Let me tell you about this Cubana… the first bite made me do a double take and me question myself, why didn’t I take a bigger bite?

Great sandwiches! Had the Miami, it was on point but what surprised me was the potatoe salad! Cheese based in think and super delicious.

This is what a food truck is all about — good food, good price and very tasty. I LOVE cubano sandwiches and this place does it right. Go if you get a chance!

Ybor’s food truck comes to our office every few weeks. The sandwiches are awesome — end of story. the Miami is my favorite, but I’ve tried all of them and they are all excellent… the bread is what makes them so awesome IMO, so soft and well toasted all at the same time! The service is friendly, fast and they are well priced at between $ 7-$ 9 including tax.

Been loving the Cuban Sandwiches that the Café Ybor Food Bus has been making around town. They’ve got a Twitter feed so you can find their location. They generally are in two different spots daily. Would love it if they would occasionally have the lemon cake that is so amazing. Check it out if you can.

I tried them today for the first time. I got the Ybor sandwich and it was excellent. It was a large sandwich with a lot of meat for only $ 7 and that included a small side of potato salad. The two guys working the truck were very nice. I will definitely eat there again.

Best cuban sandwiches in Austin. Food is always fresh and the couple that runs it is very friendly! Austin is full of great food trucks, but this is extremely close to the top of the list.

These guys are in a bright yellow food truck that I’ve unwittingly walked past many times. I’m glad I finally tried it as their Cuban style sandwiches are amazing. Friendly staff, great value, amazing food, awesome sides. Super!

I was visiting Austin from California and decided to eat at Chi’lantro for quesadilla’s(amazing with the chicken!). As were eating the owner of the Café Ybor truck came over and explained they were new to the area & brought us all a massive slice of chocolate cake for free. I’m bummed that was my last night there and didn’t get a chance to try their actual meals, but they seem super awesome and their cake was delicious so the least I can do is give them 5 stars on Unilocal!Hope to visit once I get back to Texas.

Saw the truck when I was already picking up to go food so marked it for the following day. Got the Cuban which had wonderful fresh meat great flavor & perfect bread. I was worried when it said Miami mayo but it turned out to be more tangy like mustard than mayo which I don’t dig. It comes with a side & I got the soup which was perfect for sandwich dipping. Great value for $ 7 – 9 with a small side. I can’t wait to go back!

I was downtown and hungry, and since this truck is currently located at 5th and colorado, thought I’d try it out. The owner was staffing it, and he was such a nice guy! the sandwich, a Miami, was pretty terrific! I highly recommend them.

This truck was in downtown Austin a few weeks ago so I stopped here for lunch. I am a big fan of cuban sandwiches and chose the Miami-style ‘which. The flavor was great — the meat was not dry and it was not overwhelmed with condiments. The mix of meat types was great! I do feel like the potato salad on the side was a bit bland, though(tough to make potatoes have a lot of flavor, I’ll admit). I do appreciate the fact that it was German-style potato salad, though! The staff here was super friendly and I hope that they come around to downtown Austin more often so that we can try some of the different sandwich styles! Oh! I almost forgot to mention the BESTPART — the bread. Perfectly toasted, not greasy and not dry. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

This place is a little hard to find, since it’s tucked away behind a construction site about 20 – 30 yards off Congress near Third Street. But it was worth finding. I tried the Havana, which contains shredded, grilled garlic pork that melts in your mouth, grilled onions, and«Miami» mayo sauce on pressed Cuban bread. Every bite was delicious. What’s perhaps the most interesting thing about their menu is that it basically consists of the classic Cuban Sandwich prepared five completely different ways, some of which I’ve never even heard of before, with diverse ingredients such as roast beef, salami, turkey, sharp cheddar, cranberry sauce, or pico de gallo. If you’re looking for a place with a variety of pressed meat-based sandwiches, this place should work for you. It certainly did for me. BTW, Mike, the owner, said they have only been at this location for about a week and a half. Previously, they were located in Buda, so they’re new to the Austin scene.

Stopped by for lunch as they were a couple blocks from the office and had the Miami sandwich. Bread was fresh and soft, and nicely pressed with just a little bit of toasty crunch. The meats were flavorful and the veggies all perfectly ripe. The sandwich itself was juicy and overall enjoyable. I opted for the side of collard green soup over the potato salad, one of which comes with a sandwich order and enjoyed it as well. Simple, but homemade and flavorful. The owner offered a free drink which was generous and thanked me for coming in and it’s always nice to see a business that appreciates the customers. Service was extremely fast as well, and prices reasonable and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back.

I live in San Marcos and this food truck is worth the drive!!! I first tried them at the Kyle Fair. I saw this huge yellow truck and had to see what they were about. When I saw Cuban food on the menu it got my interest. When I tried the Havana sandwich I was hooked! To top it all off this food truck is family operated and you couldn’t meet nicer people. They love what they do and you can taste it in each sandwich. I love discovering new places and this is place is definitely a hidden gem you must try! PS. Their desserts are also homemade and the Lemon Cake is to die for!

Randomly came to Kali kate to visit the property and noticed a food truck on the property. As I am always up for an adventure I decided to give the food truck a try. What a pleasant suprise this food truck was. It’s a Cuban style food truck focusing on sandwiches and salads. My wife and I decided to try two different sandwiches. I had the Havana sandwich and she had the turkey salad roll. For the sides I had the dill potato salad and she had the collard greens soup. Both of the sandwiches and the two sides were exceptional in taste and fresh. I will defiently be coming back to this food trailer and giving them business. Eat local !
