The leasing center folks are extremely helpful, and truly care. Got a tour and their facilities are spacious, and you can tell they have been upgraded. Ask for Gregg if you need a tour – he’s so easy to talk to and share concerns with.

The reviews you read are all true. Sometimes you think that maybe people just want to rant, but in this case all the comments are so true. The food is beyond bad. I cannot eat here anymore. Our room smells and the «new» management does not care. They are very rude. It is the worst management I have ever been involved with. I tried to talk to the lady running the place and honestly she has not a clue and does not come across very impressive at all. The other people that are supposed to be in charge are never around, do not return calls, except when you are late on your rent. I ask for the management office and they would not give it to me or my parents.
May will not get here soon enough. DO not rent at Dobie. Tell your friends and do not believe what they advertise. Dobie used to be a cool place to live but not anymore.
My family and I will never refer this place out. DO NOT LIVE AT DOBIE.

In a broad sense this place is not all that bad. Its competitively priced student housing that’s right next to campus. I really wanted to like it and I really wanted to recommend it to my friends but I just can’t. There are always little annoying things which I can usually look past but coupled with the awful food I just can’t stand it anymore. The first month or two was great, lots of options and decent quality… But after we finally settled in they did a complete 180. Now all I have to eat is something deep fried or some tacos with suspicious unknown meat drenched in thick sauce. They used to have a ton of healthy grilled chicken breasts but now they only have it on rare occasion and when they do have it they limit us to 1 per person! Each portion is about the size of a poker chip! I literally need to argue with the man behind the grill to give me more than one. I’m an adult who was promised a decently nutritious meal, I shouldn’t have to beg and plead to be fed. Absolutely unacceptable and its a shame because they were so close to having my recommendation. The café and management don’t care about you here, I would stay away.
