a bit smaller than some other Goodwill locations & thrift store chains, but I got very lucky this time around! found the perfect leather jacket for my next cosplay! you never know what you’ll find!

I have shopped here every week since the first day this location opened. I will never shop here again and I advise everyone to avoid this place.
I visited today and saw a decent set of speakers priced 19.99… Each. I figured this had to be a simple mistake; I have bought dozens of pairs of speakers here and NEVER have I bought them priced separately. I took them to the cashier to checkout and told her «I see they’re priced 19.99 each but I’m positive it’s just a pricing mistake.» She agrees but calls the manager to confirm anyway. She doesn’t want to get in trouble with management, perfectly understandable. The manager arrives and the cashier explains that these speakers are priced separately but obviously should be sold as a set. No, she says, the tag says separate so separate they shall be. She then briskly walks off without so much as a sorry or a look in my direction, giving no time for me to protest. I want to ask, If the tag says a pair of shoes are 7.99 each, will you follow that, too? Pricing things separate that belong together is a form of price gouging and I will not spend my money at a place that does this.
To be honest, $ 40 wasn’t a terrible price for these speakers, it is the principle of the matter that is so infuriating. Also, if this was the first time this place has put me off, I wouldn’t be making such a big deal. This is the most expensive Goodwill I have ever been to, and each time I go I find myself scoffing at prices more and more. Every time I go to this Goodwill I find multiple items that are priced exceeding what they go for on Ebay by %10 to %50. It is not an uncommon sight here to see small plates sold for 1.99 each and larger plates for up to 3.99 each, while other Goodwills will either sell them for .99 each or bundle them all together for around $ 10.00. Today’s experience was just a last straw.
I will still go to the other Goodwills in the area that price things FAIRLY and CONSISTENTLY, such as the one on N Lamar and the one on Research Blvd., but I will never come to this one again.

As I was trying on my selection of clothing, I received a knock on the fitting room door. I was asked by Tina, the associate «If anyone was in the last stall?». I said yes. I was then asked, «Did I let you in?» I replied, «No, the fitting room door was unlocked.» Tina then asked, «How many items do you have?» I replied, «Maybe 10?» Tina then began to rudely tell me as I am putting my clothes back on — mind you –through a closed and locked door that she needed to see the items that I had in the fitting room, and how the limit was 5. I felt that it was rude and abrasive, so I let her know that I won’t be purchasing anything in the store and I won’t be back. Tina said, I’m getting my manager. The manager came to the door — mind you, it was closed and locked — as I am still putting on my clothes and began to spout off company policy that there is only 5 items in the fitting room and that an associate has to let you in. By then, I was clothed — I opened the door as asked «Where is this policy posted» and I let her know that the door was unlocked when I entered the fitting room. She said that the policy is not posted and would forward the feedback to the CEO. I then asked the manger if I could return the items that I bought a few hours earlier and she said that she could only give me store credit. Ok. So, as I was getting into my car, Tina was at the cash register, peering out the window with her hands cupped against the glass as I was gettng into my car. She then turned and was writing down something on a piece of paper. I went back into the store and asked her if she was writing down the make, model, and my license plate number to my car. She said «Seriously, I look out the window all the time». And, her note that she wrote said, «Sweet Jesus, please help me». I have been a loyal customer and donator to Goodwill for a long time and I have even worked for the organization with Goodwill of Greater Kansas /​Missouri when I was in college, and after the way that I was spoken too this evening along with the peering out the window as I was getting in to my vehicle, I will never shop or donate to Goodwill again. The proper way that Tina and the manager should have handled this is… «Did everything workout for you? Glad that it did. Sorry that I didn’t assist you with your items, but I should have let you into the fitting room and given you 5 items at a time». I had two dresses that where boutique dresses marked at 25 a piece along with items that would have resulted in an easy 130.00 sale. Never again will I EVER shop or donate to any Goodwill store. This place doesn’t even deserve a star! Please don’t review this business if you received a freebie for writing this review, or if you’re connected in any way to the owner or employees.

The nice manager is gone – apparently having left for a better job. I’m gone too.

There’s a certain (sterile, bad) clean smell of any Goodwill, and this place has it in especial doses. But they must get a higher-​than-​average allotment of good stuff when opening a new store. I found that the clothing selection hadn’t yet been picked over by vintage re-​resellers. Custom Wrangler bell-​bottoms! And several vinyl LPs of the novelty variety. Those building their classical LP collections should start at the right-​hand side of the shelf — you can find gems there without too many Bert Kaempfert and 101 Strings intrusions.
