Dennis seemed like a good accountant at first, and was working with me to help on my books. Do not be fooled by him, though. First and foremost, we have found several(and I mean several!) errors in the accounting. He helped me set up a system to account for all of our clients, but skipped many, many steps. He seemed to know what he was doing, but I keep finding new errors that he recorded. Mainly, though, I am upset with how unprofessional he is. We paid him about $ 2,000 to set up our quickbooks, and yet he on several occassions cancelled last minute or just didn’t show up. Finally, we had to let him go because we needed someone who is more reliable(I had to change around several client meetings to organize around his schedule, and then at the last minute he would either reschedule or not show up). A few months after we fired him, we received an email from him written to our tax accountant about how we have an outstanding invoice(our tax accountant emailed him to get some old quickbook files). We have paid all of the invoices, but even if we didn’t he should have emailed US to let us know about an outstanding invoice rather than someone that we have continued to work with. I would think twice before working with Dennis.
