I’d rather make my own smoothie at home any day over paying an excessive amount for a better than average smoothie from Jamba Juice.
Sure, their smoothies are good, but they’re really not THAT good…
It’s a good place to satisfy a smoothie crave if you don’t have the time to make your own and go for something a bit «healthier» than ice cream.

I’ve loved Jamba Juice for years — going to them regularly in the Los Angeles area and Chicago. Since moving to Austin, I have experienced an appalling difference in many of the places I used to visit. The lack of alternatives to soy and dairy is astounding. I had always been able to get lactose free milk, almond or rice milk for my favorite drinks such as matcha green tea and chocolate moo’d. There are so many people with lactose intolerance who cannot eat soy products that it is hard to believe a place that specializes in smoothies does not offer any of those alternatives. What the hell is up with Austin and why is it so lacking?

Went in earlier this morning and did not even get a smoothie — it was this glob of icey fruit paste that after thawing went from chunky ice to watery juice. Never coming here again for this simply abysmal quality. I don’t care how much more expensive juiceland is I’ve always gotten real quality from there and will continue to go there and not this sorry excuse for a «smoothie» joint.

I enjoy Jamba Juice.
This staff was very helpful and accommodating. Apparently when you order a medium sized all fruit smoothie it covers all your fruit nutrition requirements for the day.

I love jamba juice and have been a loyal customer for years but the quality and service has definitely taken a hit. The drinks come out a lot slower and the employees aren’t the most helpful. It kinda makes me sad because it lost the fun energy that I used to enjoy!

I can’t even begin to count how many times I’ve craved Jamba Juice only to not be anywhere near them. On hot days Jamba Juice is the perfect smoothie place. I know if I walk through those doors… I’m going to buy something; the fresh juice smell when you walk through the door is irresistible. And why are there so many oranges high up in a crate?
Their off the menu White Gummy Bear is my favorite drink. Now if only there were actual gummy bears inside. The Orange Dream Machine drink is also a good one.
In the past you could add a boost for free, but that’s the not the case anymore. I know the drink prices have increased as well, making it harder and harder to walk through those entrance doors. Regardless, their drinks are still amazing and I’d still go in for one from time to time.

Jamba Juice is a great place to relax and grab a smoothie to go. The lack of seating in the area only provides shelter from the hot Texas heat for a lucky few, but that is alright because there is still plenty of standing space, and the smoothies are delicious. You can literally see the smoothie makers use freshly chopped bananas or other fruits and blend your smoothie. You also get a choice of different sized smoothies. For one person, the 16 ounce is generally sufficient. In addition, Jamba Juice provides optional free boosters. Now that summer is kicking in, I would totally recommend swinging by.

Despite the fact that the cashier didn’t let me use their coupon through showing it on my phone (even though my roommate was allowed to before AND after I had told her it was my first time trying Jamba Juice) I will give this place 5 stars because I’m a mother sucker for good smoothies.
My only time here I got the Mango A-​go-​go POWER size! Not sure if it was that much better because I was hungover, but it was dang good. Also, not sure if they do this every time, but I was given a scratch off card. Apparently, every card is a winner and mine turned out to be $ 1 off my next smoothie. (#winning) Will be coming back to try other flavors soon.

It’s a place that squeezes juice out of stuff that mainly grow on trees. Be natural and healthy is the big ad for Jamba Juice. I think I just do not like the flavor. I love oranges as well as orange juice, but not sure why I am not into this Jamba Orange Juice. Maybe it is just my picky taste, I guess. Even if most of my friends like it, I will skip it.

Thought I would try this place again after not going back for about a year. Sorry to say nothing has changed. The kid that worked there was trying but utterly helpless. This is the owners fault for not training and retraining. The product is good but they are just plain clueless.

This is where I first discovered Jamba Juice, and I must say — it is pretty damn good. Interesting how this location manages to stick around, granted that the Drag has some mad turnover. Worth a stop in, and taking a stroll on the Drag/​crossing the street to our amazing UT campus.

When I lived in Southern California, Jamba was a staple. I would get it at least once or twice a week. My particular poison? The mango-​a-​go-​go with an energy boost.
The whole store, like all Jambas, smells like fresh oranges and it feels — I know, odd word choice, but it feels «bright» in there.
If you’ve never been, Jamba is what started the smoothie craze. Just like Starbucks trained us to pay $ 4 for coffee, Jamba has trained some of us to pay $ 4 for fruit and yogurt speed blended in a cup.

The for a limited time only Pumpkin Smash smoothie is to die for!!! It’s like someone took a slice of pie and blended it into a smoothie!
I think I found my new holiday addiction! It’s probably a good thing its only for a limited time, come to think of it ;)

I was introduced to Jamba Juice in Chicago by my uncle many years ago. And I have been obsessed with it since. No other smoothie joint comes close. Jamba juice makes all their smoothes fresh with REAL fruit and yogurt and juice. The smoothie is actually smooth and not filled with giant chunks of ice or fruit or anything annoying like that. It’s reasonably priced and very healthy for you. Good to have as a to-​go breakfast to get you going for the day! And the people there are really, really nice. I could eat it every day if my finances allowed! :D
It is a little annoying trying to find parking for this particular location, since it’s on campus, but waddya gonna do?

The last couple times I’ve been my drinks have tasted like watered down kool-​aid without sugar and ended up throwing them out in the nearest trash receptacle after finishing only a quarter. Wasn’t always that way, but it’s been enough to put me off of going back there again. I just suck it up and walk the extra block to Smoothie King now.
Maybe I got unlucky and the employee making my drinks has been fired or something since then, as there aren’t any other negative reviews.

This was my first time ever having Jamba Juice, and I was impressed! My family and I were visiting Austin for a wedding, and we decided to stop on the way back to our hotel to walk around the University.
We saw Jamba Juice and decided we would give it a try. I got the Aloha Pineapple and my sister got the PB Moo-​ed. They were both really good. The fruity flavors are more refreshing, and since it was hot that is what I got.
Also worth mentioning, the staff were all SO SUPER nice. They were so friendly and made plenty of suggestions when we told them it was out ‘first time’.
I am definitely going to see if there are any Jamba Juices around here!

Where do you go when you’re on the Drag and need a little pick-​me-​up that isn’t coffee or booze? Jamba Juice!
Staffed by a pleasant revolving cast of stoners and college kids. They always get the orders right and seem to be having a decent time behind the counter. Sure, it’s corporate, but frozen fruit is better for you than most of the other Drag offerings. When you want to get your local on, head over to the juice shop on Barton Springs.
