Bellaire Heating & Cooling

I have now used Bellaire Heating & Cooling 2 times with excellent service at a great price. I had a crack in the drip pan that could not be repaired and a different company said we would have to replace the set-​up in the attic for over $ 1500. Chase was able to re-​route and repair the existing unit for $ 175. It took him 2 trips, as he had to go buy supplies, and most companies would charge that just to come out 2 times. The second time he came out, a different AC unit stopped cooling. He replaced the capacitor and charged it with refrigerant for ¹⁄₃ of the price the other company charge to replace a capacitor alone. To summarize, Chase Bell is honest, reliable, inexpensive, and good. He was also referred to me by Mr. Cool, as Mr. Cool did not come out to the Four Points area at the time.

Bellaire Heating & Cooling saved me at least ¾ of the cost on the repair of my heat pump last summer. The day after one of the big local HVAC companies replaced a switch on my 10-​year old heat pump, it began leaking coolant. They wanted $ 1600 to replace a coil whose failure was just too coincidental with their previous repair for me to overlook.
Looking around for a new HVAC contractor, I came upon Chase Bell, owner of Bellaire Heating & Cooling. Chase was recommended by Brian of Mr. Cool HVAC (a «Best of Unilocal» firm), who was unable to come out that day. Rather than replacing the coil on this late middle aged unit, Chase pulled out his torch and skillfully repaired the leak for ¼ the cost of replacement. Six months later and the unit is still running like a top.
Bellaire came when they said they would come, did what they said they would do, cleaned up after themselves, and saved me a big pile of money. That’s service worthy of five stars any day.
