Grove Hill can be found in the compact little shopping block on the corner of 5th & Lamar, right across from Whole Foods. Women’s clothing, gifts, accessories and a few pieces of jewelry to be found here. Not a wonderful selection of items and sort of… well…boring.
Maybe it’s me. I’m probably not mature enough for a store like this. Very sophisticated ambiance. I think of Grove Hill as the Mother-​In-​Law Store. If you have a mother-​in-​law, chances are you could find gifts or apparel for her here. Not that mothers-​in-​law are boring…
I did find a very cool candle wick trimmer here ($ 9) and a couple of other perfect gift items. They also have 5 or 10 pairs of absolutely gorgeous earrings. But other than that… maybe skip this stop.
Grove Hill makes me groggy.
