Don’t do it. Lifetime membership too much of a risk after you shell out $ 450.00. If a store in your town closes and you don’t have a receipt, you will have to pay $ 175.00 for replacements instead of free replacements. Not worth the risk.

I initially went to Ideal Feet almost a year ago to find a solution to my foot pain. I too was influenced by Radio advertising promising results and a «money back guarantee». Quite honestly, this is false advertising — they have no intentions of giving you your money back. Instead, they keep giving you different inserts to try and insist that you follow their protocol for wearing the product. Try spending well over $ 450 for something does NOT work — but hey… you have a «lifetime» guarantee. My inserts have been collecting dust — was never really able to wear them. Do NOT waste your money on this product!!!

I have a family member who was hoping for shoes specifically designed for flat feet. Radio spots made Ideal Feet sound promising. I viewed their website and It appeared that they are located in the mall area so that is where we looked for the store. After not being able to find it, and driving around several strip centers as well as walking through the mall I decided to call the store and get directions. This is where my ‘experience’ gets one star. We wasted time and gas. No human answers the phone. Period. When you call you get stuck in an automated loop– basically, on ignore. According to the recording, If you want to leave a message supposedly they will call you back. If you want to talk about a return you can call a long distance number. My suggestions for this business — Your website is decidedly not helpful! Improve your website to include what you actually peddle. It does not indicate if there are and actual shoes for sale, or just inserts, if it is all custom or ready to wear too. It also does not indicate any pricing what so ever. Have the store answer the phone — at the very least for answering the simple questions your website does not and to provide directions. Also note that the fact that returns are such a large customer concern that it warrants a specific portion of the(otherwise useless) recording redirecting the caller to some other area code is just plain off-putting. Also It suggests that the customer service may be lacking. In the end we purchased Dr. Scholl’s inserts from a drug store with the ’foot mapping center’ and a pair of Reebok’s from the sporting goods store. We just kept walking…

I purchased two sets of insoles from the Ideal Feet store in Austin Texas to treat my plantar fasciitis. I had read about their money back guarantee online and was told about it again in store. Though I came in four times for fittings and adjustments, the items did not work. When I returned them within the 90 day guarantee period I was told only 70% of my money could be refunded and that they would not refund my credit card; rather they would mail me a check within two weeks. I have waited one month and no check. I have tried to reach the corporate office but calls to customer service, marketing, human resources and accounting only go to voice mail. The voice mailboxes are full so I cannot leave a message. I feel this is fraudulent. Especially when their website reads as follows: «Money Back Guarantee Thousands of people have thanked us for treating their foot pain, but will it work for you? Put us to the test! Ideal Feet — Money Back Guarantee At Ideal Feet, we’ll let you try our products before you buy. But if you do purchase our lifetime guaranteed products and are unsatisfied, we’ll give you your money back! We believe in our products and boast a 90% success rate. That’s why we’ll always offer a money back guarantee. What do you have to lose? Be sure to check with your local store for details.» The claim asks«What do you have to lose?» In my case, it was $ 600.00. Plus, John is the pushiest, most obnoxious sales person I have ever encountered in my life. When I came in to return the inserts, he lectured me for 15 minutes before he would process my refund. Then he called my a liar when I said I thought his high pressure sales technique was obnoxious. Nice job Ideal Feet.

My mother has constant swelling in her feet and was looking for a comfy pair of shoes. She had read that Ideal Feet had supports and wanted to try it out. We drove 30 mins or so out of our way to visit the little shop and my mother was really excited at the thought of getting customized arch support. We walked in and were completely ignored. We figured that the reps were busy so we started looking at the items displayed and waited. Not once were we ever acknowledged, not so much as hello or we’ll be right with you. My mother was rather perturbed so we left after being ignored for 15 minutes straight. What a shame! I’ll NEVER go back.

My insoles helped when everything else I tried didn’t work. I recommend going to see Jason, as he was very nice and knew what he was talking about because it’s been 6 months pain free for me…
