Traveller Denim

Though it took some research on my own to track down the owner, I did and he readily refunded my entire purchase. He mentioned at the time (5 days after my initial request to communicate with him) that it was the first he had heard of my situation and was very apologetic.
While I appreciate staffing concerns, if basic customer service and even a mild interest in serving customers were present when he was not directly involved, I’m sure this business would do even better. The «hipster-I-don’t-care» attitude doesn’t really play as well in a business as it does in a bar.

I feel I should weigh in here, because my fiancée and I had a great experience despite our different body types.
The dude is really tall, so his jeans are always too short. Traveller sorted him out. I’ve been running and doing yoga most of my adult life, so I have bigger legs and a big round booty. Traveller sorted me out as well.
Neither one of us would ever sport a ‘curly mustache, or a bowler hat,’ but did not receive subpar service because we lacked certain hipster cred.
I have gone to the shop a few times when they’ve been closed during business hours. Keep in mind this is a company of about 5 – 6 people, sometimes that just isn’t enough to go around. They go to events and trade shows in and out of town, and sometimes, being human and all (gasp!) they get sick!
We called last week actually to see if we could get a friend of ours in for a custom fitting, but Rosalie let us know they are currently on a waiting list, and would give our buddy a call when they could start making full customs again.
I suggest you get yourself on it (it’s still under 10 people) and know you’ll soon own your favorite jeans of all time. The coolest thing is you can watch her hem them right in front of you, using a machine from WWII. They’ll even fix jeans that aren’t made by them! I thought my favorite old Levi’s had finally bit the dust, but Traveller patched/​darned them all up for me. Great jeans, great service, nuff said.
