Lydian Flash

I originally went to Lydian for a Shellac manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure was outstanding with perfectly shaped nails and applied polish which lasted well over a month! The Shellac manicure had my nails looking their best and lasted over 2 weeks. Lydian is extremely professional and knowledgeable. Her salon is impeccably clean and she takes the utmost care in sterilizing (Autoclave) and sanitizing everything! I’m very picky about this issue and it’s rare to find a nail salon that sterilizes their tools for each client, takes the time to bleach the pedicure area, etc.
I’ve now started IBX treatments because the nails on my hands are thin, weak, have ridges and peel. It’s been a week since my first treatment, and I definitely see and feel improvements in strength, smoothness of ridges on the nail bed and nail edge, and not once have they peeled or broken. They’re the prettiest my own natural nails have ever looked and I’m not embarrassed to have them seen! I highly recommend this treatment.
Lydian is sweet and truly cares about her clients’ health and well being.

So I have been going to Lydian for a few years now, so I thought that I should update my review!
I only got acrylics with her once (back in ’10) — which is the last time that I had acrylics because I’ve moved onto something better– Gel Manicures!
I mostly get Shellac, but Lydian has other brands too (Gelish, OPI, and others. don’t remember specifics, though). They last the usual 2 weeks, and I usually get about 3 weeks before they start to chip. At which point, they get so grown out, that you want to update them, even if they last that long ;)
Pedicures with Lydian are also awesome. She REALLY knows how to take care of your nails –cutting and shaping them perfectly. I sometimes have trouble with my big toe nails curling inwards, and she does a great job of keeping them in check. My pedicures last forever I also love how she takes her time to make sure everything is perfect.
I love going to Lydian, and I look forward to keep going to her for years to come!

I have been getting my nails done since high school and have been to a lot of different salons. Lydian is by far the best nail tech I have been to. I always walk away satisfied with what I get. She is such a wonderful and lovely lady who cares so much about her clients. She has educated me so well on my nails along with giving me such beautiful shellac/​gel manicures. She makes sure to have all of her tools sanitized, she even goes above and beyond with the autoclave. Her prices aren’t the cheapest but I promise you once you go to her you will never want to go anywhere else! If you want to have beautiful healthy nails then Lydian is the nail tech for you.

Lydian is awesome, she loves her work and it shows, she is all about Clean and that is important in a Nail Salon, Thank you for being such a Great Nail Tech… The Best…

Dreadfully, I am a procrastinator, but I have been meaning to type this review for some time…
I did some searching online for a place to get my nails done, and after much searching, I decided to try Lydian. I guess it was destiny, because she is the nicest nail person I have EVER been to! She was very gentle and caring, while explaining many things about nails to me that I was previously unaware of. She is very knowledgeable about what she does, and it shows! She is by appointment only, and that is excellent to me, because you are treated like an individual and not herded through like cattle. I was never uncomfortable the whole time, and could relax. She not only did an excellent job, but was wonderful to talk to as well. The price range is not cheap, so if that is what you are looking for, Lydian is not the one for you. However, if you are looking for a quality, sterile, safe, and relaxing place to go and get your nails done; this is the place! I will definitely be going back! :-D
