I give this 2 stars cause we got 2 different stylists. One was good… however I don’t remember her name. Jeniffer(yes two f’s) was not. I’ve been getting my boys the same hair cut for years(3 boys ages range from 7−22…so a long time!). I tell her to use a 2 on the sides/back and finger length on top. She did then didn’t understand how to blend the top with the back/sides. I mean really!!! This is a simple boys haircut. Don’t go to Jeniffer.

For the record, I was a HUGE fan of this place when Vicki was here. For like 2 years. She was thoughtful, personable, not overly chatty… and she knew how to cut hair. Very well, I might add. I never had so much as one issue with her cuts. In addition, I really do LOVE the Great Clips app and ability to Check –In online via my mobile = no waiting in line FTW. But now that Vicki is gone, my experience has been meh. Connie, the store manager cut me 2 days ago. And with no one waiting, you’d have thought she was trying to set some kind of speed record with my cut. No shit, like a 4 minute cut. Not thoughtful. Not thorough. Oh, and she fired up the clippers and did not even ask — SHEJUSTCUTMYBURNSRIGHTOFF. I mean… WHODOESTHIS? Well, at Great Clips, the Store Manager does — and she’s the one training the other newbie cutters. Beware!

Need a trim? Come on in! Love coming to this location, it’s not as busy as some of the other locations, but that’s a Good thing cuz I don’t like waiting in lines. They always do a great job cutting my hair and my son’s as well. Another cool thing about Great Clips is they record exactly how you got your haircut, which is great for kids & forgetful people like me! LOL Oh yeah almost forgot, they also offer a military discount — $ 10 with military ID. Great Clips also has an App that lets you Check In to specific locations to help Avoid Waiting in a line. The App also gives an estimated Wait Time for each location! Such a helpful tool. FYI: Ask for Vicki, she’s Great!

This is a great location to get a cut. It’s by the gym I go to and they keep a record of your last style so you don’t have to keep describing how you want your hair. There is also an APP you can use to check in that gives you an estimated wait time.

Almost as good as sports clips. Love this place though. Connie is my favorite.

Quality and consistency varies pretty greatly from hairdresser to hairdresser, but I’ve found one that does a great job and I make sure she’s working before I drop in. Being able to check in online to avoid a line is always a plus.

Like James, I have to do the walk-in thing. Since moving to Austin over a year ago I still have yet to find«the one» who can do my really easy to cut hair the way my other person did where I moved from. I had just found something really close, Linda, and had been going to her for several months. Yes, they do have a bit of a turnover at this location, but there were a couple of ladies that were always there. I called when I wanted to go to see if Linda would be in that day and at what times. So I went by there a couple of weeks ago and the place was obviously being remodeled. I spoke to the owner and point blank asked her if the old stylists would all be back when they reopened in a couple of days and she said«yes, they sure will.» I told her how much I loved Linda and she gave me a $ 5 off coupon. Went back on the day they reopened and there was someone new all alone in there. Asked when Linda would be in and the woman replied«oh, Linda does not work her anymore.» I said, «well then your boss lied to me» and left. I do NOT do business with people who lie to me. Don’t care how cheap your haircuts are or how nice your new remodel is. Lying to people to get their business is just plain wrong. If anyone knows where sweet Linda has gone — please let me know!

Unimpressive. I used to go to Great Clips as they were cheap and my hair is really easy to cut. However the quality of hairdresser’s and the turnover rate is really disappointing. I would rather pay the extra $ 5 – 10 and get my haircut at someplace a little more decent.

OK, James, I can see how you would have the impression that this Great Clips location is where new graduates earn their stripes. err highlights. Allow me to take you on. Normally, I have to respect my people — the gay hairdressers(only partly my people as I am not a hairdresser). I have to patronize their stores, give them the biz, dish from under the washing sink flow. However, something has happened to me since I moved to Austin. I’ve gone corporate. Not gross, dirty, Wall Street on a bender, «Greed is Good» corporate, but I am no longer an artist, a creator, a teacher. I’m a road warrior. So, forgive me, my people. I can not keep a hair appointment. I have to do walk-ins. I know. I know. There I said it. Now that you have the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me Supercuts, I have to say the last 5 times I have donned this location of Great Clips, I have had the same haircut by the same person. I will give you the fact that some new faces pop up that I never see again, but my stylist is ONIT! She even remembers where I like texture, what number blade to use on the clippers. I can go to sleep, let her cut my hair, and wake up happy(and lighter by about 3 oz). Jus’ sayin’, James. Jus’ sayin’. Furthermore, this location has probably the best prices on some hair product. Even if you do not get your hair done here, and you like Crew, ice or any other well known product, they probably have it for the best price you can get it in town. Give them another try.

This must be where all the new people go after they graduate from school because you will almost never get the same person twice. Seems like they usually butcher my hair no matter what i say.
