I hate to give such a bad review but I’m in a great deal of pain and I don’t want anyone else to suffer. The lady who did my manicure cut my cuticle too short on 3 nails, resulting in slight bleeding. Then the lady who did my pedicure cut my toe. It didn’t hurt bad at first but she was freaked about it bleeding. Today my toe hurts so bad I can’t wear my work shoes.

Been pretty underwhelmed these last 2 times. Think I’ll try another place next time. I have always liked DK in the past but the last two times first I got an older woman who seemed to tired to even be doing it. The latest one was apparently a younger new woman who watched the tv the whole time and practically scraped off the bottom of my foot she was so entranced with whatever was on the tv in back of me.

I had to think hard about even writing a review, but I feel like the establishment should at least know and the lady that did them was nice, but exhausted, since it was her and one other person there all day. Anyhow, I had acrylic nails put on. My real nails were not trimmed down before hand, my cuticles were not pushed down and trimmed, my hands are all cut up and the whole event was rushed. It is visually clean and people are friendly. Hence the two stars. I work in the industry and noticed only one implement used was new and sanitized. I should of stopped the whole process before it got worse and just left. I appreciate them getting me in, but won’t be returning. Sorry.

I used to work here and they do not properly serialize their implements. I used to get into arguments because the owner would put implements in a unplugged sterilization oven.

I had a pedicure and manicure with Huy. He was awesome! Very careful and thorough. I will go back to see him next time! The place is clean and the staff is friendly. I was very impressed!

I’ve gone 3 times to the Round Rock location and the pedicures there are awesome! I haven’t had nails in a while & decided on solar with colored tips. The first time I went Justin did my nails and they were outstanding! The next time I was there he was unavailable and I wasn’t real happy with the way one of the employees did it. Went back to Justin today. He very detail oriented and he is Fast! My nails look great & I couldn’t be happier! This is Definitely my new nail salon from now on! Thanks guys!

Worst experience ever. My girlfriend and I decided to check this place out bc it’s so close to home and next to our hair salon. We went for a wax and a mani. First, they put us in the same room for waxing(awkward). There really is no second or third complaint, we didn’t wait to speak up. She completely ruined the eyebrow waxing! And no I will not lay back down for you to «fix» them. I would like to leave with some eyebrow! I didn’t want them near my nails, so we left.

Very nice people but way over priced for a half ass job, not to mention they were in a huge hurry so my nails look kind of bad.

Grr… So, everything from my first review stands — that was my experience and it was a good experience. But my Shellac lasted only 1 week. I had three chipped nails by the following Friday, which was 6 days later. By the end of my weekend, the tips of each nail were pulling away from the Shellac and snagging on everything. They looked good, the experience while there was good, the salon is pretty and clean and I really like Christine. I recommended them to a friend of mine who lives nearby and she got a pedicure there and enjoyed it, looked great. But if I’m going to do Shellac again, I’ll have to try elsewhere.

I’ve now gone 3 times. First 2 times were great(different technicians). Pedis were decent and lasted a long time. 3rd time — pretty awful. Different tech — cut the tip off of my little toe with clippers! Was apologetic but also lots of whispering with the male tech at the next station while glancing up at me. Had to point out all the excess polish on one toe after she’d finished. Gloppy pedi — 2nd coat visibly not to the edges. Really disappointed as I had hoped I’d found a new, inexpensive place close to my house.

I was really impressed by this place. It’s not busy at all, the chairs are all brand new and awesome! The pedicure lasted for at least half an hour! They were very particular and made sure my toes looked great(you know-only nail polish on the nail-go figure, huh?) ;) I have a regular nail salon I go to for my manicures but I think I found a good spot for the occassional pedicure! Thanks DK Nails.

Big fan of the new DK in the new Brodie Park plaza/shopping center. Salon is clean and never busy, staff is friendly. My recent pedicure lasted forever! They have a few different«menu» items for pedis so you can choose services/how much you want to spend. Just went back today for a just a polish change, and at $ 10 it was a bit steeper than most, but when the lady busted out the mini brush with nail polish remover, I was hooked(I love when they do that). At other spots I’ve had techs get a bit grumpy and sloppy when it’s just a polish change, but she took her time, and it looks like I got a full on pedicure. There is another salon within walking distance of my work(by the Goodwill), but now I’ll hop in the car for a minute to get to DK — totally worth it.
