I saw Dr. McKenzie a couple years ago when she was practicing in Kentucky. It really says something that I am reviewing a doctor that I saw years ago but I think about Kristi EVERY time I schedule an appointment with a doctor because I wish it was her. No one compares. She is comprehensive, attentive, knowledgeable, understanding, and sweet. I have never felt so taken care of with a doctor. Hands down the best doctor I have seen and I wish she did not move to Austin !!!

Pros: Doctor and Nurses are sweet. Cons: — I make an appointment every time and still have to wait 30 – 45 min with no one else in front of me. — The voicemail system doesn’t work — all of my messages go into a black hole and they never get a single one. Their excuse is that they just switched to a new system… that doesn’t work. — I’m supposed to have surgery in 2 days(the nurse and I agreed last week that it would be on Thursday). Today is Tuesday and after calling multiple times(of which I only got on the phone with them once just to leave a message for the nurse) as I still didn’t have confirmation of day/time/prep, they tell me its Friday. Then, 2 min. after the call, they tell me its Thursday because the hospital double-booked. — I was charged full price for a biopsy in September. Then I get a notice of benefits from my insurance company saying they already covered it. So why am I getting charged full price when they’re also getting paid by my insurance company? Since the staff are so nice, I’m chalking it up to a genuine«oops». But when it comes to my health and finances, I expect meticulousness. Your job is to provide timely/accurate information to your patient and correctly/properly handle the finance pieces accurately.
