Facials By Yurani

This review is not about the service since I never received one. It is about communication and customer service (the lack of). Bought a Groupon for a tightening and brightening facial and set up an appointment with Yurani. Right before my appointment, Yurani had to cancel and reschedule my appointment due to a medical emergency. Everybody has some kind of emergencies, I understand that. No problem. It pushed the appointment very close to the Groupon expiration date. Unfortunately, the day before my appointment, I was under the weather. I had to write to Yurani and cancel the appointment. Never heard from her. Guess it was okay for her to get sick but it wasn’t okay for me.

I went here about a month and a half ago. I’ve had eyelash extensions before so I do have something to compare my experience. The facial was very nice along w/​the massage and Yurani was very sweet. I was however disappointed with my extensions bc they started falling off in a matter of days. I was careful both in & out of the shower so not sure what the problem was. I purchased the mascara and cleanser as well. The cleanser (seal?) was broken and leaked all over several times so I have to keep it in a plastic baggie (classy — ha!). Sucks bc it was not cheap. The mascara seems to irritate my eyes with my allergies so I cannot use any more. :-/​I bought the Unilocal deal even though Yurani did not know about it (she was not using Unilocal at the time) BUT she did honor it. You should still tip for full price regardless. Establishment is clean (bathroom is outside her suite) and the walls are thin so you can hear everything from the other suites which is annoying when you’re getting a facial/​massage and trying to relax.

When I first came I to the salon I was greeted by a woman who was clearly just chatting on her cell phone. One of the lashes came off literally while I was looking in the mirror at the finished product, she just took it off my face and didn’t offer to put them back on. My lashes didn’t even stay on for a full 3 days. She also told me to wear goggles in the shower and not to get them wet… ever. The whole reason I get lashes is so I don’t have to worry about mascara when I’m in the water. I use used to get lashes (for about half the price of her) in NY all the time and never had an issue wearing lashes in the water.

She is very gentle during the facial and uses one of the best products.

Yurani is amazing at what she does. This was my first experience here, and I had a little trouble finding the place which made me late to my appointment, but she still gave me a 70 minute facial without rescheduling. She is very gentle and kind. My skin feels like velvet and i recommend the tightening and brightening facial to anyone that has some dullness or needs a good exfoliation. I’m ready to book another appointment and refer a friend for next time!

This was my first professional facial and it was AMAZING! Yurani is very friendly and knows what she is doing! I received the brightening and tightening facial and I’ve already scheduled my second one for next month (can’t wait). She recommended a lip gloss by Image Skin Care called Ormedic which I bought for $ 20 it’s a small tube though but a little goes a long way. It actually stays on for hours and it moisturizes your lips as well. Unlike other lip glosses that require constant reapplication. I don’t wear foundation but do use a mineral based powder occasionally but since my facial I’ve noticed I don’t even need the powder I just moisturize my face and it looks great! Highly recommended her!!!

Yurani applied my first set of lash extensions, and she did a beautiful job! She uses the best line of lash products available, and she is very knowledgeable about the application. Her suite is beautiful and very comfortable. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. I will definitely be coming back. She is a true professional and a really lovely lady.

I absolutely loved it!!! It was so relaxing, and my skin felt great after. I generally have dry skin but the aloe mask was cool and refreshing, and I always hesitate having facials because my skin dries or breaks out after, but that was not the case this time around. My skin felt and looked great. I highly recommend going to Yurani. She’s flexible with your schedule and can accommodate you at a time that works best for you. Loved it.

Great experience! I tried Yurani recently and was very impressed with her skill and the results. She is a very talented aesthetician and a pleasure to talk to during the percedure. My skin has never looked so healthy and glowing, all due to her technique and the Hylunia products that she used. I give her 5 stars because she is very thorough, meticulous, knowledgeable, and passionate about her job. I will be going back to see her many more times!!!

WOW what an incredible experience not only was Yurani incredibly professional and knowledgeable of what she is doing. I went for a facial and a wax and not only did she honor her discount but she used the very best products. She was not only nice but also very knowledgeable of what my skin really needed. She made getting my wax as comfortable as it has ever been I felt very comfortable and spoiled during the entire process… I am definitely going to her from now on … I had an incredible experience thank you Yurani for the incredible job… my face feels so very refreshed like never before and my pores look so much smaller… I absolutely love it…
