I did not have them do any work. I called to get an estimate as I knew exactly what the issue is with the plumbing. I had a tile contractor doing work on the property who used the toilet in a vacant property and flushed brown napkins. Toilet works but flushes slow and needs to be augered. All other drains were working just fine. I explained all this to the proprietor and the response was $ 250+ to run an auger down a toilet. After I tell him it is kind of high he starts listing all the extra(imaginary) problems he has to deal with to justify the high cost like expecting white carpet in the bathroom. Huh? I didn’t notice the hidden Unilocal review until after I called this business. After reading the negative review it related well to the initial discussion with the proprietor.

If I could rate«0» I would. We live in the downstairs unit of a duplex. The tenant upstairs called Mike to address a clogged kitchen sink drain. Whatever solution he came up with upstairs caused our bathtub downstairs to clog and push potato skins and other food scraps into our bathtub. Obviously he just relocated the clog from the upstairs kitchen into the downstairs bathtub. For the service(which took 15 minutes), the upstairs tenant paid him $ 100. When we called him to ask him to come out and finish the job he started, he refused to do so without being paid again(despite having already been paid in full for a botched job). After some back and forth about the ethics of the issue at hand, he finally agreed to come out and inspect the situation but failed to show. He has since stopped taking our calls, his mailbox is full, and our bathtub has 4 inches of potato peel standing water in it that’s been there for 12 hours. Bottom line, EconoRooter and Mike are subpar plumbers at best and crooks on top of it. We would be happy to remove this review as soon as the matter is resolved. It’s a clogged drain. Surely a skilled plumber can handle this problem in a matter of a few minutes.

Good service. They get you in quickly, esp. if you’re flexible time-wise. And if you have to leave a VM, someone usually calls back within a couple of hours. One time their mailbox was full, but I’ve been pleased with all of the other work they’ve done, so no complaints now. They stick with the quote they give(or come in slightly under) and are great with answering questions. I don’t ever feel like I’m being taken advantage with these guys. They may not be warm and fuzzy, but they’re professional and get the job done. Have had them work on a couple of plumbing issues and on my gas stove. No reason for me to check out anyone else. Highly recommend.
