidly enjoyable Italian food at a decent price. Despite being tucked away in a small strip mall sort of shopping center, Bellagio is really a rather pleasant place at which to dine. I liked sitting on the patio, which is decorated with white lights. Their soup is good, and their puttanesca is hearty and well, *really* amazing. The wait staff is friendly and helpful, and was very kind about returning some soup I had ordered before I knew it used chicken broth. I always enjoyed my dining experience there, but since I lived so close, I often ordered take-out — which was always ready VERY fast.

I had the luxury of eating at Bellagio just last night — and had a wonderful time. The staff that works there are all about service and making you feel welcome, the food is all about making you feel decadent and stuffed, and the bill was all about making me feel like I made a wise choice. The dish I had(Vognole Alfredo) was fantastic. The Calamari here is touted as the best in Austin and I buy it. It really is fantastic. The mussels we had in addition were also great. They’ve got monthly food/wine pairing nights where its prix fixe and you simply sit back and enjoy. While I haven’t done one myself YET I’m sure I will in the near future. Enjoy!
