They’ve only been open one of the four times I’ve tried to go(hours on Unilocal are incorrect). The drinks are good, but they open about an hour too late and close about an hour to early for me to actually go!

Stopped by this location the other day, it’s never busy which surprises me because it’s sandwiched between a pilates gym and a day spa/nail salon. However, the location can be a bit unassuming still. Walking in the place is super bright. There’s a cooler in the back with juices you can take to go, prepared foods. While I was there I tried the salad they had that had pesto and mushrooms and it was delish! I also tried their sample of ‘Balance’ along with ‘Crescent Moon’ which tasted delicious! Everything was super fresh and well balanced. Not too much ginger or one ingredient. In the end I went with ‘Namaste’ smoothie. It was pretty tasty. I would definitely come back to try the ‘Half Moon’, if it tastes anything like ‘Crescent Moon’ than I am sold for life! When I went, Mell and Alex were working and they were super kind. I go to the same juice/smoothie place– Soup Peddler/JuiceBox– and so sometimes it can be overwhelming when trying out a new place. They were helpful and let me try some things while answering all my questions. Mell had some good information on their juice cleanse(it’s the first month of the year when I tend to lean towards a juice cleanse) and explained the process to me. All in all I had a great experience and would definitely try this place again! The one con is that their prepared foods is pretty pricey, but which place isn’t!

This location is either Skinny Limits 5th or 6th location? And they just opened this new location today! The new store is in the same shopping center as Pure Barre and Bruegger’s Bagels at the corner of Bee Caves Road and Walsh Tarlton. The shop is bright and clean with several tables. They have a cooler stocked with their fresh juices and take away healthy meals to go. Their healthy bites include enticing items that are mostly raw, vegan and GF such ash their zucchini pad Thai and Thai Collard Wrap. They will make juices or smoothies made to order, pick up juices already bottled or you can pre-order cleanses for pickup. I stopped by the new location and ordered a Dancer to drink there and grabbed a bottle of Balance and Pure & Simple to go. The Dancer is considered one of their hardcore juices with carrot, celery, ginger, cucumber, beets and spinach. There juices are among the most flavorful and easy to drink juices I have had in Austin. They also are big supporters of local businesses so you will find other delicious snacks on their shelves from local companies. I attended a brief juicing seminar awhile back where one of the owners of Skinny Limits Joanie discussed the benefits of juicing and how they got started. The couple really wanted to provide healthy alternatives to the sugar carb loaded drinks their kiddos were consuming by making smoothies from fresh produce. The two started out by making juices out of their home and when demand picked up they knew they would need to open a retail and hire employees. I am glad to see them growing and becoming more accessible.
