Terrible service. The owner or woman that attends the cash register is extremely rude. Unknowingly, I attempted to pay with an Amex credit card, which I later learned that only visa or MC are accepted(after she scolded me). Really, lady? The food is just as terrible. I found a hair strand in my noodle soup as well. Unacceptable. ZERO stars.

I’ve never eaten here, but I’m giving it 5 stars for the name.

Considering that the name of the restaurant is funny you’d think the staff would be more upbeat. Phở was okay but service was bad.

My family and I eat here about once a week. It’s one of our favorite places to eat. Everything we have tried is really good. The food is always served quickly. The staff is quiet — not rude as suggested in some of the other reviews. I don’t ever leave reviews but chose to after seeing some of the negative remarks on here. We will continue to frequent our little phở spot.

Horrible Service. The waiters are rude and customer service is non-existent. The broth had an off taste and tasted old and was overly fatty. Seriously! This is Austin where there are some stellar Phở restaurants. There is no room here for sub par food and below par service!

We go to this place a couple of times a month. Service can be slow sometimes, but their food is very good! We usually share a large bowl of phở(the number 24) and an order of spring rolls(number a 1) and it is more than enough for two people. Highly recommend the rice dishes as well, they are a tasty alternate if you aren’t in the mood for broth. The prices also can’t be beat, 15 bucks for two people to eat is great! Restaurant is clean, usually fairly busy, and food delicious so try them out, even if the wait staff isn’t 100% attentive.

Solid choice for a phở dinner. Nothing mind-blowing but that’s ok in my book! Great place to grab an easy dinner and the customer service has always been good.

This is a pretty nice place to get Phở. If my boyfriend an I don’t go to Phở Dan, we come here. They have a pretty good menu, but a little pricy. I wish they had a way to get spring rolls or egg rolls just 1 or 2 and not 4 for $ 4. Their meat for vermicelli bowls are really well seasoned! Delicious! They have free refills on soda, water and tea and free wifi! It is really quiet in there though, so my group of 4 seemed like even just talking was too loud. The owners were nice and helpful, but they don’t take American Express, which is a bummer.

Pretty good size bowl of phở with lots of meat. Had leftovers. I really like how it’s close to my apartment and work. Also they gave each of us our own plate of beansprouts and lime and mint. A plus in my book when I can hog all the lime and mint from my bf. Egg rolls were nice and crispy. Good place if you’re craving phở or Vietnamese cuisine in general.

I’ve tried many other places that offer«phở» but this place is the absolute best! I love«mom and pop» places with a down home feel. The employees are always so nice! The food comes quick and it’s always delicious. I’m a repeat customer and always will be:))

I came in and got a to go order of white meat chicken phở. It was tasty and fair priced for sure! Place wasn’t super clean and staff wasn’t super friendly but it was lunch hour and they were busy. That says a lot. Busy places are usually good places. I will say, the parking lot is tricky. But then again, I drive a tank.

I just moved from Houston. This was my first place to try for Vietnamese cuisine here locally. To keep this post in perspective, I placed an order in the restaurant to take home. I was greeted promptly and invited to sit down while I reviewed the menu. My first impression was the place was relatively clean with no overpowering odiferous nasal assaults that can be typical of some Asian restaurants. I ordered the beef noodle soup with brisket, round steak, tendon, and bile strip. It was promptly prepared for me and neatly packed up. I requested a side of fish sauce. At home I unpacked everything. Everything I asked for was there. The smell of broth was divine the container with the broth was covered with a lid then covered with plastic wrap, secured with a rubber band. They took the time to insure it didn’t mean. The meat was very tender, veggies crisp and very fresh. It was a large volume of food for a single order. I ordered the large. I was pleased to leave their under $ 10. I will be back.

I’m hesitant to rate this 4 stars because I haven’t tried anything but the bun bo hue(spicy beef noodle soup) and they do not have huyet(the coagulated pig blood) in it(even though the picture on the menu shows it)! I was disappointed. However, since I’ve eaten there, I have been thinking about it and wanting to go back for the BBH. The level of spiciness is perfect for me and the soup is not too greasy. There is also not an overwhelming portion of meat in it. just a personal preference, more noodles, less meat. I don’t know if I’ll ever try the phở there. so please note that the 4 star review is only based on the BBH. I didn’t hear the screaming lady in the kitchen as I was warned. Service was your normal Asian restaurant.

I don’t get the hype about this place. Ordered bun Bo hue for my husband and phở for me to go. It was bland and the bun Bo hue didn’t even come with everything it is suppose to come with. I even ask for the stinky shrimp paste and they don’t even have that. How can you have bbh without the paste? What’s worse is how can you have bbh without the pork blood?!? That’s the best part(in my opinion!) That may sound gross but that’s what it’s called. I only dine here once in while because it is close to work. When I crave phở, this place is the closest and decently fast service. So I can’t be too picky. I just have to adjust the phở myself with extra seasonings.

Love this place! i pretty much stop by at least once a week. Service — The service is fine, not your usually chatty server but they are to the point and get job done and leave you be to enjoy the food. Usually how i’m always served at Vietnamese restaurants and that’s okay with me. The owners are super nice and always there! Atmosphere — The place is nice and open, with plenty of booths for those who cannot contain themselves at the sight of a steamy bowl of phở deliciousness and need their privacy while devouring the food(I’m a messy eater. need a booth). Bathroom is always clean. Food — The way i judge a Phở’s restaurants broth is by. How much lemon and condiments do i have to add before actually tasting them instead of the broth. Phở King has a rich broth that takes a lot of condiments to mask the taste of the broth. Usually i just use the plate that contains the veggies and pour the sauce and lemon juice and just dip the noodles or meat. The fried spring rolls are crunchy, taste and not greasy. My sister loves getting the vermicelli bowls, their marinated grilled pork is ONPOINT. Also, try the CafeSuDa, Vietnamese ice coffee, its delish. Overall. Fair service, good atmosphere, and GREATFOOD!

Beef broth has an odd taste to me. Maybe it’s just me… Had Phở tai chin and the meat was tasty but the broth didn’t do it for me. Couldn’t put my finger on it but it was like a tangy, sweet taste not meant for Phở. The side of lime wedges, cilantro sprigs, diced green onions, and bean sprouts, and basil made were expectedly average. Spent $ 10.25 after tipping for a large lunch bowl. No drink. Bit too pricey for phở lunch.

The phở here is absolutely excellent, perfect broth and quality ingredients. They offer a generous portion of Thai basil, jalapeño, and bean sprouts along with the phở. The other menu items were wonderfully executed as well. Our order was received very quickly and with good service. Great place to come for your phở fix. We will be returning soon!

I come here every Friday with my uncle around 11:30. No wait ever, they let you pick your table. Good variety on the menu I go with pork spring rolls and a phở with flank steak and fatty steak. Food is consistently great here, broth and portions are on point. Service is great it’s usually two young guys taking everyone’s orders, and they are quick and remember our order. Place is cleaner than other phở spots up north.

I am not sure how or why this place doesn’t have a perfect rating! I eat Asian food very often and I know good quality when I eat it and this place is superb! I brought 4 of my co-workers here for lunch and one of the guys had never even eaten this kind of food before. I was slightly, okay I mean severely hungover from a late night and was craving some phở. I had the meatless phở and it had to be the most amazing, flavorful broth I have ever had! All of the guys were overly pleased with their food and said they would certainly return to try another dish. oh yeah so they have small and large and the small was bigger than some large bowls from other places. I got the best dish ever for under $ 6 and i ate on it all day! I can not wait to come back and try a dish with meat. I was not feeling well when I came so I went with meatless and it was so so good I can only imagine how great my next dish will be! Also I got the coolest meditation chart for free that was at their register. I love it! I will post a picture of it tomorrow when I get back to my office where I hung it up. Just writing this review is making me want to go back. I think tomorrow will be my lucky day! ENJOY!
