Let It Go Already!

These ladies are amazing. First they are amazing people that you will trust leaving in your house or around your kids. Second, they are amazing in their ability to transform your house and de-​clutter your life. They came in to help us get our house ready to list — everything from losing the clutter, to organizing bookshelves, to re-​configuring storage spaces and restructuring the kids’ rooms to make things easier to keep clean and organized. I never could have done what they seem to have magically done in 2 days. And I am so grateful to them for their hard work and sweet nature. I am sure I will be a happy lifelong customer.

Yvonne and her team are miracle workers. A month after moving in, we were still surrounded by chaos and boxes. But in 8 hours, Yvonne managed to do more than we had in a month. It’s not cheap — and it probably would have taken another shift to finish completely. But what’s left is manageable instead of overwhelming. They organized everything we had already unpacked so the house is logical and attractive. And they tackled a bunch of the boxes we hadn’t gotten to. Worth every penny. I would never move without professional help again. As a bonus, Yvonne is just a sweetheart and a delight to work with. I have no qualms about the fact that she now knows all our secrets!

All I can say is if you are expecting something specific, do yourself a favor and put it in writing and then review what is written with the people working on your house in person. I had discussed my expectations in person and then again via email but I didnt have a follow up to make sure we were all on the same page. Otherwise what you get is what you get and you are stuck with it. Trust me. Also, the project came in way over budget, 30%+ over budget I think.
Either way, I would not use them again or recommend to a friend. A bummer really because we spent so much on the service.

Yvonne, Kirsten and Sigi are miracle workers. They came to my rescue the day after the movers deposited 19K pounds of what was described as household goods into our new place. Boxes were piled high and wide with paths through the chaos that led to empty cabinets, closets and pantries.
The trio went to work quickly and created a perfectly organized, functioning kitchen with everything in a logical place. Like a scene from Cinderella, a teenager’s boxed and piled stack of clothing was transformed into an inviting collection hung thoughtfully and creatively in a closet. Linens were distributed among multiple bathrooms and closets, all beautifully folded and arranged as if prepared for shooting a photo spread. Vast collections of vitamins, shampoos, lotions and various bath minutiae soon were organized, dispatched to the right place and arranged for easy access. And the empty boxes and paper were flattened and stored out of sight.
By the end of the day, I could locate everything that we needed and the house looked totally different — it had been transformed into a home by the three wizards of Let It Go Already. And if the results weren’t enough, the process was made enjoyable by the enthusiasm, positive energy, humor and overall friendliness of each of the sisters. I can’t remember when I have been so happy with a service!

I called Yvonne and Sigi to help organize a storage shed and guest room in anticipation of a family visit. They did a fantastic job, did it on time and with enthusiasm. I highly recommend the services of Let It Go Already! and plan to call them back again should I need any more help getting things organized.

Yvonne Goerndt, the owner of this biz is a genius! She sometimes works with her genius sister, Sigi! Their family has a mutated gene that most of the world does not possess. It’s the gene that makes order out of chaos!
I use Yvonne as a bookkeeper as well as an organizer. I am a mess without her. Since I am a Realtor (READ: Self employed!) i always have a mess of receipts. She keeps my files. And she does my quick books!
But, the best part is, she is also a professional organizer and STAGER. And I hire her as a closing gift for clients when they move.
