AVOID these folks if you can. We rented an apartment for 6 months and then our lease was supposed to go month to month at the same rate. At the end of the 6 months they gave us 10 days notice that our rate would be going up 30% to stay month to month or 20% if we wanted to sign a year long lease. The part that was most frustrating was that they are now offering our apartment(we are leaving in two weeks) for rent to new tenants for our old rate. So if you sign a lease don’t expect to get to renew at the same rate even if they are going to charge new tenants your old rate for your old apartment.

I have to say first and foremost that my rating is based on my interaction with my particular property manager — NEVER returned phone calls, BARELY returned emails, took over a week to run a credit check(in my past experiences they’ve always taken 10 minutes) and took a month to get an exterminator out to my apartment after I had to firmly state that the cockroaches I was seeing in my apartment could qualify for pet deposits — and I stayed on top of my request to have an exterminator come in because I was fearing for my life. In their defense, I did get some explanation that they were«between exterminators» which I can understand, and once the cockroach man came he came on a regular monthly basis. When I finally had to leave the Austin area and found a subtenant to take over my lease it was the same thing, days turned into weeks of me following up constantly and me getting NO response what-so-ever. They get one star for their nice facility and pretty friendly receptionists(when you don’t get the automatic answering system — coincidentally the only way I was ever able to corner the property manager was when the receptionist was not screening calls). My 3 months in the Austin area and with CSA were not too horribly bad, but horribly frustrating. I would recommend them because moreover everything was eventually completed but I would also recommend staying on top of them to make sure your needs are met.
