I’ve been here several times on my way in and out on the Loneliest Highway. This is pretty much Last Chance Gas for a couple of hours, so fill ‘er up and stock up on all the junk food that can keep you awake until you get to Fallon. Twice I’ve stopped here after spending a long weekend in the Big Smokey Valley helping a friend build a straw bale house and camping on her land. I arrive dirty and unwashed. I’m forever grateful to the teenaged girl who politely pointed out that I was wearing my shirt inside out and and my buttons were lopsided. Don’t I look purty? Bonus for having a clean bathroom with a mirror so I can correct my worst transgressions.
