Friendly and prompt service. Great food. I had the small Kardiac Arrest(bacon, what else needs to be said?) with a side of guacamole and the habanero mango sauce. $ 8 plus tip. These are southwestern style egg rolls. That’s a real thing, so let’s not debate about whether it’s a taco or burrito or chimichanga or whatever. I saw some other reviews where people complained about the guacamole being bland and habanero mango sauce being watery and bland: The guacamole is plain but seasoned at least with a fair bit of lime juice. It just doesn’t include lots of other stuff like tomato, onion, etc. that you might normally find at a tex-mex restaurant. I think that’s perfectly fine for spreading on my egg rolls so thumbs up on the guac. The habanero mango sauce had good texture and a decent kick. I like spicy food and this was a good level of spice balanced with the fruity mango. I liked it. The meaty Kardiac Arrest was great. I’m not a huge cheese fan so I may get it without cheese next time. The meat ingredients were fresh and tasty. I got the small and that’s a perfect lunch portion for an average appetite. I’m not a fan of the sweet potato chips. I may have a bias because I rarely eat sweet potato anything that I would brag about. My chips had a burnt flavor to them that I’m not sure was intentional. I’ll definitely go back for the Kardiac, skip the cheese, and maybe see if I can sub the sweet potato chips for something else.

Yes! This is exactly what I want out of a food truck! And the guys working there were super nice too.

Ridiculously decadent fried goodness at this truck! I had the Kardiac Arrest(last hoorah before starting a diet…) and it was soooo good! It’s filled with cheese and everyone’s favorite meats(steak fajita, bacon, chipotle pork). The portion was also much larger than I thought it would be. They really stuff their egg rolls well. My egg roll was served with sweet potato chips which I also loved. I dipped them in my jalapeño ranch sauce. Yum! There are a few non-fried options but I wasn’t in a non-fried state of mind. If you want greasy perfection, this is the truck for you. Friendly and quick service, too!

Got a Groupon, drove to two separate locations but they were not there. I called them and they said that they only do special events and have no permanent location. No consistency, which loses customers, bad business. Will never recommend or eat here.

I bought a Groupon and tried to go twice to the location based on the company’s Facebook and other searches. I even left a message asking for their location and no call back! Lack of professionalism! Will never recommend them. Wasted my time and effort!

Great service. Friendly. Very fast too. Tastes very yummy. I got a churro which was amazing and fried pickles that were as equally delicious.

Ordered A Kardiac Arrest and it was more food than I thought would come on a taco. turned out to be two tacos which was just fine by me. I couldn’t eat the tacos by hand as all the juices softened the tortilla too much to hold and that’s when I realized why they gave me a fork! Flavorful meats along with super fresh veggies added to the experience. Can’t wait to try something else the next time!

Definitely not good for you, but very tasty. Though I’m not sure why they call them eggrolls. There is already a word for fried burritos, and it’s chimichanga. Nothing Asian about these. I had the Swoll roll, which was solid. My boss had the she-hulk, which was marginally lighter. The churro was also great. The only thing that was«meh» were the dipping sauces. My mango habanero was super bland — more like a watery citrus vinaigrette you would find at a hotel salad bar. Certainly not spicy. The super sweet caramel for the churros added nothing, but they come filled with a bavarian cream, and that’s plenty.

Frydeez food truck parked across the street from our office on Amberglen Blvd today. My coworker, Ashley and I walked across to give them a try. I ordered the large KA with a side of guac. I decided not to tempt fate by asking them to «Give me a large Kardiac Arrest». The roll was HUGE! It was cut in two which made it easy to split the heart attack risk with my coworker, Cliff. The KA roll was delicious! The guac was fresh avocado and did not include tomatoes, onions, lettuce, or other fillers that some restaurants use. The sweet potato chips were crisp and sweet. My coworker, Ashley, got the Swoll tacos. Ashley said that there was enough in two tacos to make four! We both felt that FryDeez provided an excellent value for the money. My only suggestion: Start serving the KA with a side of Lipitor.

What a nice surprise. A food truck in our building’s parking lot. They arrived early so I spotted them at 10:30 and went to look over the menu. Mexican Asian fusion or Southwestern Eggrolls. The menu is limited but what they have they do it well. At 11:30 I went to order my lunch and had to wait in line already. Ordered the small Original; Swoll Roll and a Churro. A short wait of 5 minutes and lunch was served. Although most of us were bringing the food back to our office, FryDeez set up a table and chairs for anyone wanting to eat there. The two working the truck were so friendly and sweet. The prices are reasonable; $ 7. for a small and $ 10. for regular. Small is 6 inches. The outside was crispy and inside filled with deliciousness. One bite and oh, so good. It was slightly greasy but that didn’t stop me from finishing the whole thing. Now the Churros, OMG, I have died and gone to heaven. About a foot long, filled with Bavarian cream, with a side of caramel dipping sauce. They have a vegetarian option also a non-fried option. I hope they come back to feed me.

YUMMY Southwestern style egg rolls. Very tasty and VERY greasy!!! I had a chicken variety with jalapeño ranch and guacamole. It came with some sweet potato chips, also tasty and very greasy. I loved everything but the guacamole. The sign on the truck said that it was made right there in the truck and I guess that I was expecting something very special. It was the most bland guacamole hat I’ve ever had. It was also the most unfortunate shade of green. The small was totally enough for me!

Tried the Swoll Roll and The Enchilado. Both very yummy, although we preferred the enchilado. Yummy guac. The mango salsa didn’t do much for us. The jalapeño ranch is good but needs more jalapeño. The sweet potato chips are good but could do with a good draining/drying. Ours were mostly soggy. The large is enough for 2. Or 1 very hungry inebriated person. Would definitely eat at again.

I came upon this trailer while it was at Adelbert’s(in my «Top 3» favorite Austin breweries). They specialize in an interesting take on eggrolls. But I went for the«She Hulk» chipotle pork wrap, the healthier menu option but still tasty, just so I could go big for dessert. The churros(3 for $ 5) here are worth the caloric splurge; they are filled with a lovely dulce de leche cream and paired with a caramel dipping sauce.

Frydeez«eggrolls» cooked right up in a rolling truck!!! They’re more reminiscent of chimichangas than eggrolls, but tasty eats just the same! Nothing Asian here… southwest style all the way! Tried almost everything on the menu! Food coma indulgence! There three signature eggrolls — *Original Swoll Roll: Filled with juicy and tender pulled pork, cheese, a corn chile’ salsa(consisted of corn, duh, black beans, and other goodies) and rice — nice blend of flavors and textures all wrapped and fried in extra crispy shell with side of mango habanero sauce. *The Enchilado: Pork, corn chile’ salsa, wrapped in a corn tortilla and deep fried to perfection served with side of jalapeño ranch and a requested side of guacamole. Tasted really similar to the Swoll Roll; difficult to discern much of a difference but still yummy. Guacamole was extra tangy and could have used a little tweaking –perhaps more cilantro, onions, jalapeños — but A-OK. *A Kardiac Arrest: This roll was the big hit for the crowd. Bacon!!!, juicy pork, tender beef, and cheese served with a side of BBQ sauce. Bacon… GOOD…always! And, it just elevated this roll to another level. Ingredients perfectly spread so get a bit of bacon with each bite. HIGHLYRECOMMEND The small eggrolls($ 7 each) are huge! Better be hungry if you go for the large size($ 10)! Albeit fried, the rolls were not greasy at all! But… all eggrolls are served with House made Sweet Potato Chips: Sliced into small strips rather than chips and were pretty greasy. Wish they could’ve been a tad larger and crispier. One slight miss out of so many highs! I’m not complaining, just commenting! All of the bomb diggity sauces are scratch made. Well done! A little more healthy option was the *She-Hulk Wrap: A traditional style sandwich wrap filled with chipotle pork, sour cream and cheese. Massive and for only 7 bucks! Great to dip in all the various sauces! A little less healthy option was the *Giant Fry’d Snickers: Scratch made and topped with delicious caramel. And it was GIANT! Not being much of a sweet eater, one very large bite for just right for me. OMGooey, sweet, crunchy nut, chocolaty messy goodness. At one point, I looked across the table at my husband and he had entire goatee of goo… not kidding! So wish I had time to snap a pick. A fellow friend caught it before it dripped down his shirt and into his lap. :)(Thanks Ashley!) Overall, Frydeez is definitely worth checking out!!! Creative fusion food of sorts and could not be run by nicer folks. Want something a little different than what’s on the menu? I’m sure they would be happy to accommodate. And, if you need more incentive, they give out free banana popsicles! Really… free!

Wow! Was not expecting this little gem to pop up in the new trailer food park at Lakeshore Blvd. and Tinnin Ford(The Break Point I think they all it.)! From talking to the owner, Davy, all his meats are slow-cooked over a time period involving several days AND he has his own chef in there. She’s the mastermind behind all the sauces they offer you: Mango habanero, Serrano berry, and Jalapeño Ranch… ALL are amazing! The food is priced for the portion you want, small, regular, and SWOLL(Double a regular) so pay for what you want! You can also get any of their awesome meats rolled up in a wrap or tossed onto a salad. Dessert needs it’s own paragraph haha! Try the banana’s foster. It’s FREAKIN’ AWESOMEOMG! They also have lemon, apple, and a few custom rolls if you like including a «Fry’d Snickers» which is pretty amazing.
