Leal’s Tire Shop is superb. I had my car towed there to get two flat tires replaced. As soon as the tow truck pulled up with my car, a gentleman from the back walked up and asked how many tires I needed and if I needed new or used. I asked for two used tires and he did not try to upsell me; he simply walked back and found two used tires for my car, told me the price (which was very reasonable), and went to work after I gave him the okay.
I then turned to pay the tow truck driver (Bullet Towing, another excellent business if you need anything towed). Afterwards, I turned back and the gentleman had finished airing up and putting two new tires on my car. I looked down at my watch and less than 15 minutes had passed from the time the tow truck pulled into Leal’s! He told me he was done and to pay at the window. I walked up to the window and paid the price the gentleman had told me. I then asked the lady if that was it, to which she replied yes.
I had never had such fast service done to my car. The service was so fast that I didn’t even get the gentleman’s name!
I highly recommend Leal’s and will definitely be coming back for my future tire needs.

Wow! Super quick to patch my tire (5−10min) for the average price of $ 15. Friendly repairman met me in the parking lot and started taking care of me immediately. It’s like the fast food of tire repair. :P

Friendly and quick! Got a rec from Austin Body Works to come here and they didn’t disappoint. In and out in 15 minutes — got a used tire with at least 90% tread for about $ 50 and they were nice when I asked them to check the air in the rest of my tires. I’d definitely recommend to everyone!

Rude, expensive. Don’t let the Aztec charm graffiti fool you this place is quick but $ 60.00 to put on ad spin two tires I brought here new? No thanks last time. Sam’s will spin for $ 8.00 each

I have and will go out of my way to get a flat fixed or to get used tires to replace my old ones. Been going to them for the last 5 years and no regrets. Always in and out and friendly.

In and out in 15 minutes with thick-​tread 3 year old tire for cheap. Pleasant, fast, friendly.

This place was a lifer saver today! Thanks to Unilocal great reviews because they were a life preserver. It was close to my job and they were open! I had been battling trying to get my tire fixed for a couple of weeks. I was just too busy with family and work.
Today after leaving work I realized I couldn’t risk it anymore. My tire finally gave up on me. They were still open thankfully.
Service was fast and great. I am Coconut being Hispanic. I can’t speak Spanish fluently. The guy realized after I would reply to him in English. Very respectful about it too. Most folks would get mad at me. LoL. They were working on three other cars at the time and I was in and out before all three.
The gentleman said your are good to go sir. Told the cashier I was ready. Cashier spoke English like me and was very friendly. She said they were even open on Sundays if I ever needed to come back again.
Over all I was happy with my service. I must say the bbq trucks next door had me Unilocaling them.

I woke up this morning to a completely flat (slashed) tire. I called Leal’s and they said they would have my tire waiting for me upon arrival. Nothing but great service, friendly and helpful staff, straightforward and no time wasting. Very happy with their quality and affordability. Will definitely go back for more tire help in the future!

When I say this place is as good as it gets, it really is! I’m so thankful for this gem of a tire shop. Every person I encountered was professional, courteous, and considerate. It’s also a HUGE plus that they’re open on Sundays. From the moment you arrive, you’re not only greeted, but you also know exactly what to expect because their prices, polices, and procedures are clearly posted at the front of the shop — no surprises here. Lies, the best and only surprise I got was that I didn’t have to wait very long at all, my tire just had a nail in it (quick fix), AND I was advised to have my spare repaired (because it was also flat). I arrived feeling extremely frustrated, what with a flat tire and shitty tow truck driver, but left feeling like my day would turn around and SO thankful to have found this place. Huge thanks to Jesse, who made me feel like everything would get taken care of accordingly from the moment I arrived!
PS. You do wait outside, from what I could tell, so just dress accordingly (ie. if it’s raining or cold, bring a jacket, duh).

Jonathan! You rock. My dad was visiting from out of town, and my car was a hot mess. Not only did Jonathan have my tires safe and running in less than 20 minutes, he gave us some great advice that led to my beat up little Mini being totally street legal by the end of the day. Love this place. I’ll come back here anytime I need tires.

I had a side wall puncture. These guys got me done in SEVEN MINUTES and for only $ 10! Great shop.

So great. So nice and honest. I was told I had to get at least two new tires maybe all new… I came over to leals and they took a look… there was just a screw in my front tire. $ 10 repair. Said my other tires would be good for at least a year. I will for sure be back.

These guys have more tire know-​how under one grimy fingernail than the majority of other tire shops combined. Johnathan took extra care with my over-​priced and completely unnecessary performance wheels.

These guys are my favorite local tire shop! Thanks again for the honest, fast, and friendly service. I came in with a flat from a nail, had heard from a big chain store that I needed all new tires asap and was glad to hear I could wait a little bit to get all new ones. You guys rock!

Rolled in just in time before they closed on a weekday with a flat tire. I was pretty bummed bc the Unilocal suggestion I had just tried didn’t have my tire, so I went to Leal’s the day after. I was the only person there, and they seconded the opinion that my tire was done (gash was too big to plug/​patch). So I asked the guy «you have anything used?» … and he said «yup, it’ll be $ 60 plus tax…» My ears perked up, eyes got big, and I tried to keep my poker face on as I told him to go ahead and do it… Tires for my truck are easily $ 120 for super cheap tires or $ 180+ for premium brands/​models, so I was pretty stoked at that price.
The guy that was grabbing the tires got the exact same model that was on my other tires, with more tread than I had on the others. The tire looks brand new, and apparently about 2 years younger than mine (btw, Pro Tip: google how to find out how old your tires are and what year it was made. It’s really easy and will let you know that the tire isn’t old enough to be a problem.)
Since I was the only customer the whole process took about 15 minutes, and I was out with plenty of money to spare. Will go back if necessary.

I’ve been going to Leal’s for over 8 years now. I don’t refer any other place for used tires. I bought a new car about two years ago so its been a wile since I’ve personally bough from there, but I’m always referring Leal’s to friends and family. Actually, I’m on my there now to help my roommate get her tire replace. You cant beat the cost and if you find cheaper they will match. Last time it was only $ 30 for a 185/​65R15 with great tread. $ 30!!! They take off the spare, remove old tire, put on new-​ish tire, balance and check for leaks, mound back on AND then put the spar back in the trunk. Service is always fast and great!

A lesson learned at Leal’s recently. Whenever you buy a used tire always check the date on the sidewall. If it is over six years old be very cautious as there is a chance for tread separation as in the Ford Explorer/​Firestone debacle that took an estimated 250 lives. There will be a four digit code at the end of the line beginning with «DOT,» the first two are the week and the last two the year of production. I was sold a tire with «1801» as the date code meaning it was a 15 year old tire! Needless to say after I saw that I went to Discount tire and got something from this decade, for not much more than Leal’s $ 70 used Continental.
Yes it is cute that they recycle by taking other people’s discards, but you have to consider why were they considered trash in the first place?
