Blushed By Eden

Eden did my makeup for my wedding day, and it was absolutely perfect, from start to finish!
First off, when looking for makeup artists for my wedding, it was absolutely CRUCIAL for me that I find one who’s well-​versed in working with Asian-​American clients. Not to overly generalize here, but often times us Asian-​Americans have different eye shapes, skin colors and skin moisture levels than the norm, so our makeup needs are different. Eden studied makeup and beauty in South Korea (in addition to being an Asian woman herself, of course), which made her perfect for my needs.
From the start, Eden was very responsive, sweet and attentive when I booked her services via email. Then, during my trial, not only did she make me feel very comfortable and explain to me what she was doing, but she requested feedback at the end and I was able to tell her my preferences without feeling like I was going to rub her the wrong way.
And then, the big day arrived! My ceremony was at 8:30 am, so I asked Eden to arrive and start around 6 am. She actually showed up a little over 10 minutes EARLY, despite the absolutely ridiculous call time. She did my makeup beautifully (even more beautifully than the trial, which was already so impressive and made me feel so gorgeous), and she did my mother’s makeup too, and for free!
The makeup lasted the entire ceremony and reception, and looked amazing even in the hot, 12 noon sun outdoors for our 30 minute after-​the-​wedding photoshoot. I can’t rave about Eden enough. I’ll be recommending her to all of my friends, Asian or not, for any of their makeup needs!
