As customers for several years, we have been very pleased. This is the place to find unique, fairly-priced items. It is not a garage sale. We have always enjoyed the items purchased. Bargainville is indeed a bargain. They also recycle; you can bring them all the bags you are not going to use again and they will use them.

Not sure how this company is rated from a consignor’s perspective, but as a buyer, it is ridiculous. First of all their sales have nothing in common with the actual estate sales one expects to see with fair pricing and fair discount schedules as the the sale progresses. It is a consignment shop so it should be called the way it is. Do not false advertise it under estate sales. If you are looking for highly over priced, mostly junk items, by all means go right ahead. Oh, and what is up with the owner’s attitude? If the high priced junk they sell is not enough of a deterrent, the owner’s attitude will sure do the trick!!!

Never use Transitions to sell your furniture. They take your furniture and it can take months before they put it in a sale. And if they do sell it, it can take even longer to get paid. I have still not been paid for a sofa they told me they sold several months ago. It is so frustrating to have to call them over and over again and ask for payments. I also used Westlake furnitre brokers and they were great. My daughter was also very pleased with Design with Consign. Also, I gave Jim, the jewlery broker at Transitions a lot of jewlery to sell. He sold the gold very quickly for a fair price. However, the vintage and costume jewlery was never paid for and I know it was sold because I tried to get a piece back and was told it was already sold. I did get paid for a pearl necklace and bracelet.
