Fixed our RV tires. One tire was completely flat. John was fantastic, great attitude and went above and beyond to diagnose our tire problems. Instead of a $ 500 bill for new tires it was $ 20 for new valve stems. Thanks for the wonderful service !!!

I called about a week ago to do some comparison shopping and gather information on the hub cap I needed. This past weekend my husband and I stopped by and I could not believe how fast, easy and pleasant the experience was. A lovely woman (not Annie) met at us the door, looked at my car, handed us the right hub cap, put it on the car, ran our credit card (significantly less than what the other place had quoted me) and wished us a happy weekend in less than 5 minutes. Really impressive, glad we went to Hub Cap Annie’s. It was actually fun.

Came by to have two aluminum wheels repaired. They worked with me on the price as I only needed partial refinishing. This was the only place in Austin that would actually do this. Quick turn-​around and called when they were finished the next day.
Returned a few weeks later to have tires swapped on the wheels they repaired + the other two that were not refinished. They gave me a very fair price to mount & balance, and didn’t charge to mount/​balance the two wheels they had previously repaired. Very positive experience and great business transaction.
They even loaded the wheels in the back of my truck for me. Will definitely do business with them again. Thanks!

I’m a cost contentious shopper so when my rim was somehow bent (can you say Austin pothole) to such a degree that the tire lost the seal to the rim and could no longer hold air, I called around to several places to determine my least expensive option. The dealer could attempt to send the rim out for repair for $ 200+ or sell me a new rim for $ 385. The tire places could sell me a similar rim for about $ 275 (similar, not the same). Then I found two places in Austin that do rim repair, Hub Cap Annie and Wheel Technology and they priced me a repair at $ 100 and $ 124 respectively for my type of Rim. I chose to give Hub Cap Annie a try. Unfortunately, since my wheel had been tweaked even in the center and could not balance, they informed me that even if repaired there would be some wobble. So they recommended getting a replacement rim. They managed to get me a rim at $ 185 and threw in the mounting and balancing for no charge. They were friendly and managed to get me the wheel in a day and I was in and out in under an hour.

Been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Amazing service and they always try to give me the best deal possible. You guys definitely got yourselves a returning customer!

When I finally got the «repaired» wheel on my car, I was amazed ar the poor quality of the workmanship. They basically machined the curb damage off the lip of the wheel and left maching marks on the front surface. And when they refinished the wheel, they left a drip near the center. Avoid this place if you care about your wheels.

I went to Hub Cap Annie’s after an unfortunate incident with my wheel and the concrete base of a parking lot light post. I called around and heard that they straighten bent wheels. I visited their website and it looked like they could help me.
I called to get a quote on a wheel straightening and I was told $ 100. I visited on a Tuesday around 1pm and I was helped immediately. This person told me it would be only $ 45 to straighten the wheel.
One star lost for differing price quotes, but I was even happier because it was half as much as I was expecting to pay!
They got the work done in about an hour, which seems fair. I sat down outside because it was a nice day and read a book. They started to get busy around 1:30pm and the parking lot started to get crowded, so I would suggest going earlier rather than later.
I’ve driven 2,600+ miles since they fixed my wheel and have no complaints. I would recommend this place to anyone that needs to have their wheel straightened.
Prices are great and the work was done in a reasonable amount of time. Customer service was on par with the price of the work. This place is cheap, they’re not serving you espresso while you wait.

So I’ve been in Austin a long time and have known of this place for most of it. I went in for two center caps and she had them. She charged $ 20 per cap which is the same price they cost new. So for those who want to know what her prices are like just know she is close to ripping you off. But I needed them ASAP and so I bought them. But here is what caused me to write this review and give her the lowest rating I could. She brought 4 center caps up assuming I needed four and when I told her I needed 2 she was fine with it and proceeded to look for the 2 in the worst condition. One had a scratch on it and had the center emblem sticker coming off. She did this right in front of me and handed me the worst two after throughly inspecting them. I had her switch them out but still she has no shame. I don’t know how this women lasted this long in any type of business but stay away if you can.

I don’t know what all the fuss is about but I had a great experience at Hub Cap Annie. I had an unfortunate incident and I hit a pot hole in Houston literally right before I was driving back to Austin. I changed my tire on the side of the road with the help of a very nice older Mexican fella that barely spoke English. We managed and he was so nice.
When I got to Round Rock of course my Dad was being a Dad and started checking everything out. He discovered that I had a huge crack in my rim. Geez whiz I didn’t know I was so fancy and rims on my car. Lucky me. He called around to places trying to get the best price for a rim repair. Hub Cap Annie won. We dropped it off on a Saturday morning. They were going to send it off to get fixed but Cindy was a little reluctant if they would be able to fix because of the nature of the crack. Either way she said she would call me on Tuesday when it got back. Sure enough Tuesday she called and told me they were able to fix it $ 135 later.
I wasn’t able to pick it up on Friday so a few days had passed before I was back in the shop. Cindy was so eager, pleasant both visits. She even unloaded and loaded my tire in my car. My Dad had told me that he’s been in this place a few times before to get hub caps for the many cars that we had in our past. I always remember driving past this place on Lamar when I was a KID because I remembered seeing the hub cap «tree» in front of the building. Who knew they would be there to my rescue about 20 plus years alter.
At any rate. Like I said I don’t know what all the fuss is about but this was a pleasurable experience. As I’ve mentioned in previous car related posts I hate doing it on my own and rely on the help of my Dad and Husband. My Dad is pretty easy going guy but sometimes it’s hard to really impress him. He liked his experience we had so I would say it’s Dad approved.

RUN LIKE HELL! Better yet, don’t even waste the gas money to go to this business. BUYER BEWARE!

Over priced. Wanted $ 75 for used impala steel rim (didn’t match original — hubcap would not fit), but would work. The guy I talked with claimed Discount Tire would call them to get one and it would be more. Got a new one, completely compatible, at Discount Tire for $ 70. He obviously didn’t know what he was talking about…

They are very affordable and quick. Good place to go if you need help with your wheels!

Unlike some of the other reviewers my needs were pedestrian so i was excited to get my hubcap replacement, even with a few scratches at less the half the dealer and all with a dose of friendly gab. Thanks.

Way too overpriced. They are well known in Austin and have a great location and I guess thats why they easily rip unsuspecting customers off. Their service isn’t so bad but they mostly sell used stuff and one would think he will get a great deal here, not the case. They charged me over a $ 120/​per 16″ Aluminum Rim and I thought I didnt have a choice. Later, I bought same size same quality rim for $ 70 from Discount Tires.
Their other services are also hugely overpriced. They could have been a good resource for Wheels and Hubcaps but their prices are simply prohibitive. I’d rather look around on Craigs list or wreckers or simply buy new, either way I’ll get a better deal than what they offer.

Though I don’t like to admit this, I drive a pretty beat up car. Yes, Goldie and I have been through a lot. Car accidents caused by myself and others, freak hail storms, hit and runs, etc. But Goldie, like me, just keeps on truckin.
Unfortunately, one of Goldie’s hubcaps just couldn’t take it anymore. Anytime I hit a bump or took a corner, I would hear a clanking sound and look out my rear view mirror to see said hubcap rolling down the street in the opposite direction. After three dangerous retrieval missions, I finally gave up and and threw it in the back seat.
I picked up my mom today to grab lunch and she took one look at my car, raised an eyebrow and said we were going to Hub Cap Annies.

Fine. We arrive at Hub Cap Annies and this place is already awesome looking from the outside. What is this fantastic ranch house randomly placed on North Lamar with a hubcap Xmas tree in front?
We walk in and are greeted by an older woman who I really hope is THE Annie. She runs in the back to see if she has a hubcap for my car, and my mom and I fawned over a totally uninterested cat that was sleeping on a hubcap pile.
Annie comes out and tells me the hubcap will be $ 25. Not too bad. Not too great, but whatever. She walks out to see if it will fit, and while she starts to press it on, a tiny crack appears.
«Oh. Oh well. You can have it for free. Sorry about that!»
This concept does not process for several moments to myself or my mom. Free? Hub Cap? Free? Huh?

Ridiculously overpriced; found something they wanted to charge us $ 125 on the internet for less than half the price.

I had a problem with a rim. Some kid said he was the owner. Told me not to get my pantys in a bundle. Not friendly and very unprofessional.

Not just finders of hub caps, but miracle workers too! My husband bent one of our rims going up a curb and and we were told by several places that the rim was toast. In addition to the new tire we had to buy, we could not afford a $ 250 rim too. Looking for a deal on the rim, we went to Hub Cap Annie. They took a look at the rim we had and told us they could fix it in a nifty machine they had for $ 100 bucks. I was worried about going this method because I was afraid it wouldn’t look as nice and that the integrity might be compromised. With no other option, we went for it. So thankful. They save me over a hundred dollars and the rim looked good as new. They even cleaned and polished it. It seems to be holding the tire on the car just fine.

One of my hub caps on my old car was in bad, bad shape. I didn’t know anywhere else to go, and Hub Cap Annie made clear, and logical sense. I went there, showed them what I needed, and they were not only quick but helpful as well. And I felt like they treated me respectably, which is hard when you’re a woman looking for car parts. It was great all around.

Aweful experience. Okay, so I don’t usually shop for hubcaps. They are not a regular item on my grocery list. My husband lost a hubcab on his classic car and later found it after it had been ran over. Hubcap Annie’s website says if they don’t have it they will find it. So I’m thinking this is going to be a great experience. We drive all the way to north Austin and they were so apathetic it made me want to scream. Their website was all wrong. They had all these cheap plastic looking hubcaps and the older lady behind the counter told us to go to Wal-​Mart. I couldn’t believe it. It was pathetic.
