Incredible service. My sales guy Kevin was so patient with my computer and I. He took the time to explain the software and mechanics of my computer specifically. Would totally recommend to anyone. Customer service here is some of the best I have ever seen.

This place is so great! I am a college graduate student so my computer is very important to me. When my 2.5 year old Macbook crashed I was so upset. Being that it was Saturday and I needed to get it fixed ASAP, I was limited in my options since the majority of computer repair places are not open on the weekends. I read some reviews and ended up coming to CompuZone.
The staff was SO polite from the moment I walked in the door to the moment I pick up my computer. I got a call from their tech guy the morning after I dropped it off (on a Sunday) to discuss diagnostic and options. He was so open and honest about my options and answered my million computer questions with patience. They ended up having sending my computer to Apple for an out of warranty repair since they did not have the parts to fix it in their office, and Apple literally replaced all the hardware components in my computer. When I got my computer back (only 3 days later) CompuZone had waived the initial $ 50 labor/​diagnostic charge for their office since they sent it off, even though I know they did work on it themselves before sending it off.
My computer is my life, and these guys really made a terrible situation so much easier for me. I am so grateful!

My MacBook Pro 2011 suddenly began to freeze at login. I began to fear the worst. Called CompuZone. They informed me of a product recall on my generation laptop’s logic board. It was covered under the recall. I was only charged $ 45 for labor. This place is fucking bad ass. Honesty is the best policy. I now believe in them and will return with any business, as well as recommend them whenever someone asks me where to go. Go here. Boom.

After my Macbook (early 2011 model) gave me the gray screen of death on startup, I wanted to avoid taking it to Apple after having to wait weeks for a diagnosis on my last repair.
I found CompuZone on Google and after reading some Unilocal reviews, I was skeptical at first, but I am so pleased with the service! I dropped my Macbook off and got a call within two days. I had to replace my hard drive, which took only one additional day. CompuZone kept me updated on everything they were doing with my Mac.
The best thing was that they transfered all my data from my old hard drive to the new one, so I didn’t even need to use my time machine. Very professional service. Another plus is that there is plenty of parking nearby! If you’re looking to get your Apple products repaired, I highly recommend CompuZone!

These folks are just awesome! Great service, great price! Cleaned my MacBook Pro of some nasty malware; in one day & well under $ 100! Amazing !!! Highly recommend.

I spilled a small amount of coffee into my MacBook Air’s trackpad, which dried and then made the clicks sticky. Everything still worked and none of the internal liquid sensors were tripped, but the Apple Store said they’re not allowed to handle any repairs involving liquid damage without sending the laptop away. Instead they recommended that I seek out an Apple Authorized Service Provider.
I brought my computer in on a Thursday afternoon and explained the issue. Because everything still worked and it was likely just a disassemble + clean issue, they charged me their fifty-​dollar liquid damage inspection fee and nothing else. The laptop was done later that afternoon and I picked it up the next morning.
There are probably cheaper places (like your friend Ted’s garage) but my warranty remains intact and their service was quick, honest, courteous and convenient. I recommend them unreservedly based on my experience.

These guys are the old Austin (in a good way) and were the main game in town before Apple stores open. These guys are REALLY honest. They said they would repair my computer for $ 50 more than Apple would, so I mine as well have Apple do the repair. They could have easily made their $ 50 back with an assessment fee to look at it, but didn’t charge me that either. I will definitely recommend them far and wide!

They were great at finding a solution to fix my old Mac Air battery problem. VERY fast service turn-​around with honest insights and options.

If you’re a downtown yuppie with an unlimited budget and no real need for your computer any time soon, I’m sure you won’t be too disappointed– It is clearly set up for that customer.
Very nice interior designed to replicate an apple store. Customer service is sub par at best. An older employee not knowing products, leaving you to help other customers mid conversation.
When I came here to have my MacBook repaired, the front desk man handed me a sheet of paper to sign. I asked him what the paper was for, he asked me to sign again. Lol! Buddy I need to know what I’m signing. It was a base $ 55 repair fee and a guarantee I’d receive a call in two days.
After letting them know I didn’t have several days and an unlimited stream of cash to spend, they actually, very nicely, took a look at my computer and gave me a quote of $ 750. I told the repair guy that was the cost of another MacBook (2011 17″) he agreed.
It was a one hour $ 50 LCD fix, so I took my talents up the street.

I was very happy with the quality of their workmanship and how quickly they fixed my computer. The staff are knowledgable. It wasn’t cheap but I didn’t shop around so I don’t have a lot to compare it to. But I would definitely trust them with your machine! The shop is clean and parking is easy in the structure overhead. I would definitely use them again.

I have used Compuzone three times for my MacBook, I’m always impressed with their knowledge, expertise and costumer service. Highly recommended.

I love this place! Prasad and his team have bent over backwards many times to give me outstanding service.
I bought my Macbook here in 2011 and they keep it running strong. They pushed Apple to give me a new battery for free even though Apple’s first take was «no». I also bought my Thunderbolt display here and it started to rain so hard the day I bought it that Prasad actually drove me to my home and helped me get it home so the box wouldn’t get wet. (I do just live a couple of blocks away). I’ve sent other friends here and they were also very happy with the service.
These guys can fix anything, diagnose anything, will go to bat for you with Apple and will know you by name. Outstanding service, fast and excellent communication. Highly recommended.

This guys are amazing. I was trying to replace my Macbook DVD drive for a 2^nd HDD and when I was taking out the last screw, I screw it. Literally. I stripped the screw very bad. I went to several places that call themselves «Laptop Specialists». No of them could handle the situation.
I went to CompuZone and in less than 5 minutes the flawlessly solved the problem.
I was really frustrated before going there and came out with a face wide smile.
The best part? They didn’t charge me. They definitely could.

My iMac had a recalled drive. When the drive started failing — as shown on the diagnostic — I decided not to hassle with hauling the beast to the Apple Store. I told the tech on the phone that I needed a new hard drive. I told the tech again when I dropped off the machine. He called back a few days later saying that they had fixed the problem without having to replace the hard drive. I asked repeatedly if he had fixed it (because I did not want to have take it someplace else). He said yes. I picked it up and was charged $ 50 for some magical repair. When I got it home, the computer was exactly the same as when I took it in for repair. Same symptoms, same diagnostic messages. I called Compuzone, who said I could bring it back in and they would replace the hard drive. No way was I going to do that. They refused to refund the money they charged me. Unacceptable.
I took my iMac to the Apple Store, which replaced the hard drive for free. I guess there is a lesson to be learned from this. DON’T TAKE YOUR COMPUTER TO COMPUZONE FOR REPAIR.

My Mac Book Pro is my livelihood — I need it repaired promptly, correctly and with honesty. Based on reviews I read, I was hoping for a prompt, customer-​oriented service. This is not what I received. I give this CompuZone four + stars for technical expertise but 1 star for customer service.
The technical repair was fine (except for a few software items that I needed to reset to my defaults that had been altered and not restored (e.g., this includes security level, time clock, so far.) This could easily have been done before I picked up my laptop, but I think the «WHY BOTHER» mentality is endemic to this place.
Brought my machine in Saturday for two identified problems; The person said it would be ready Monday and they would call me. I called Monday. The person said the shipment of the needed part was delayed «due to the tornado in Oklahoma.»
OK. Please call me when ready. Tuesday passed, Wednesday passed…
Having heard nothing when I returned from out of town on Thursday, I called.
They said it was ready (the receipt showed the work had been completed Wednesday), but no call — as CompuZone had promised. Most disappointing however was that they lied to me. When I picked up my laptop, I asked the Manager whether they had experienced shipment delays due to the «tornado in Oklahoma.» He said no and explained that the shipments come from within in Texas. Okay, next time keep me informed and don’t lie to me for your entertainment, until then I am going elsewhere. UPDATE: I received a call from the Manager the next day who provided some explanation. Because of an obvious willingness to work to improve customer communication, I have re-​rated overall service to 3 stars.

First, to qualify, I DID NOT have any work done on my laptop here. I called comouzone because I needed a spacebar key replaced on a 2006 MacBook. I was told by the tech on the phone that he couldn’t get a replacement key, only replace the entire keyboard and trackpad for $ 250. I knew this to be incorrect, so I took the laptop to another shop in town and had it replaced for $ 10…
Like I said, I didn’t have any work done there, but I can’t let lazy customer service like that go by without calling them out on it… I know they probably have an expensive lease to pay, but had I not been reasonably tech savvy, I would have spent $ 240 I didn’t need to…

So my screen got hit, (No, not dropped, HIT) and it had a spiderweb-​like crack going on. I search around on Unilocal,found some places to check out. A guy in my IT department at work recommended CompuZone, he said they fix all our iPhone screens at my job (also 4s like mine) for about $ 100 and you’ll be done in 10 minutes.
Boom. I trust him, head on over to CompuZone. The guys were not that friendly. Maybe I came in on a bad day, but they seemed pretty grumpy. I don’t know why, because their iPhone screen wasn’t cracked, and I’m sure if it was it wasn’t costing them $ 100 to fix it.
I bring my phone to the desk, ask them if they could fix it, the guy takes it and walks in the back and said «let me see.» Oooook. Another guy returns with my phone, asks for my contact info, rings me up, $ 130. Ok, a little higher than I was expecting. But whatever, I’m already here. He then says it’ll be ready in two to three hours. Ugh. Longer than I expected, but again, I was already there.
I come back about two and a half hours later, my phone is beautiful and no longer cracked. I check in on Unilocal to see if it’s working, boom! $ 25 off any completed computer repair. I ask the guy if that would be valid on my iPhone, he says no.
You can imagine my sad face.
Overall, wasn’t that impressed. I’m all for supporting local businesses, but from the other places I checked out on here, I think if my screen breaks again I’ll probably go somewhere else.

Came into CompuZone on a Tuesday afternoon– my mac air had a screen fracture and I needed it fixed… by 6pm Wednesday. I was a little bit frantic and worried that they wouldn’t be able to do it, but the immediately ordered the part overnight-​delivery from Apple. I went back to the office and decided we wanted to use it until Wednesday morning (when they would receive the part) so one of the employees delivered! it back to our office! I was blown away at the service. I dropped it off first thing in the morning, they got the part around 10am and called me at noon to tell me I could come pick it up. That’s less than a 24 hour turn around.
I can guarantee that I will be heading straight to CompuZone for any of my future apple needs. (the apple store wouldn’t even give me a time or a price quote until I came into the store).
