Efficient and friendly, this chick fil a does not lose to any other chick fil a around the country in terms of quality, despite having to serve a ton of people all the time, including obnoxious college students like us. Only downsides are 1) only outdoor seating, and 2) incompetence. Now I sound harsh on the second point but let me explain. When it’s a fast food chain, there’s not much real variety customers can ask for. It pretty much boils down to vanilla vs regular, spicy vs not, honey vs chick fil a sauce. That’s why even though they’re small mistakes, the fact that I’ve experienced these small mistakes so many times is frustrating, especially from a chain such as chick fil a. Once I came here and they got my entire breakfast order wrong — every part of it was wrong in some way. That’s just shitty attention to detail that can be easily fixed. That’s the main reason for my 3 stars. Once they improve on that, I’ll gladly bump it up to 4 or 5. But on the bright side, they offer free breakfast very often. So make sure to take advantage of it(unlike me) and wake up early to start your day(unlike me). Cheers!

Horrible experience. The person taking my order didn’t understand us clearly so he just place whatever he thought he heard. When we got the receipt I meant to him the order was wrong and he try to ring me up again but didn’t give me a refund. He said he can’t give refund. Plus he argue with me that I never order what I order and I was in the wrong. Never coming back here again

Can’t even begin to fathom why one of my favorite places has such a low rating. I haven’t ever had a bad experience at Chik Fil A. Everyone is always so friendly and accommodating. Loves: nuggets(fried and grilled), waffle fries, fresh fruit, and the spicy chicken breakfast burrito.

I asked for grilled chicken nuggets and got fried. I also didn’t get my walnuts for my kale salad. Not happy. :(

Drive thru @ 11:15PM… says open until 12a but out of spicy chicken? So only open until midnight w/a limited menu? Asian salad way smaller than I have had at other locations by nearly half and I have bought several. Over 5 mins. Waiting with just one vehicle ahead that got one bag of food. Had to go back when I realized I was short changed $ 2+, then had to explain in depth to manager(as if the cop in uniform was trying to scam them). Will not return to this location and recommend no one else does until they get it together.

Three stars only because I like Cane’s better, and there’s only seating outdoors. BUT it’s clean, they do a lot of profit shares, the drive thru is cool. Great for breakfast above all else!

This Chick-fil-A has location going for it, but for my visit it was a little bit off. The seating is outdoor only, covered like a pergola to keep the sun off. But not the rain. The day of my visit it was pouring so we had to eat in the car. If you know that going in, I guess you can’t complain. This particular Saturday morning they struggled to get our order correct. We ordered off the breakfast menu(like the #1 and the #4) and time was going by without an update or order filled. And it wasn’t that busy. Later there was some mixup and one of our meals would not be ready for 5 more minutes(i.e. something wasn’t in stock and had to be made). At this point, we just changed the order to something they had. If this scene was repeated I might score lower, but for only once, I feel that 3-stars is about right. Food is still good and I would stop here again. Although if it’s raining, I might go to Taco Cabana next door.

Good Grief folks, really you want to complain about outdoor seating… oh hush. This location is primarily for convenience and drive-thru. Deal with it… or let it go. Okay with the being said. My rant is solely based on yesterday experience. Cruised by after-work for snack. Order 2– Chicken Nuggets and Medium Fruit Cup. Nuggets were A-OK. The fruit cup was another story. Not sure who preps or when the fruit cups are made. But there was the longest light brown hair in my food. NOJOKE. I’ve honestly come to believe that Chick-fil-A is beyond cleanly and DO no WRONG. Epic Fail, the can do wrong. Will return to Chick-fil-A: YES. This location maybe not for a good while.

It was nice to have this location just off-campus of UT Austin. It’s rather easy to locate, right on MLK and a little bit west of Guadalupe. This location has a drive through and outdoor seating. The way this location was built was only with outdoor seating. The inside of the store is staff only. Most of the tables here seat about 4 – 6 people. I’d say total seating capacity is around 20 – 30 people. I can’t say I’m a huge fan of the outdoor seating. It can get incredibly hot in the summers here. During allergy season, sitting outside is no bueno, nor is it fun to sit outside during the winters. I have nothing against outdoor seating, I just wished there was an option to sit inside. The staff are always nice and accommodating. I’ve never had trouble getting what I needed. The food is staple Chick-fil-A. Can’t go wrong here in terms of the food. Bonus: This location does free breakfast every Wed. during the 2015 – 2016 school semester. I believe it’s from 6 – 10:30 am every Wednesday. Be sure to download the«Hooked» app to redeem the deal

I don’t understand the low rating because this is probably the best location in Austin for a few reasons: Great location on MLK — near downtown and campus. Food is ALWAYS on point. I’ve been to Chickfilas where the food seems unfinished, but the food here is always hot and the fries are always crispy. This place is open late! Probably the latest Chickfila there is in Austin that makes it very accessible. Service is terrific, especially in lunch rush there is not that long of a wait really. Everyone always serves happily! And who cares really about indoor seating?

Chick-fil-A is known to give great service, even better than most restaurants. I understand this location caters to mainly college students, but that should not stop them from training staff to treat us the same as any other customer. Half the time I come here, they seem to be understaffed which causes one of the drive-thrus to be closed, and lots of people lined up at the walk-thru and pick-up window. I’ve never gotten my orders messed up until I came to this location and its happened way too many times. Of course, when I go tell them my order is wrong, they fix it. But most of the time its in a grunting way. Not gonna lie, I will be back because I love Chick-fil-A. But I hope management does something about this location’s lack of good quality service.

Be sure you check your bag before driving away. They have a nasty habit of giving you too little or the wrong food.

It’s been over two decades since the heathens ran Chick-fil-A out of Portland, Oregon. Two decades since my last savoring of the best chicken in the universe. Oh! The chickeny pickley bready goodness. My death row last meal would be a medium rare ribeye sandwiched between two Chick-fil-A’s. In town for a conference on the UT campus, I nearly lost my mind when I saw the Chick-fil-A sign gleaming a block down the street. Unfortunately I arrived on a Sunday, when they’re closed, when they refuse to do business on the Sabbath, which is why we ran them out of Oregon, but anyway, lunch the next day and I was there! As I lifted the sandwich to my mouth, there was a moment of panic. Would it be as good as I remembered? If not, could I survive being so crushed? I put the sandwich down and took a long, thoughtful drag on the ice tea swimming around in a giant styrofoam cup.(Styrofoam?). OMG, the tea! The tea is so good, I forgot about the tea! I inhaled the sandwich in three bites. Not at all or in any way disappointed. But haunted. Will I have to wait another 20 years?

Five stars! …Minus one for no outdoor seating. When I first looked at the page, I was so confused how a Chick-Fil-A could receive anything else than five stars! Then… I remembered. While this locations boasts TWO very quick drive through lines, there is unfortunately no indoor seating. While this hasn’t been an issue since its opening, I can forsee many patrons being upset that they are being forced to eat their delicious CFA in sweltering heat. Hopefully by that point, CFA figures out how to keep customers cool in the middle of the summer. Another downside that becomes noticeable during the lunch rush and rush hour, is that traffic now becomes incredibly backed up right on MLK between Nueces and Guadalupe. However, note that this is not JUSTCFA’s fault, as Raising Cane’s next door does contribute to the traffic jam. I would avoid this stretch of road at all costs between 11:30−1, and 4:30−6. Aside from the few unpleasant features, this CFA is my favored location as opposed to the on-campus locations, mostly because those are vendors and not true CFA locales, and the employees at this location, like at all other real CFA’s, say«my pleasure» after communicating with you. No, CFA, it is MY pleasure. Now please take my money and give me your yummy chicken.

Chick fil a is my favorite fast food and when I say fast food, this location definitely doesn’t know the definition. I waited in the drive thru for my order to come out finally in 7 minutes and the dude didn’t even apologize for the wait or anything. Oh! And to top off my wonderful experience, my fries were basically half full. Why, guys? Why turn a great name into a sloppy and disheartening service?

Good location. Good service. Live flowers at each table. It’s Chik-fil-a & what you’d expect out of a Chik-fil-a. Come to feast & you won’t go broke! Don’t forget the Chik-fil-a sauce. Yes, that’s what it’s called. If you haven’t tried it, you need to. It’s DELICIOUS.
