Went there recently, had to go for the more expensive dinner hour due to busy schedule. $ 14.00 with tip for food that made me ill for 2 days. Place is starting to look run down, good water refill service though. Not sure what happened but was eating ant-acids like crazy for 24 hours after eating there, some of their food tasted funny. Was tempted to ask the waitress if they were planning to close down. Good shrimp selection, not worth it for the high price. After 6 years of periodic visits for the cheaper lunch time, don’t plan to go back.

Just BAD! Nothing that I ate tasted good or even fresh. I know that it’s a buffet and my bar wasn’t even high, it’s just that bad. Almost $ 10 for lunch and they make you pay before you are seated. When I went on a Thursday at 12:30pm it was pretty full. It’s hard to understand why so many people eat here, it’s probably the worst Chinese buffet I’ve ever been to! Save yourself the money and the damage to your taste buds and don’t eat here.

Alright. Not the best Buffet I have been to. Hot n Sour Soup not very tasty. No steamed Crab legs but that maybe a Dallas thing. Over all just okay.

Food is mediocre at best but I am mostly disappointed that the ran out of crab legs. The did give me a small discount(basically paid for my drinks) but I would have preferred eating the crab legs instead. Not returning for sure!

I could be wrong but I think there was fruit in my sushi. This is just a Chinese buffet. Nothing is fresh and it was $ 12. They have a little make your own station where they grill it for you but mine tasted like they hadn’t cleaned the grill very well and it was burned. I wouldn’t eat here. Austin has a lot of great restaurants that $ 12 and can get a lot higher quality food. Yummi is a little further but a lot better.

Atmosphere Prepare yourself… It’s usually quite loud, quite busy, and far from the cleanest buffet I’ve been to. A very common thing at this restaurant is parents who leave their children unattended. So they’re running around the buffet playing and screaming etc. and the parents nor the staff seem to ever do anything about it. Service Hahahaha. Lets move on… Food This place has been busy each time I went, which means the food on the bar was usually quite fresh. *note* I would avoid any of the seafood stuff, especially anything with shrimp. They do not clean them. That vein looking thing going down the shrimp is actually shrimp poo. Yeah, not cute or delicious. *shudder* Price Lunch: 7.99 Dinner(which starts at 3:30pm) is 10.99 Weekend it’s 10.99 all day. Oh, that also doesn’t seem to include a drink. Overall I only come here begrudgingly because I know I’m going to get a headache from the screaming kids and I know I’m going to get annoyed at the fact nobody ever does anything about it. The price is way too expensive for this place. Considering the quality of food is sub par at best and the consistently blah service as well as the screaming children, this place just isn’t worth it.

Good food … Good servers… Food looked and was appetizing on the entire buffet… only Complaint was there was no soap in the men’s restroom. Had to go to the front and ask to have it refilled…

It’s a buffet, not a Michelin Star or Zagat rated establishment. If you think you’ll come here and get traditional Chinese food, you need to put the pipe down. If you want an abundance of decent Americanized Chinese food at an affordable price… well step right in! I don’t go here of my own volition, but I have a friend whom we shall refer to as «K», who has a love affair with buffets… especially Fujian. Seriously, she loves buffets so much she has«Buffet Pants» and she still manages to stay skinny… Fujian has a great selection of the foods you would expect along with freshly made sushi and a Mongolian Grill. They have a great selection of various seafood items. The sushi is surprisingly good for a buffet. I have yet to try the Mongolian thing, since I’m not really much of a fan. The food is rotated pretty regularly, so quality if typically good. I have a strange buffet mentality. I eat nothing but proteins when I come here. No veggies. No starches. Although, lately, I have been finishing my meals with a bunch of fruit. SHOCKING! Service has never been an issue here. Seriously, what are you expecting? My drinks never go empty and my empty plates are always cleared timely. Is it great Chinese food? Not by a long-shot…but it’s pretty damn good for what it is.

I’ve gone here several times, despite not necessarily caring for it too much. My husband loves Chinese buffets, even though we all know that the Chinese buffets in Austin leave something to be desired. Last week, we stopped here after he gave me the puppy dog eyes and asked if we could have dinner. I decided to entertain him, and he was happy. The selection here is very good — lots of choices. There’s sushi, your usual Chinese buffet food, American food, a small-ish salad bar, fruit, and a dessert bar. So… even though it sounds like it’d be great, I’ve never fallen in love with the place. Most of the dishes taste very similar. Everything is too sweet… if they cut out half the sugar in the sauces that they use, it’d be much better. Nothing is very super hot… just lukewarm. Not everything is labeled, so you end up having to chance the«mystery dishes.» The service here has always been good — I’ll give them that. My iced tea never runs out, and there’s always clean plates and a fully stocked buffet. They’re on top of things. If you’re looking to fill up your tummy/gorge yourself, this buffet will work. If you’re looking to be impressed with Chinese dishes/flavors… well, you should probably go to an *actual* sit down Chinese restaurant, instead.

This is one of the better Chinese buffets I’ve been to in town. It’s huge. You can find anything on here. They have a sushi station and a Mongolian bbq station. The options are endless. It’s a little on the pricey side but you’re getting a lot of food options for your buck. There are some quality options but not everything is a home run. If you ever feel like pigging out, this is probably your best option.

I’m a sucker for Chinese buffets, and I’m not quite sure why. Maybe it’s the variety, maybe it’s the MSG overload, maybe it’s the post-glutton food coma, or maybe it’s all three. Either way, Hubs says it’s my downfall. The old burned down Buffet Palace(now the NATY) used to be my go-to place, but uhh… well, it burned down. So one night about a year ago, a(probably PMS induced) food craving hit. Despite the 2.5 star average that Fujian had(seriously, what happened to all the reviews?), I begged Hubs to take me anyway. We all know that Chinese buffets are notorious for having mediocre food, but I wasn’t prepared for this level of crappy. Sure, there was a ton of variety, but everything kind of tasted the same. And bland. I couldn’t tell the difference between the Kung Pao Chicken and the Sesame Chicken, and umm, why was the Hot and Sour Soup neither hot or sour? I don’t know about these positive reviews… surely, the worst Chinese buffet I’ve ever tried hasn’t changed that much in one year. Regardless, I’m still looking for a good Chinese buffet now. Help me find one before the world ends or before I PMS again.

Like Steve L. mentioned, not sure what happened with their old reviews here but whatever. This place is a solid Chinese buffet. It is a little expensive, $ 10 – 11 for dinner without a drink but the selection is HUGE. You see, I’m not so much of a glutton as much as I like tasting a lot of things. They have a sushi area that’s not so bad, I don’t touch the Nigiri, just the rolls and the tofu pockets. They also have a stir fry station, that’s 9 out of 10 times empty of employees. Basically, if you’re craving some decent Chinese food and want to sample things and maybe want some dim sum to HEB sushi then this is your place. A few random musings. Last time I was here I noticed that their sign is a giant thumbs up. Interesting. Also, last time I was here I saw a ‘kidnap truck’. Obviously I parked a few cars over from this. After parking my car I then noticed an ‘escape rope’ coming from a window of an apartment behind this place. When leaving, the ‘rope’ was gone. This side of town is sketchy as F*#k!

If i could rate less i would. First they were rude, then tou have to pay before you(pick your own seat then get yelled at because that was the right one?) eat. The food was gross and cold. Never going again.

We love this restaurant it is our favorite buffet in central texas hands down. Its kind of expensive but its worth it. The sushi is awesome. We had a problem today, we all ordered water for drinks and when the waiter came to refill our glasses the water was tainted. It tasted like it was half mixed with soda. It was undrinkable. The worst part about it the waiter did not understand enough english to understand our issue and could not correct the problem so we all had to share water. We will go back but I hope it doesn’t happen again.

Don’t know why the old reviews got cleaned out. Great place, HUGE selection. Have had my birthday party here for the last 3 years.
