Honestly after my To-Go Order experience, I am over this place and annoyed that have a gift card from this deli. I’ve been under the weather due, Austin allergies haha of course everyone too. I called this location, placed a order for pick-up. You know the usual jazz; sandwich, soups and salad. Nothing to fancy. Well guess for Jason’s Deli standard it’s fancy because they epically failed. Here’s my order: 2 cups of soup, chicken panini and salad bar. Okay, I pretty sure wondering HOW could have they gone wrong. Well I made it home with a Cuban Sandwich and my pesto on the side I had requested but for the wrong sandwich. Was I upset? Of course! I’m sick, left my house to pick-up food that was incorrect. And not only this… When I arrived, they young lady whom was working the counter was delivering food. To which is not her fault that is her job. My dilemma was there was 4 men working behind the counter whom did not help, assist or move an inch when I entered. No wonder my food was wrong, your servers already checked-out! So I called back about my sandwich the young lady offered to refund me. But that would be long process, so instead she offered me a gift-card. Not sure if she could tell, but I didn’t want either option. I wanted the right sandwich, just was annoyed beyond belief after this point. After my conversation with the young lady, I SERIOUSLY got back in the car and went to Jimmy John’s to get a sandwich.

I normally ALWAYS Jason’s Deli but this time was the worse. Was more than half way through with my sandwich and found a toothpick! They offered to make me another one. Was kinda leery eating it but was starving!

Same as all the other Jason’s Deli. Salad bar, free ice cream and very clean. This location has been remodeled recently as well. Service is always friendly and fast. I enjoy many items on their menu but the salad bar tends to be my go to. I like they have the self service for the salad bar which makes getting through quickly in the busy times. Nice to have a fresh, healthy food in the area.

I have always enjoyed eating at Jason’s deli. However, I could say that about a dozen other restaurants. I felt inspired to write a review today because of the exceptional customer care I received by a young lady named Megan. A note to the owner: These are the types of employees that make an establishment different from any other. I don’t know if she’s the manager, but she should be. For real.

The overall selection of sandwiches is not visible when standing in line but it’s okay because I knew I wanted the Spicy Seafood Gumbo and salad bar. The Seafood gumbo was out of this world and I wanted more. The salad bar was tasty as always and I got full.

Tonight we went to Jason’s deli on bee caves because we really wanted a good salad bar and it had been along time since we had eaten at Jason’s deli and had fond memories of the variety at their salad bar. We were disappointed and will not return, the items at the salad bar that we didn’t know what they were didnt have a label, lettuce was not fresh, soft serve was like ice milk in textures,& limited selection such as tuna, pasta or other dishes. We won’t go back

My first visit was last week. The food is 3 – 4 stars. The staff is 5 stars. I’m 40 and this kid, Colin, pimples and all, was amazing. That NEVER happens to me. He was smart, fast, he cared, he read my mind, he was great. He might be, I don’t know, 20, and unfortunately as I get older the inevitable is happening… I’m getting critical of youth… well, everyone. Colin deserves a raise and whomever does the hiring/training deserves a raise. Without Colin, and the others, I probably wouldn’t visit as much, if at all, but I know to avoid the lunch rush and this place will do. I’ll be back.

Jason’s Deli is our most consistent and accommodating lunch restaurant for office catering. Their menu is great, and everyone can always find something they want. The online ordering system they have set up is fantastic and they always deliver on time. I always order the nutty mixed up salad sans chicken and its delicious — I never get tired of it.

The waitstaff and servers were fabulous. It was obvious that they went above and beyond to complete their job. The ambiance made me feel as if I was dinning in a cafeteria. Perhaps a freshman year dinning hall. It seemed effective in serving the rush of customers, but as often true in cafeterias, the quality of food was subpar. We are currently staying in bee caves and I was eager to read good ratings about Jason’s deli because it is much more convenient than driving all the way downtown. As usual when he eats out, my father ordered a simple option and personalized it himself. He ordered a plain chicken panini with double chicken and cheese. I got the chicken panini regular. It was prepared with pesto and mozzarella, and grilled chicken slices that were pretty dry. At least it wasn’t rubbery. I was planning on becoming a regular at Jason’s as I absolutely love a good panini hot off the panini press with quality ingredients that force you to savor each bite Unfortunately, the chicken panini I ordered lacked flavor entirely. So much so that I was dunking my sandwich into hot sauce. My mother’s salad was extremely dull. They just gave her a small portion of olive oil and we were unsure if she was allowed to utilize the salad bar dressings. After a sadly disappointing meal we bowed our heads and licked down a froyo in hopes that the pain would subside.

It’s probably the most average eating experiences ever. Mediocre food, embiance, staff. Not good, not bad. But consistently«egh.» Come here for an easy, mindless meal.

How did I not know this place was here and so close to my work? I guess because I rarely venture over to West Lake much. It often feels like another world over there which is ridiculous, I know. Jason’s has a fantastic menu and their sandwiches are solid and piled high with meat. I’d say the meat to bread ratio is about flipped here compared to other chains. Here you get meat about an inch thick with the bread nicely complementing the meat. Other places you’re hard-pressed to find any meat at all. I had the Club Royale which was hands down the best sandwich I’ve had in months. I even went back the next day and got another one. I never do that. The place is huge and the service is fast. They also have free ice cream. Woo hoo! Sadly, I had no room for it. I am now calling the 12 step program for sandwich addiction.

We were having a work get together and decided to have lunch here since it near where most of use work near at. This is a place where you stand in line and order, and I had trouble deciding to have while others in line were ready to order and felt a bit rushed. So I ordered the Chicken Pasta Primo. After filling up my own drink I headed to the table we were seating at. After a while my food arrived and I was ready to see what it taste like. After one bite it just was average but not bad. It did fill me up and I had gotten the pasta since I knew the sandwiches here are huge and was not really that hungry. This place was very busy and would come back again and perhaps I get one of their huge sandwiches.

Very busy during the lunch hour but things seem to run smoothly and quickly. I’m a fan of Jason’s Deli in general because I enjoy the salad bar, soups, and sandwich combinations. The food is good and consistently you know what to expect. My only complaint would be that at this particular location there are no shades or deflection of any kind and the glare from the cars is terrible. And I mean terrible! I was meeting a friend for lunch and thought I’d save a booth for us ahead of time. I had to move and wait instead because the glare off the cars was sooo bad. Food was good though!

Review update for the fabulous Jason’s Deli! This place continues to serve great food at a very reasonable price. It’s always nice to sit here and people watch. I’ve noticed that the kids from Westlake will usually come here with families after games. It’s just a great place to hang out. And you get free ice cream! You’re supposed to purchase something, but when you’re a kid you can get away with sneaking in the back. My last visit I had the Mediterranean wrap and the bf had the Club Royal. His was packed full of meat and flavor. Mine was very yummy and light! Salad bar is still great, full of options and fresh food. This is a wonderful place to go if you’re in a hurry, need something healthy, or want some chill out time and great food.

So I didn’t really think I was going to like Jason’s Deli because my office orders from them occassionally and the food is usually bland and they usually forget something. But going to the actual location left me pleasantly surprised. It was super clean and bright inside, and was very similar to Corner Bakery(which doesn’t exist in Austin). They have a very wide variety of food to choose from, plus a salad bar, and who doesn’t love a self serve soft ice cream machine? I got the baked potato with broccoli and broccoli cheese soup on top and it was delicious. Way more food than I bargained for. I wanted to keep eating and eating until I exploded. Definitely a great place for lunch, I see myself returning very soon.

The food is JD true. Just not as much in love with this whole place as I used to be. Really like most of their soups.(Chicken Noodle, Broc Cheese, and the Chilli’s). The(non-business) delivery service is really poor. The drivers are nice, but we are always missing items, every time. This even happened when we did a pick up. Then when we actually went back, they didn’t have any left and tried to give us something different, or wait for some fresh to be made. Fine, we waited, but they were making sure we knew just how annoyed they were. Sad, this name has a great reputation generally speaking, they aren’t doing much to uphold what I thought was so great about JD. So, my stars are not about the food so much, it’s all very decent if not good. It’s for the lack of good service, which really detracts from the overall experience. On a more positive note: they do have delicious chocolate chip cookies.
