Karen is a wonderful therapist. She is compassionate yet doesn’t sugar coat things. She never falls asleep and remembers what happened last time in therapy — this is HUGE as I have been to other therapists where I was reinventing the wheel each week.
You get your money’s worth every time you see Karen. She has an unlimited bag of tricks and contacts to help you in meaningful and functional ways. For instance, she has recommended to me everyone from medical specialists to home contractors. When I had an urgent, uncontrollable medical crisis, she came through with introducing me to Louise Hay and positive thinking. Sounds kooky but her talk therapy is very real and you will get to the bottom of things with her. She has been around Austin forever and has a network that may be beneficial to you.
