On a tip from the thoughtful Leslie H., I found out that this store is closing. She had suggested that they are have a clearance sale and that I should go check it out. Unfortunately, most of the maternity items were picked over by the time I got there.
It’s always sad when stores have to close. The owners seemed pretty upset about it I (understandably). They did still have other merchandise for kids still available.
It’s that’s what you’re in the market for, it might be worth your while to go check it out and see if you can get up to 70% off.

My mother in law warned me away from this place, but couldn’t remember why until I had a bad experience — Very irritating price tags! The TL: DR version is that the full price tags are red, but the red is very similar to the dark orange on the signs that say 50% off. The white tags don’t indicate full price, as I thought, just that the piece is owned by the store, not a consigner, if that’s the right word. I feel this is done deliberately to exploit people who can’t quite tell the difference between red and orange, or just cause general confusion. The red on the sign is much darker than the orange on the tags, and there is no mention of a red tag. Also, red tags are not listed as being full price, they are just not mentioned at all. If the intention was to be clear, they would just put the correct price on the tag, not a price that you then «discount» based on the color of the tag.
In general, I liked what i got, but paid more than i would have normally because of the confusing pricing.

Nothing really wrong with the store, they just didn’t have all that great of a selection. The prices were fair and it looked like they have clearance sales from time to time, but the quality of stuff overall is not nearly as good as the other two store in town– they had some high quality clothes, but also had some very worn clothes as well. That combine with the limited selection, will probably keep me from visiting here again– unless I’m looking for something specific and can’t find it at the other consignment stores in town.

The best feature of this store is that great bargains can be found here. The price tags are color coded and every day different colors are discounted. Some items are 30, 40 and 50% off the marked price. As far as I am concerned, if I like it for $ 10, I like it a lot more for only $ 5.
Lil’ Ones also carries maternity clothes, toys, and furniture.
I am a bit concerned though as this store has recently changed owners. I believe it has had three owners since I have been shopping there. I am not sure if the new owner will change anything. However, when I commented on the lack of boy’s clothes she offered to have me leave my name and number so she could call me when she had some. That was really nice.
