This is a great little park at the edge of Lake Austin. The kids and I spent a good hour or so feeding the ducks and throwing rocks in the water. It his pretty well hidden just below the Mansfield Dam, but it is a great spot. I will definitely bring back the kiddos for a picnic and a swim. There is even a tiny okay scape up the hill from the lake.

Fritz Hughes Park is a very nice neighborhood park on Lake Austin below Mansfield Dam. The park has clean restrooms, picnic tables and grills, a playscape and basketball courts. Swimming is allowed but the current can be swift so watch your light weight kids and dogs! FYI: I could not find an address for this park so I used an address for a $ 1,500,000.00 condo for sale on the same street(the only address Google brought up). So follow these directions from 2222⁄620 go south(left) on 620, left on Low Water Crossing Rd, turn left on Fritz Hughes Rd, at the fork in the Rd take Fritz Hughes Rd — the park is on the right.
