I was in the area last night and was craving Asian food. There were a few other places near but decided to try this place. It 8pm on Sat night and only 2 tables were occupied but tried it anyways! I ordered combination lo mein and shrimp spring rolls. My order didnt take long to come out and I have to say that this was some of the best spring rolls and lo mein that ive ever tasted! The lo mein was delicious! The vegetables were crispy and not soggy! The flavor was perfect and the noodles cooked perfectly and not over cooked! Spring rolls were great and came with some type of dipping sauce not sure what it was but it was tasty! I will be back at this place soon!

When I went in 2014 it was good, and plentiful. No complaints that I can recall. Drove by today and they are permanently CLOSED. Cyclo is now in that place.

I don’t like to hand out the one star but this restaurant truly earned it. The food was average but the service was rage inspiring. I took my mother out to lunch and we decided to give this place a try. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls and waited quite a while for them to come out. But we were patient. When they arrived my mother bit into the spring roll only to find that no shrimp was present. They had given us a veggie one instead. No big deal we can just send it back right? No. This manager had the nerve to first tell my mother that she had ordered veggie not shrimp(uh except we would never do that) and then when I requested a new plate told me they would charge me for both. So I said never mind we don’t need either. Then the manager wouldn’t take the rolls back because my mother had already bitten into one. Well how are we to know that the wrong ingredients are in our food until we take a bite? They tried to charge me for the roll but I paid in cash and excluded that from what I have them. I can handle the wrong food coming out. But being rude and charging us for your mistake. That’s one star material right there.

Yumm sautéed shrimp in lobster sauce. Best food ever, if ONLY they stayed open later. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is always clean

Once upon a time there was a place with delicious huge portions of crispy fried tofu that was covered with jalapeños and green onions… it no longer exists! Unfortunately they’ve cut the portion size to a 1⁄3 and the jalapeños were sparse yet it still costs the same amount. After seeing this I decided I better ask for extra veggies for my veggie phở. Only place I’ve ever been upcharged for this. No cilantro on the side and 2 jalapeño rings made me sad. I came here weekly a year ago and it was far better food and a much better deal. What changed?!

I would give a zero if I could. We just had to walk out after 45 mins of sitting waiting for food. Terrible sevice and not even busy at lunch. no wonder. NEVER again. 1st and last trip. I am with Ashley.. good reviews? They got lucky. The apathy of everyone of the staff was appalling.

Maybe I’m just spoiled? I really don’t understand the good reviews here. A friend and I came here after a foot massage next door, and I was feigning for some good phở. Well let’s just say, I still am. The place seemed clean enough, but this was by far the worst phở I’ve ever had. Bland, barely any meat, and seriously no seasoning whatsoever. The broth for me is the most important part, and this was like a can of warmed watered down low sodium chicken broth. The shrimp spring rolls weren’t good either, tasted like I went to the garden and took a bite out of a head of lettuce. If I had phở here for the first time, I probably would never try it again. Definitely still looking for the good phở I’m used to enjoying because this isn’t it.

At 1pm the place was empty, so I was a bit unsure of what was to come. We were greeted and shown to a table by the waiter, probably family, who appeared to be about 15 and was very helpful. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls first with peanut sauce, which were not bad but not too great either. A little bland. At my request, the waiter recommended the Korean BBQ with broken rice. I thought the rice was perfect and the bbq was delicious and very well seasoned. The meat was a bit tough for some pieces, and just right for other pieces so that was a small challenge to deal with when getting the meat off the bone. Our food came out hot and fast, which did impress me. At about $ 10 a person I definitely recommend this place, i absolutely loved the flavor of the meat. One thing that went wrong, though, was that we were overcharged by a few dollars. I noticed it and was adding up the prices from the menu before we left. It was only a few dollars so I decided to just head out, but as I was getting in my car our waiter came out and handed me two dollars and said the register had made a mistake. For the overall experience I would give it a 7⁄10 and will likely return.

I absolutely love this place! I live near 45th/Mopac and Hoa My is near my boyfriend’s place. We probably eat here at least bi-weekly and sometimes I drive up for a to-go order when my schedule is tight and I don’t have much time to cook. The food is always top-notch, the staff is extremely friendly. I’ve had some of the Vietnamese selections: flat noodles with tofu & extra veggies, spicy drunken noodles, etc. and have also tried some of the Chinese selections: fried rice, sesame chicken, etc. and everything has always tasted great and been outrageously portioned to form leftovers for as many as 2 – 3 more meals for the average person. I also love their spring rolls and Vietnamese coffee, hot or iced. My only complaint about anything here is that their peanut sauce is a little watery in texture for my taste. They recognized me after about my 2nd or 3rd visit and offered me a «frequent-purchaser card»(which is basically a business card that they sign and date when you eat there) that amounts to a free meal at some point so ask for this if it interests you and you aren’t offered one upfront. Love this place, love the food and the staff is always great towards me but I never expect 100% smiles, patience or friendliness at any good, legit Vietnamese/Thai/Korean place. Typically, the good ones are run by staff who probably just aren’t culturally aware of the need for a 30-minute decision-making process on what to order. So relax, don’t be offended; just order and enjoy!

I have been a regular customer here now for well over a year. I love that you can get vietnamese and chinese in the same place! Very well priced especially considering the portion size. And the staff is always very friendly, they recognize me everytime I come in and are very kind. I call and place to-go orders often, and they are always done just the way I order and very quickly as well. Definitely will be a customer for more years to come

I’ve come here a few times in the past few weeks. I love it. I keep getting the calamari w veggies and rice. It is so good. The sauce tastes amazing. The calamari is not the least bit chewy. My sister came w me this weekend and loved the vermicelli bowl. We shared awesome egg rolls. It’s definitely a casual place where you can basically sit anywhere and they’re playing Fox TV in the corner and you’re hearing Asian pop music. As I sit here at dinner, I’m seeing a lot of folks come in to place to-go orders.

Great Phở! But they need to do a few things first: Cleanliness needs to be looked at Spoons should be brought with the phở, not sit in a dirty looking spoon holder at the table. Glass not plastic cups. Smile a little. I’m keeping you in business, at least pretend you like me and appreciate my money.

My boyfriend and I always love this place, for lunch or for dinner. Our favorite wait lady is leaving soon to go back to Paris(she’s a hoot) but the rest of the staff is always friendly and accommodating. We’ve never tried their Chinese offerings here– we stuck to the Vietnamese. However, there’s always a large population going to town on it so I’m sure it’s good. Their spring rolls, either pork or shrimp, are awesome. Peanut sauce is perfect. Boyfriend is a huge fan of their phở ga(chicken breast) but I usually shoot for rare steak or flank. Lately though I’ve been digging their vermicelli. Last time I had pork and shrimp(bomb) but this time I got beef and lemongrass. Soooo nom. It’s surprisingly good, people.

This is literally my favorite place to eat. It is in a great location with lots of shops around. I personally love the Vietnamese Coffee(cà phê đá). I can’t think of a better tasting iced coffee. My friend usually tries one of their Teas they have interesting ones like Mango and Strawberry. I’m a regular so they already know what I like and they will suggest other things to me, which all of their suggestions have been very tasty. Although it is a Vietnamese restaurant, they have other choices, like Chinese and a Korean BBQ dish. Love the combo fried rice, the Phở, the Korean BBQ, their spring rolls are delicious… The staff is so friendly, I feel very happy every time I leave that place because they make me feel at home.

This review is pretty much only for the phở, considering its the only thing I ever get. So, so, so tasty. I have a particular love for phở, especially when sick or hungover and this place does it right! The portions are really big and the prices really low. Service is not so great but honestly, it’s to be expected. I’ve gotten the spring rolls a few times and they are always good. my boyfriend has had a few varying things off the menu and he’s always been happy(he’s a picky eater, sorry honey). On a cold(or massively hungover) day stop on by and get some nummy phở!

Let’s talk phở here. They have lunch specials seven days a week. Plus! I ordered the veggie phở. The veggies were fresh and crisp and plentiful. The broth was a no no. Didn’t jive. Much better phở to be had at phở dan and phở saigon. Come here only for convenience. The place is clean and the service is friendly. Just wish they had better broth. There’s tasted like some funky dead animal. Hard to describe.

My wife and I went here the other day after the place we really wanted to go to was closed on New Years. It turns out that this was no big loss, as we really enjoyed our trip. We each had a flat noodle dish, my wife with boiled noodles and beef, mine with crispy noodles and shrimp. These are the wide, flat rice noodles and you have a choice of soft or crispy. Both dishes were really good. What really surprised me though is that my noodles appeared to be breaded and deep fried; is that normal? By themselves, it would have been a pretty crunchy dish and not really what I expected. My only other yardstick it Hai Ky, and their crispy noodles are much different. In the end, the crispy noodle here turned out pretty good too once they soaked up some of the light sauce. The serving was very generous with lots of well cooked crisp vegetables and a light brown sauce. A very nice balance of flavors altogether, and my wife enjoyed her dish a lot as well. We’ll definitely have to come back here to try some of the other dishes as their menu is pretty extensive.
