Super yum! Just stopped at Chico and the Fox for the Trucklandia event. They couldn’t be nicer and their food was top notch. We will be back!

We got together with some friends a few weeks ago for an early happy hour at the Rusty Mule. Several food trailers on site… we choose Chico and the Fox. The guys we talked to were very friendly and answered whatever questions we had. I totally vouch for the Foxy Fries! Anytime I can get fries smothered with great ingredients I am a happy gal! Seriously — these were YUM! Wedge Fries topped with cheddar, pulled pork, jalapenos, sriracha, etc… man… making me crave them just writing about it! I can’t say anything about the rest of the menu since this was all we had, but we’ll be back!

Best pulled pork I’ve had in a long time. Gotta make time for this wonderful food truck. There are a lot in Texas but this one stands above others.

Okay, I do not stand in line for food. That being said I would stand in line for the amazing sandwich, called The Original. It was AMAZING and worth the time seeking out Chico & The Fox food truck. We found this little gem at the Rusty Mule off of HWY290.

We had the original pork sandwich. The pork was tender and flavorful. The only thing I would recommend is asking for extra BBQ sauce if you are one of those people that likes some sauce their sandwich. We also ordered fried pickles and loved them. They have a good panko crust on the spears. Hearty but good. Definitely check this place out and the guys are super nice

I’d like to start off by saying the people were friendly. However, the food was… not great. I got the original(bbq pork) sandwich and fries. The sandwich was so greasy that the bottom bun was completely soggy through out the entire bottom. The flavor was just ok. The fries had little to no taste.

Just had a seriously delicious lunch from Chico and the Fox. First of all, super friendly folks, and super quick service! I ordered Da Club — a turkey sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, some kind of secret jam and a sriracha sauce. Um… utter deliciousness. The bun was toasted, the turkey was thick cut, obviously super fresh, and all of the flavors worked perfectly together. Also got some fries to share after we saw someone else leave with them — they were wedge fries — perfectly cooked(crispy on the outside — not burned — and not too soft on the inside). The fries had a light seasoning on them that was delicious also. Highly recommend — can’t wait to try some more of their options soon.

I’ve been here a few times now and I’ve loved everything I’ve had. The pulled pork on all their food is very tender and very tasty. The basic pulled pork sandwich is great and even at around $ 7, so worth it. It was also huge so I got 2 meals out of it. Try the loaded fries too. Topped with pork, bell peppers, jalapeños and an amazing spicy cream sauce. My only complaint is that their sauces are so good, I have to ask for extra! They guys are super nice though and they always take care of my special orders. They roam around quite a bit so check their Facebook page before you go. So sad when they’re not there!

Chico & The Fox — a great name that I seem to have trouble remembering, but a pork sandwich that will remain vivid in my memory for weeks to come! I got the Threesome — bacon, ham, and pulled pork — and it was juicy, tender, and delicious. It came with a mustard sauce, which, if I had it do over I would have substituted with the BBQ sauce. The sandwich was $ 8, and it would have been nice if it came with a side, chips, slaw, anything. I was tempted to get the bacon mac & cheese, but $ 5 for a small side scared me away.

Roland and crew are new to the Austin food truck scene but a welcome addition. They worked an event at our church recently and the food was well received by everyone. The menu is a nice mix of comfort food items and some more eclectic vegetarian options. The original pulled pork sandwich got several thumbs up from our group. The fries(nice thick cut wedges) just kept coming from the truck as everyone kept going back for more. Definitely worth checking these guys out if they are in your area. Nice guys and great food.
