This is for the portrait studio. We came in for our 7pm appointment yesterday and had a truly awful experience. Back when I scheduled the appointment, I called the studio because our dog was to be in the shoot and that’s their policy to not let you book pet photo sessions online. I was assured that 7pm on a Sunday was optimal because the studio would be empty, that it would be done as quickly as possible, and that we would be in and out, since our dog gets nervous around crowds. We arrived 10 minutes early for our appointment and found the place completely full of people waiting. I was told that we would be called in soon, but that they just got a lot of walk-ins. I reminded them of our appointment and that our dog doesn’t like huge crowds. We were shuffled into a corner and forgotten about for the next 55 minutes while they took walk-in families ahead of us. I mentioned this to them and they just shrugged and told me we’d have to wait at least another 30 – 35 minutes. That’s when I told them we wouldn’t bother and walked out. What’s the point of making an appointment when they treat you like a walk-in anyway? They’ll never see my business again.

(This is a review of the portrait studio.) We had a family photo session yesterday with our 3 yr old and 5 week old sons. I couldn’t believe how great the pictures turned out and how well the photographer(Danielle) she was able to calm down our busy little 3 yr old. She even managed to calm down my newborn and captured some amazing pics. I am so glad I went to JCP instead of giving in and paying a fortune for a private professional photographer to take pics. JCP and Danielle exceeded my expetations and I am so happy! :) Almost forgot to mention how affordable they are! We ordered 18 sheets of printed photos and 36 birth announcement cards for $ 110! Plus, they have a $ 25 coupon that you can apply to that and it goes down to $ 85!!!

Havent’ been to the mall in years, but had to take my 12 yr old to get some jeans and shoes. The store was bright, displays were well put together and kept up. Shoes on sale! got a great price on Nike’s for the kiddo and when I went to pay I mentioned that I had a coupon in my email for 20% off but I forgot to print it before I left home. The associate said«No problem, I have one right here you can use». Saved an additional 20%! Next time I HAVE to go to a mall store it will be this JCPenney location!

Have come here a couple of times and the customer service is always pretty good. The ladies are very attentive and answer your questions right away. I recently visited and thought the customer service is great, the selection has definitely decreased. there wasn’t much to buy in the store. I see JCPenney as a cheaper version of other nearby department stores and if you look hard enough you can sometimes find a great deal. We went in one time with an online coupon for an extra 30% off which was great! Also bought a winter jacket here and it has served me well. No complaints. Good customer service, good prices, and if your in Barton Creek Mall you might as well take a quick look through this place.
