I was referred to Matt by a friend who referred to him as an «angel». I looked at her skeptically as that’s a word I don’t typically use. However, after seeing Matt for over a year, I can say with 100% confidence that it is the correct word to use. Matt’s practice is nothing short of amazing.
He has helped me with everything from sleep issues to an ankle injury to a stomach ulcer. I feel better than I ever have and I owe a huge part of that to Matt’s incredible practice.

I’ve been going to Matthew for about a year. I initially saw him regarding back pain that made it difficult for me to walk long distances. He was able to alleviate the pain after a single session. His healing technique is pretty unique… he uses a combination of modalities: acupuncture and a form of Osteopathy called Cranial Sacral therapy. It is that combination that makes his treatment so effective, at least for me. I’ve used both treatments separately in the past, but never with this level of success. I feel pretty good now, so I go to him for «tune-​ups» every month. It’s relaxing, partly because Matthew is calm and down to earth. It’s easy to relax and let the treatment «do it’s thing».

Matthew is a wonderful healer! I got in touch with him before having to travel and told him about my many health issues and recent injuries. He was extremely patient and helpful in answering all my questions, always available over the phone at anytime I had some concerns. I have had several sessions with him and have loved how relaxing they have been.
The fact he stays and works on other body parts makes it such a more relaxing appointment than traditional acupuncture in which the therapist leaves you whilst attending other clients. He is always very gently in the way he applies the needles, I am very sensitive and have many sore areas but he managed to work through that. He has wonderful bedside manners and makes you feel at ease during your session, I highly recommend him and am excited to have him be a part of my healing team :-)

He really is as good as it gets.
I have a disc herniations in my back that cause excruciating sciatic pain all down my left side. Mathew is helping with my particularly odd herniation as well as helping various other issues I wasn’t even aware of. Each time I see him I feel great. It’s amazing what the body will tell you if you just listen. I’m clearly hard of hearing, but he isn’t! His instincts and bedside manner are top notch and rare for even the most seasoned medical professionals. This IS his calling and I’m blessed to have found him. I don’t want back surgery and I believe this magic man will keep me safe from it. All the while, taking the time to explain anything I want to know.

I’m impressed. I went for my first appointment yesterday with Matt. I have had back problems for 10 years. I normally have tons of knots, it is constantly tight. I have seen tons of other specialist’s. Anyways one treatment with Matt and 90% of the knots are gone! I didn’t know that was possible

Matthew is amazing, I will never go to any other Acupuncturist after seeing him.
He is not only professionally gifted and has excellent beside manner but he has a type of intuition that is sadly rare in the medical field. I had been having some fatigue and general weariness that was not going away with diet & exercise improvements. He definitely made a great impact on my health and made some excellent suggestions.
I rarely feel comfortable seeing doctors mostly because I think they’re going through the motions. With Matthew I sensed a real commitment to his craft and his patients. I was very satisfied.

Best acupuncturist I’ve been to. I have fibromyalgia and usual needling really hurts. Matt did some special kind, and it was almost painless whereas I had given up on the usual Chinese acupuncture. He really knows what is he doing and is one of the most attentive, understanding practitioners I’ve ever worked with. Don’t waste time with your M.D. – go to Matt and get some results.

Matthew as a person made an excellent impression. His calm and professional demeanor put me at ease. He was thorough about his diagnosis and explained his treatment. He did advise a course of action to maintain healing.
I have an injury from 1983 and have sought many methods of relief. Matthew recommended a course of therapy and explained his reasoning. Importantly, he listened to me. I would recommend him to anyone.

I’m not sure what I can add because I completely agree with the other reviews. But I’ll try…
The only con is the location is inside a law office (Someone needs to give this guy some space at a spa!), but the amazing work makes you forget about the location and become immersed in the session.
During my session he noticed that a disc was slipping out of place and recommended I go see a chiropractor. Boy was he right! He may have saved me from huge problem down the road, because I’d just accepted it as part of my profession and wasn’t going to seek help unless it became glaringly obvious.
So thanks again for that and the outstanding work! I hope to be back soon.

Matt is one of the most profound healers I’ve ever worked with. He is gifted beyond words and brings amazing presence and warmth to every session

I’m not just a client of Matt, but I also refer my own patients who I think could benefit from accupuncture and craniosacral work. I’ve been incredibly happy with my own treatments as well as what he has done for my patients.
I’ve had plenty of accupuncture through the years and in all other cases they put in needles and leave the room to work on someone else. One of the things that really sets Matt apart from other accupunturists is that he stays in the room and performs craniosacral and other bodywork while the needles are doing their work. You may walk into his office, but you float out. It’s awesome.

Having read the review by Emilie S., I fully agree with everything she wrote about Matt! Matt has a lot of knowledge about acupuncture and craniosacral work, as well as some of the other alternative health tools. He seems to always know just what is needed. His manner is outstanding, and I say this, as did Emilie, with much experience with other health practitioners.
Matt has helped me with several problems. One was a big digestive problem I had after receiving antibiotics for a surgery. I think the acupuncture needle placement helped, and Matt explained the way Chinese Medicine sees digestion; this ended up helping me a lot in my food choices as I healed. Matt’s perspective includes Chinese Medicine, raw foods, and, as he reminds me every time I see him… joy!
When I had a swollen gland that the surgeon told me would need to be looked at if it didn’t go down, I went to Matt. Matt set the needles, and then he massaged that area in several different ways. He worked really hard to help me. That swelling was gone in 2 days!
I have referred a very timid friend to Matt, as I know that he can introduce the acupuncture needles to anyone and give them a good experience.
Although I don’t want to repeat what Emilie S. said, I will say again that Matt does various kinds of massage and «bodywork» while the needles are in; and this makes the acupuncture experience about a million times better than when the practitioner leaves you alone to stare at the ceiling for 20 minutes.
Matt helped me through a difficult illness, mentally and physically, and I continue to visit him approximately monthly because he helps my body and boosts my spirit!

I will list all the reasons why I love to see Matt. If the list is too long to read just know that everything I have to say is positive and I highly recommend him to my mom, my dad, my husband, my best friends… everybody!
I love to see Matt because:
He is gentle, he cares and he really takes time to listen, he talks to you like a close friend, he is professional, he is very knowledgeable, he know more than just acupuncture and he will use all his skills to make sure you get better and you get the right care, he stays in the room with you while you are covered with needles and he will keep working on your body (normally they leave you in the room alone and you have no idea for how long you have to «wait», so basically the session is simply to have needles in and needles out), Matt has a firm touch, you don’t need to guide him much since you feel like he is doing everything right touching the right spot, he will answer your questions (I communicate by email with him) throughly which makes him very approachable and available, he is genuine, he is the reincarnation of peace and calm, he knows how to make you feel comfortable, he is healthy and he works out (you can care for others only if you take a good care of yourself), he is a KEEPER!!!
I have years of experience with health care specialists like chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, osteopaths, physiotherapists, etc. I never met someone like Matt. I’ve been using his service for nearly a year and I would travel far to see him if he had to move…
