Last time I tried to go here, it was closed. So I called before driving over. From the message on the machine, they were open. So drove over. Image how irritated I was when they weren’t. So drove to the one on Great Hills. You can read my review. It was TERRIBLE. When I got home I looked at the site on-line, cause the Anderson location said you could place you order on-line. You still can it appears. Website shows the Anderson location open. Just terrible service. I’m not sure what happened to this place. It used to be one of our favorites. Still feeling sick to me stomach from the meal I ate at Great Hills location. Will NOT ever be going back.

Yuck. And it’s a shame because it seemed so promising. But the customer service sucked, the girl at the counter yelled at me because I couldn’t hear over the potato crushing machine, and the food was just not good at all. With all those good ingredients it’s a shame the disservice they’re doing to them. A bit of advice, hire someone who gives a shit about food, and fry fresh potatoes twice, they were limp and soggy, and gross. ANDPUTSALTONTHEMEAT. It’s a burger and fries, very easy to make taste good. Also I feel sick because it was the greasiest nastiest burger I’ve eaten in a looooong time. Oh my god do not eat here. This is what happens when I don’t listen to my intuition, I should’ve walked out like myself told me to.

Someone please remind me why this place is so popular? Overpriced for what it is and the food was below par and bland. I remember paying about 10 dollars for just a burger and fries(no drink) well above what I would pay at somewhere like p terrys and didn’t like the food that much at all. It was very bland and just didn’t work well together for me. The fries weren’t anything worth mentioning either but I was given the elevation sauce when I asked for extra to dip my fries in, which made it slightly better. I don’t think anyone in our party enjoyed the food that much and I can’t speak for them, but I felt sick to my stomach for the rest of the day. Highly disappointed but extra star for it being halal!

Visited this Elevation Burger location today and it was fairly busy. Everyone was being attended to or had their food, though, and we were quickly greeted by the cashier and placed our order. Our order was out in less than 5 minutes and the manager, Patrick, even greeted us and checked on how our food was. We got the vegetarian #2(vegan) burger with fries. The food tasted great and everything was hot and fresh. Very friendly, relaxed«fast» food place.

I just attempted to eat here with a friend. I didn’t even get to the cashier to order food because of how the staff acted. The two kids working in the kitchen kept staring at us and whispering. Then giggles and smirks. Then more staring and whispering. I really couldn’t imagine what was so entertaining. The girl taking orders had the biggest frown I had ever seen. By the time it was our turn to order I decided my money was best spent elsewhere. Horrible service in the five minutes I was in there. Never again.

Where do I start? With the limp and soggy fries? The cold bun? Or maybe the thin, soggy lettuce. This hamburger was a huge disappointment. It was barely edible. Never going back. There’s more to a good burger than grass-fed beef.

I think the burgers here are pretty darn good. All organic food, and home cut fries with sea salt and olive oil fried. It’s $ 11 bucks for a double burger fries and drink. Little pricey but beats the hek out of any other fast food kind of joint. Cool little spot to sit outside with the family and eat burgers!

Average veggie burger, decent price. Slightly overhyped. I walked in and it was empty, which is usually either a good thing or a bad thing. This place prides themselves in their organic beef hamburgers and their veggie burger. My review is only on the veggie burger. First off, let me mention that there are two different veggie burger patties offered. #1, which I ordered, is known as the most popular among the two. The patty has cheese inside of it. Veggie patty #2 does not, and has a lot of soy in it instead. From what the staff was telling me, veggie patty #2 is vegan. As a former vegan I know how important it is that your food is cooked separately from meat. Well, both veggie patties are cooked in a separate area from the organic beef, so vegans rejoice! My actual veggie burger was just okay. The patty looks really weird, so I was skeptical as hell. I took a bite and I was hit with a bit of blandness. I expected it to be more flavorful. It wasn’t nasty. It just wasn’t amazing. I’ve had my fair share of veggie burgers as a former vegetarian and vegan, and I must say that this one was unremarkable. Halfway through my burger the patty did begin to crumble a bit. I was able to finish it though. The fries are average as well. Salty and stringy is how I would describe them. I wasn’t too impressed. Overall I give this place 3 stars because it is mediocre at best.

The first time I went to this Elevation I was blown away! My husband had been raving about it so I tried it out with him. It was delicious. However, I have been back two times after the initial visit and I have to say I am not a fan. The second time I went, my burger was soggy and a questionable gray liquid was coming off the burger. The fries at this point were still great. However, the third time I got a veggie burger which was still soggy and the fries were horrible. They were soggy and oily. I don’t think you should be able to taste the oil over the potato but in this case I could. I will probably not go back and now I have to convince my husband to find a new burger place.

I’ve been to burger joints similar to this all over the country, and I’m primarily based out of «five guys country», but Elevation did live up to the hype. My burger was cooked perfectly, toppings were correct, and it came out super quick. Both staff members at the counter were very pleasant and overall my meal and service were spot on. They have killer fries and it was cool to see some artisanal sodas that were available. If you’re looking for something quick and awesome for lunch, I’d definitely check this spot out!

I’ve eaten there before. The food is good, which is why I returned today for lunch but had a bad experience this time. Today, at around 1 pm, I decided to go to the Elevation Burger just down the street from me on Anderson Lane in Austin, Tx. I had to deliver a summer school lecture at 2:30 and I thought I would have enough time to order a meal to-go, run back home, eat it, shower, and get to the UT campus 6 miles away with time to spare. When I arrived the location which looks to have seating for about 40 people, was about ¾ full and about half already had their meals and there was one customer at the register completing their order. I figured that, at most, in 15 minutes I’d have my order and be on my way home. I ordered 2 burgers and 1 French fry. The time stamp on my order was 1:20 pm. By 1:40 a table of one adult and three kids that were already seated when I walked in were just getting their food. I have no idea how long they had been waiting, but it was a pretty good tip-off that my order which I had placed well after they had arrived was far from complete. I asked for a refund and cancelled my order. The manager asked my name and went back to pull my order ticket off the line and also said to one of the cooks, «Drop 5». Based on where my ticket was in the queue, either my burgers had just gone on the grill or would have been part of a «Drop 9» command. In any case, I estimate that, at best, I would have been 10 minutes from receiving my meal, possibly longer. 30 minutes or more from placing an order to getting served one’s meal at the tail end of the lunch rush when things have been slowing down for a while is unacceptable for an establishment that is set up to at least appear to be a fast food-oriented enterprise. I left the property by 1:45. I arrived home by 1:50. I no longer had time to shower. I dressed and drove to campus. I pulled into Taco Shack, ordered, got my food in 4 minutes. Still, by the time I parked and got to my office, I didn’t have time to eat. I put my food in my mini-fridge and after class I heated my tacos back up in a microwave and I just finished them right before typing this message. Needless to say, I found my experience today at Elevation Burger to be wholly unsatisfactory. If a company is going to offer a fast food menu and compete with fast food restaurants in the neighborhood, then the completion of orders needs to be FAST. I don’t know whether the cause of the poor performance today was due to inferior equipment, poor employee training or performance, or sub-par unit management and organization, but clearly whatever the circumstances were, they will lead to failure if they become routine. I now will avoid Elevation Burger during any peak time and will instead consider the buffets at Gatti’s or Conan’s, or quick meals from other vendors in the vicinity like, Dos Batos, Schlotsky’s, McAlister’s Deli, Panda Express, Sonic. Vert’s, Subway, Zen, P. Terry’s, Taco Cabana, Dairy Queen, Top Notch, East Side Pies, Texadelphia, Bill Miller BBQ, Einstein Brothers or Starbucks. Due to the long unfulfilled wait today, I will now only consider dining at Elevation Burgers at off-peak hours, and even then I may add Whataburger, Hoppdoddy’s and even a whole roast chicken from Walmart to the options already listed above for my consideration besides them at those times. Here’s to hoping that they are able to take corrective measures before wider possible customer dissatisfaction spreads,

I’ve been coming here since they opened and because I’m a fan and returning customer I must say the quality seems to be falling off. The burgers lately have been on the dry side of well done. And the last fries we had, just tonite, were soggy and oily not crispy and light like they used to. Customer service is still good and I will return again in the hopes that the quality returns to the level it was when this location was new.

Hhmm… I don’t really have strong feelings about this place either way. To make sure that you actually have some toppings(blue cheese DRESSING and bacon) and real cheese instead of the kraft plastic cheese slices, my little burger ended up being over $ 8. Shape and size about a step above pterrys. Maybe smaller. What the hell? Staff was very friendly! My burger was fairly tasty and my dad enjoyed it too. I just don’t think you really get the value for your money.

Finally got to try out the burgers here after hearing about their«organic» approach, kind of like Chipotle. The interior looks nice and they even have a fancy looking drink dispenser. However, our dinning experience was sub-par at best. The patties were small, dry, and bland(sauce was good though). I even got a double patty burger and it was still quite small. The burgers tasted extremely greasy even if they’re using extra virgin olive oil. My wife ordered mushroom(cost extra) and they forgot to add it. I had to pretty much stand in line again with the tray just to have them put the mushrooms on. It was an unsatisfying experience and we had to make it up by having some frozen yogurts afterwards. Overall, the burgers here feel like toy versions of the In-N-Out burgers. Man I can’t wait till In-N-Out starts opening around the Austin areas at the end of this year.

Yummy burgers, great fries and alllllll the soda combinations you could possibly want. But this is not why should drop everything and go here now. In a word: MILKSHAKES. Get them all. They’re fabulous. Creamy, thick, full of flavor. I’m presently stuck on getting the chocolate with bananas. Strawberries are awesome too. Go get one today.

Somehow I have convinced myself that if its an Elevation Burger, than its okay! LOL I swear, I LOVE this place. I appreciate that they have the calories listed, and let you know what exactly is or isn’t Organic. I love their soft, partially skin-on, not so fat fries, delicious grilled flavor and great toppings! Throw in some of those oaty chocolate cookies, and an Organic soda and I’m in love. THANKFULLY there isn’t one closer to my house. AND, they have a punch card! Score!

I love that the menu is so simple! You pick a beef pattie or veggie pattie, dress it using a huge list of toppings, and pick a side. Also they have a super fun coke machine that has each and every flavor of coke product(try the Diet cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper– mmmmmmm). My favorite burger so far is the veggie #2. It tastes so delicious, fresh, and homemade! You can actually see the veggies. Also my partner in crime has had the Elevation burger and gives it a big thumbs up!

I might jump an open drawbridge, or Tarzan from a vine. ‘Cause I’m the unknown stuntman that makes Eastwood look so fine. In the end, even after watching a segment on some television show about the most amazing burgers in America, Elevation is still the stuntman. I applaud the effort; specially designed conveyor grill, organic beef, and olive oil fried taters. In the end, its still doesn’t amount to more than a Howie Munson. I’m pushing 40, so if you can’t cook my burger to order and have a bit of pink for me to enjoy for review purposes your getting a three star rating. Menu ordering is easy as others have denoted. A classic two patty ellation burger with caramelized onions, jalapeño, signature sauce, aged cheddar, and tomato. It came with lettuce despite my ordering instructions. The meat had minimal seasoning even with me adding additional pepper packets. Packets, even Dairy Queen has disposable shakers. The fries were good; but my order suffered from some shrinkage. Tiny less than inch morsels that I ended up throwing away because of the dippage factor. I’d appreciate something other than the bottom of the bag ‘O fries on a future visit. So, If Hubert Keller makes the Farrah of burgers. Hill’s Café makes a decent portrayal of the Sally Field, I’d guess that Elevation would make the Heather Thomas career edition. Flawed, but moderately decent fare. I’d still spend the extra cash for a better experience. Not the Eastwood or Redford of burgers, maybe a former NFL player turned actor. Sorry to pick on you Mr. Butkus.

I laughed when I saw the calorie content for the food listed on the menu… Elevation does the burger thing well. I went for a single patty burger + fries. Fresh, fresh, fresh ingredients makes a huge difference, and you can taste it. My college self would say these portions are small, but my older self says that they’re just right. Very affordable food that comes with flavor and quality. The staff here are incredibly nice. It’s a burger joint, so you’d expect so-so service, but I was greeted with enthusiasm and a smile. Really clean restaurant, and it just smells so good in here. Plenty of parking as well. Like others have said, split the fries. Share it. It’s probably not for one person, but I admit that I ate an order all on my own. I’m a sucker for the thin cut ones. Can’t wait to return. I’d actually consider ordering the veggie burger since it sounded so amazing.

***I accidentally reviewed the wrong location initially, OOOPS Helllooooo juicy meatless burger! I personally have tried both the #1& #2 veggie burgers. I prefer the #2(vegan) burger, and I’ve also tried the grilled cheese. I like the fact that their burgers aren’t alarmingly too large for one person, and perhaps seem quite small with the naked eye/hungry stomach. I appreciate the different options, and their successful attempts at including everyone with special diets. See option for lettuce instead of bread. Sure, I guess this would now be considered a chain, but it’s local(this is location #2) and it’s in an awesome area with tons of other great quick/cheap meal options. And sure, it’s strange to be eating here when there once was Northcross mall in this location, and sure it’s in a strip mall, but I’ve gotta say I like this place. The fries are okay, I can go with or without them. A single portion of fries is beyond enough for one person, and better to order one for two people in my personal opinion. The soda machine is other-worldly cool, and it’s ONLY appropriate for me to drink soda when I dine here because it’s just too damn cool and to not drink soda here just seems like a crime. The cookies are almost too healthy for me, the milkshakes are still on my to do list, the staff are nice high schoolers, and they’ll still let you in to eat in a nice enough/non-rushing manner when you show up 20 minutes before they close.
