Nice store, nice owner, shop is small but it is one of a few around that has the wine I love (Mogen David) the workers are always nice and even offer great deals when you are in there browsing.

In a pinch this place will do, but there are certainly better stores around. I have been here several times, and I haven’t been that impressed. The beer selection is minimal and the wine seemed overpriced.

Kind of small store, nice selection, decent prices, and friendly staff. Shopping center is pretty run down though, but hey if lower rent helps Buttercup keep their prices low who cares!

Not much to be said, but it’s a clean place, inexpensive, close to Casa Shoehead, and a OK variety of liquor. The lady behind the counter was very nice, too.

Apparently going against the grain here, but I need to add my couple of cents.
I’ve never had an issue with this place, as a matter of fact I adore the couple who run it. They are super friendly and not hard pressed to give suggestions as to what you are looking for but can’t quite put your finger on.
If you ask them, they are more than happy to special order something you would like.
Aside from the couple, I’ve only dealt with another employee and he was accommodating as well.
Pros:
Sweet folks, fair prices.
Super friendly and willing to order special things if you request them.
Also in the HEB parking lot so you can kill 2 birds with one stone if you need to do some grocery shopping as well.
