Downsizing Estate Sales

My wife and I frequent estate sales. Today we went to a sale to buy a nice stereo system. Paul attempted to help us but when we found that it wasn’t working properly he tried to get us to buy it and fix it at home. We tried to get the item to work but after about 10 minutes he finally told us that there was someone behind us that we needed to let other people behind us look at it. The man behind us didn’t want to look at it and Paul told him that he was just using him as a prop to get us to move. It was obvious that he didn’t want other people to know that it was broken. Most people who work here are honest and helpful but Paul came across as a swindler and spoke down to us, we won’t be returning to Downsizing Estate sales.

Bill Thompson is pleasant, professional, and does exactly what he says he’s going to do. I gave him the keys to my house and two weeks later the house was empty and clean and I had about the amount of money he had estimated. Bill also went above and beyond helping me sell a car that was part of the estate, researching legal issues and going with me to the title office. Downsizing was also one of the few Austin-​based estate sale companies I found willing to work in Kyle. You won’t go wrong by using them.

Biil Thompson met with us and was clear, empathetic and did a great job helping us clear my Grandmother’s house so we could sell it. He took a lot of furniture and tons of household items and with his team sold them all. They vaccumed and swept too! A great experience in a stressful time.

I’ve worked with Bill on several massive garage/​estate sales and he has always done a fantastic job. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor meant higher sales prices and a super-​successful event. I highly recommend him.
