About 10 years ago I needed to get in a new vehicle quickly and at the time had horrible credit. My brother found Herbies ad on line and I was skeptical. Herbie was just starting out then. When I went in and met Herbie to look at the car I was put at ease immediately!!! He is very straight forward and what his ad says about low down payment and no credit check was 100% true! He made sure I knew exactly what I was getting and how much TOTAL I would be paying NO HIDDEN CHARGES. I had been driving that Saturn until about a year ago when it was wrecked and totaled. I needed a vehicle and instead of going to a new car delearship (which I could now) I went back to Herbie. He worked with me yet again; helping me. He has a saying he would not put you in a car he would not let his own wife drive, and it was put to the test on the Kia I got. I was having issues and he immediatley took charge. Fixed it made sure it was safe and sent me on my way. About a month later I wanted a diffrent car he let me trade in one car for the other even though he thought I was silly. Less than 2 months after that my husbands car died. So we went to Herbie yet again and yes he helped. My husband was laid off a couple months ago and Heribe has been understanding. He is truly a great honest caring person and I refer many people and will continue to do so. If you want to be treated right Herbie’s is the place to go.

These are the kinda guys that get excited when a customer says they’re gonna pay cash in full but get annoyed when a customer even mentions the word finance. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I don’t. They’re very unprofessional with customers who don’t have the money to pay for a car full in cash, very rude too. I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a car.

I needed to get in a new vehicle quickly. I’d found Herbie’s by googling places that deal with those of us with wretched credit. The reviews I read were positive and they had a relatively limited inventory which suggested they really took care of the vehicles they had one lot.
Herbie was very straightforward with me. Didn’t try to sell me. I test drove the truck I had my eye on. And then came in and got to the paperwork. After giving him everything he needed, we went through the financing, page by page. He was very thorough and made sure I understood everything I was signing.
The experience was efficient and stress free. I’m hoping this truck will last a while, but when time comes that I need another vehicle, I’ll definitely go back.

My husband and I love this place. Herbie and his main man Tony work with you on finding the right car for you and your family. We purchased an 08′ Chevy Impala and it runs beautifully. Herbie sells good cars to hard working people that deserve a nice car and don’t have the credit to get financed through a bank. He gives everybody a second chance. I am giving Herbie’s a 5 star rating because he deserves it. He is honest and cares about his customers. When we bought our impala it barely had 40,000 miles on it. There was no way that we would have been financed for a car with such low mileage at a big dealership. YOU ROCK HERBIE!!!

Great selection! Herbie was extremely helpful and didn’t pressure or try to «sell» us at all. He made sure we understood everything about the cars we were looking at and even helped us with our insurance claim info. So great to meet a car dealer that didn’t try to screw us over and even went out if his way to help us even if he didn’t make any money off it. Definitely would recommend this place!

Got in a bind where we needed a car quick on a budget. Found Herbie on Unilocal and decided to stop by. Spoke to Herbie personally and he was very honest and straightforward about every little detail. Drove home in my car that day and felt comfortable about doing it. See Herbie first!

My parents bought me a used Saturn from Herbie about 7 years ago and I’m still driving it. It still runs perfectly! If you’re looking for a fairly inexpensive, great car there’s nowhere else to go other than Herbie’s.

We have purchased five different cars from Herbies, and they have all been great. Herbie has fair and honest prices and his cars have all run well and been trouble free. We are currently driving two of the Saturns we have purchased from his dealership. I can’t recommend any car dealership higher.
