Literally, every employee is on their phones, peeking out the back room door to see if anyone is waiting around. A couple pizzas out but more done in the oven that could be cut… but somebody is way too busy on their phone. Guy standing at the salad bar texting is a real great choice for running the front of the business… might have to cough to get his attention off his phone screen.

On our first and last visit, the ‘manager mercedez’ was argumentative and confrontational with my spouse. For whatever reason, she assumed he didn’t know how to multiply .50cents*6=$ 3.(that’s the amount of take home slices he wanted) She became condescending and pretty much dismissive as to our request to speak to her direct supervisor. The kitchen staff was more professional and maintained a positive attitude with us. We will NOT be going back to this store and have voiced our discontent to several outlets as well as friends and family.

I have been to this Cici’s on many occasions with my son but here lately I have been busy so we had not been in about 4 months. My son asked to go to Cici’s well because teenage boys like pizza, so I said ok. Within five minutes of leaving I felt sick. We both decided this will be the last time ever and that I would be calling the health inspector. Something happened here and whatever it was needs someone’s attention… stat! Here are the reasons why we will not go back: 1. The food was old and greasy beyond usual(I arrived at noon)…we left hungry from lunch because nothing was good or satisfying. 2. The pizza on the buffet line was just bluh, all of it. We each tried every type and each one was just sad. The dough was either over or under cooked or something was wrong, but it was not right. 3. The pasta sauces were like water… i wish i could post a video to show you, it was really like water. 4. The pasta for the sauces had been sitting so long, whatever was exposed was hard. 5. The salad bar… what happened? The cucumbers were not slices but chunks. The pineapple was fermenting… it seriously tasted like alcohol pineapple. 6. We left feeling hungry because nothing was good. 7. By the time I reached my office I began feeling sick. I have a knot in my stomach like I want to throw up.

Meh. This is more of 5⁄10 restaurant. I tried out the pizza buffet. Was expecting there to be a variety of pastas here, all I saw was macaroni and cheese when I was there plus some other pasta thing that looked way too typical/bland superficially. The pizza was okay. It’s really cheap I will give it that, plus you could just take some of the toppings from the salad bar section for your pizza if plain pizza isn’t enough for you. Still something was missing… the freshness in particular I thought. I mean they kept bringing out fresh pizzas from their kitchen… but still something seemed missing. Perhaps it just wasn’t «special» or «surprising» enough. Oh well. I rounded it up to a 3 star rating because of the cheap pricing so you can fill yourself up however much you like.

I had not eaten here since the early 2000’s so I said«why not?» I sat down to eat and noticed several German cockroaches walking on the wall and floor. The sad part is they were not spooked or bothered and it was clear they were use to the human traffic. Disgusting. Unsanitary. Never again.

So, I was out look for a new place on the South East side of town. I was hungry and decided I really didn’t know what I wanted so, hey why not a pizza buffet. First, there salad bar is good eventhough it doesn’t have a ton of topping choices. Lettuce, fake bacon bits, croutons, pepper rings, black olives, cucumbers, etc and 6 dressing choices. They also had mac and cheese that wasn’t too bad and dry pasta with a vat of sauce on the side. Chicken noodle soup was the choice of the day. They had regular bread sticks and cheese sticks followed by about 6 different types of pizza. I don’t know what it is about this place but, they never seem to have their dough done all the way. Hey what do you want for an inexpensive pizza buffet though right!?! They also had a dessert pizza and some brownies that I didn’t partake in. We got there pretty close to the closing time but, I found it rude that they were flipping up chairs while they still had customers in the restaurant. Nothing tells your clientel to get out quite like flipping chairs while they are still eating!

The worst Cicis I have ever been at. Every pizza was dry and the ranch was bitter as if it went bad. The workers were more concerned with texting and talking than working. Watched one of the customers wait a few minutes standing in front of them to ask a question while they giggled about whatever they were talking about. Horrible. Ruined Cicis for me.

I have to give this place a 3 because sometimes it’s a 5 star and sometimes it’s a 1. Today it was a 1. Most of the pizza was cold and employees were yelling to each other in Spanish across the restaurant. We also brought a coupon in for 1 free buffet with the purchase of one. The employee looked extremely confused and continued to charge us full price. Last time we went it was a 5, the manager was extremely happy and helpful and made sure the pizzas were hot and never running low. My boyfriend and I have decided that we won’t go in anymore unless that manager is in.

As far as a pizza Buffet for $ 6 is concerned, it’s great. Not loud, pretty clean, and well lit. This is fine dining for the price. I’ve been coming here off and on for about Seven years. I like this place more than others I’ve been to across this great state. Love when people criticize this place because they expected new York style pizza and got something else. Fail.

I’ve been to a bigger location before but I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. I thought that the buffet was kind of small(especially the pasta and salad section) but there were a lot of pizzas and if you wanted a new pizza or something, you could just ask them to make it and it didnt take very long. The staff was also very nice. That was a plus. Overall I liked it. I was always afraid to go because it looked kind of suspicious and I thought I might get sick from it but so far. I havent. However… it was just an hour ago… so we’ll see.

I’m not really a buffet kind of guy. But something about Cici’s appeals to me. So I went to check out this one on Riverside. I was surprisingly impressed with the Cici’s in this area. It is clean and organized, with a good staff. Honestly I went in there thinking there would have been none of that. I went so far as to find another Cici’s to go to before hand, but ended up cautiously coming here. The buffet line seemed small, but was well stocked. And I’m pretty sure if you request it, they will bring a pizza of your choice. The gaming center looked good enough to distract kids while everyone else can watch the tvs. I wish the tvs were in better locations, but something is better than nothing. Overall, this is the Cici’s I will come to from now on.
