Watched a Claire’s employees pierce a child’s ears without any gloves or sterilization.
Need I say more.

It was good, a normal Claire’s.

Took my daughter here to get her wee little ears done.
Man…its been FOREVER since I’ve been in Claires! I was a teenager… wheeew. Couple decades ago.
Anyhow. I was so nervous, but my little girl, was a trooper. The staff there were super friendly and reassured me everything was going to be ok. They said when they have little ones in the chair, they have 2 people who do them together so the child doesnt freak out and only ear is done. .smart thinking IMO.
So she sat up there all nice and big and chose the set she wanted (the ones I coerced her into taking, for her own benefit) and she happily sat there, waiting for that moment.
They lined up the holes and off they went. ping, ping. Done. No tears. Just a little shock. yikes. Wow. did better than I did! They really were very sweet girls who took care of my daughter. i appreciate that.
They gave her a little something for being such a big girl, and gave mom a coupon for 50% off an entire purchase. THANKS!
Took her around the store, and found out she loves this place, at 4, as mom did as a teen. So we bought her a couple wands and something else. and went on our way. We will be back (we have been back).

My best friend and I took our daughters for a mommy daughter date and to all get our ears pierced together. We went to Claire’s Boutique in the Barton Creek Mall in Austin. Thankfully, we happened upon one awesome lady who helped us, Melissa Arevalo. She made our experience delightful and all that we hoped for in our mommy/​daughter outing. She was also VERY professional, and paid good attention to detail as we all had unique needs in our ear piercings and she pointed out ways to fix some past issues as well. We were very impressed with her knowledge and the way she handled our daughters as they were a bit nervous. She was terrific!
I HIGHLY recommend requesting Melissa if every you or your child is in the market for an ear piercing. She is by far the best I’ve seen in years.

Great customer service– they lady working helped me find the super cute headband I came in for right off the bat.
Need a cute little headband with a bow in several different colors & styles? This is your place! I found two, spent a mere $ 10 and was out the door with a smile on my face.
Also, this is the most organized and neat looking Claire’s i’ve ever stepped into! Awesome.

I took my son here to get his ears pierced and took a trip down memory lane while I was at it. How long has this place been around? Not this particular place but all Claire’s. Because I could swear this may be where I had my ears pierced, a long long time ago. Pepper was super friendly and informative about the process. I left with a happy teenager, no easy feat might I add and a few bucks worth of bling that I am too old to wear but refuse to admit.
