Budget Inn

–0 star Bubget inn is the worse please I ever been, i was fear for my safe its like a nightmare, they lie about price, when you walk in is Double the price if you want cancel after you see the worse of the worse they dnt want return your $$ no WiFi no cable, check out at 10:30am. In a few words it is worse than a 3^th. World hotel.

Please keep in mind, before writing this article my boyfriend and I have been sleeping in a Saab 900 for the last month; we have pretty low standards when it comes to sleeping arrangements.
–I would totally recommend this place if you’re planning on hiring a hooker
–WIFI signal, if it exists, is too weak to reach any of the rooms
–The floors are nothing but tile; be careful getting out of the shower or walking near a leaking air conditioner so you don’t slip on your ass
–If you approve of pregnant women smoking, you’re in luck ~ the staff has plenty of them
After driving about 12 hours from Albuquerque, NM, my boyfriend and I finally arrived in Austin at about 5 am. I was down to sleep pretty much anywhere that had AC, so we chose the Budget Inn because we saw it had decent reviews and we figured its location/​price was convenient at the time. It took us about 20 minutes to get into our room, literally, the door would not open; when the room key ceased to fail, the door just couldn’t be kicked in.
I was so tired from the drive that when I woke up at 10:30 (you have to be out of the rooms by 11) my boyfriend nicely decided to pay for an extra night so we could continue to sleep. 30 minutes after having paid for another night, room service violently knocked on the door while I was half asleep — and half naked — and eventually walked in thus waking me up for the day. I was pretty pissed off at this point and wanted to leave, so while my boyfriend tried to get a refund I went outside to smoke a cigarette on the steps that lead to the upper floor rooms. A cleaning lady then started sweeping dirty water onto my head from above; I was absolutely fed up.
The lady at the front desk refused to get ahold of the manager, claiming that she had no idea how to get in contact with him.
Long story short, it took us all day to get the refund. I’m sure our experience is probably pretty unique however, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone unless you were trying to film a documentary about how bad inns can be.

This place said ‘FREE WIFI’ they have no Wi-​Fi in the rooms… they then lied & said that the internet was down. When I asked them about it the next day they said it was up… then missing tooth lady told me to bring my laptop to the lobby… where I saw the signal come on… & even there the signal was only 2 BARS!!! Then she told me I could sit in the office (which was 335 yards from my room) & use the internet there… so then I bring my laptop, HDD, cords, & headphones, only to find the username she told me to login under had a password (which she told me it didn’t) then she asked me to show her & prove it to her (as if she didn’t know) & of course she didn’t know the password, didn’t care to call anyone who could give her the password, etc. Just more lies after that… never trust a person with missing teeth.
