Macy’s

This store is trashy. The fitting rooms are filthy– i didn’t even want to remove my shoes for fear of catching something. They don’t manage inventory– clothing is crammed on racks, apparently never organized by the apathetic associates and several seasons are all mingled together. It’s A TERRIBLE experience to shop there.

The best sales ever. Nice friendly service always. My daughters and mother have so much fun when we are here. I recommend to everyone.

Thank god I gave this Macys a chance after a disappointing experience at the Macys Lakeline.
The wedding registry department was extremely helpful, walked us through all the coupons, benefits tons of free magazines, told us about upcoming events for registered couples etc! (none of which was done at lakeline mall)
I was walked the entire floor and told where items I may most want to register for were located and the advice of the consultant of products and brands as well.

This review is for the perfume and cologne section of Macy’s. Besides getting bombarded by the associates thirsty for a sale shoving all kinds of scents at you, they are rude if you don’t like what they recommend.
My fiancé turned down some nasty smelling cologne from a lady with two toned colored hair, and she made a sny remark under her breath. Oh and by the way I hate when they tell you to smell coffee beans, FYI that’s a myth. Google it.
So if you are looking to get a cologne and happen to be shopping at Macy’s in the Domain, beware of the sharks. Lol ;)

I have had nothing but a great experience with Julie from the bridal registry department. She is so incredibly helpful and truly cares about the couples happiness. I strongly recommend making an appointment with her if your are starting a registry or even if you are at the end of your event. I’m so happy and wish Julie that absolute best! Thank you!

I had to return a few things to Macy’s, some I ordered on line and one thing I had bought in the store. There was no harassment, no problems. I was serviced fast and everything handled within a couple of minutes. I was able to do more shopping and spent far more than I refunded. Macy’s is probably my most favorite department store. They run great sales, have lots of designer clothes and accessories and I always find things I love there for a great price.

We did our wedding registry at Macy’s and it was a huge waste of time, in addition to continuing to be a pain 2 months after our wedding.
— There was no one at the store to help me when I went in to start my registry (apparently there is 1 person trained to help people with their registries and she was on vacation)
— Once someone did help me (figuring it out as they go), the machines weren’t working
— I got an email that I can receive 20% off of anything on my registry, but the promo code listed is the wrong promo code so I can’t make my online purchases (currently waiting on the phone with them to get the right code– 20 minute wait time).
The last thing I want it to give Macy’s thousands of dollars of business, especially with their sloppy customer service. Additionally, its unfortunate that I registered at The Domain– they got credit for getting a new wedding registry customer and it was wholly undeserved.
If you’re going to register at Macy’s, make sure you go to a GOOD one. One where the registry expert cares to help you and make it a good experience for you. They get at least a couple thousand dollars of sales from a wedding registry, and the least you can get is some decent customer service.

I go to Macys for the nice selection of Calvin Klein clothes. If you time it right, you get them for 50−60% off the high ticket prices. Otherwise, I haven’t found much in recent years just wandering the aisles. It’s a bit of a nuisance shopping here due to the constant sales and discount coupons that you need to keep track of. They had no lightweight mens cargo pants, which was disappointing.

Large variety of clothing and products some high end and some everyday things! We shopped in the junior section and the swim section which both had a lot of options for all different taste. But like all Macy’s the employees aren’t very helpful and they often cannot help you find the products that go with the coupons which is always frustrating. But we constantly shop to this Macy’s so I guess I cannot whine too much

I love shopping at the domain. Men’s department always has deals on Calvin Klein! Great suit selection, cologne, sunglasses and shoes. Shop till you drop! Parking is a pain but some need to walk. My girlfriend love’s to shoe shop and buy purses. Come spend your money!

I went to Macy’s hoping to find cute summer outfits for an upcoming vacation. The one time an employee actually spoke to me was when she condescendingly told me that I needed to hang up my clothes and bring them back out whenever I was finished trying them on. She told me I needed to do this so that the fitting rooms would stay clean. As if I made all the rooms messy? The only other interaction I had with an associate was when I was walking through the womenswear and she almost collided into me and shot me a look of disgust like I didn’t deserve to be in her presence let alone share the air with her. I was looking to spend a pretty penny here but was too disturbed by the disrespectful and unpleasant associates to stick around long. No amount of savings or good deals would make me ever want to shop at this Macy’s! Hire decent people that know how to interact with others and provide a shred of customer service!!!

Very disappointed. I went December 26^th to buy a Michael Kors watch and the woman behind the counter was extremely rude. I asked her what the watch was made of she replied, «metal…» I asked, «what kind of metal?» She replied, «nickel» I told her I was allergic and she stated that this was not the watch for me then. 1. She was rude (you work in the customer service industry get it together) 2. Her information was false, the watch is stainless steel 3. I got myself a Michael Kors watch from Dillard’s. This store has lost my business. You may want to hire employees with better customer service skills.

Very disappointed. Advertised is a sale on Christmas décor at 6 am the day after. However the store does not sell Christmas décor. What is happening with Macy’s?

Its one of my favorite stores here in austin especially i was lucky the location really close from my new apartent.

Macy’s is just not my favorite place to shop. For sure they’ve got the brands I love, and the prices are in line with what I am willing to spend. But without fail, every location I go to is messy, crowded, and full of salespeople who seem overworked, understaffed, and exhausted. I honestly wonder what their turnover must be. In particular, the Macy’s at the Domain is the most stressful to shop in. I feel like there are three employees to this huge store and two of them are in shoes. I will hit up Dillard’s almost every time instead.

This review will focus on the Menswear suit section. I came here for a Blazer with my size in hand so I didn’t even need measurements. I just needed some guidance on the color I was looking for. I asked the department manager for help and she pointed at a cashier that a line and told me she would be with me. during the 40 minute wait I had for her I figured out everything on my own to the best of my ability. The cashier never came my way. To be fair she was the only one able to help. another employee was folding close. In desperation I sought someone from another department who was able to help as best as he could, but I had to come back to the original salesperson. I got my blazer, but I will look elsewhere and return it ASAP, the service was terrible and there was no silver lining on the price I paid. Something that should have taken me 30 minutes back with time appropriated for a line took me an hour!!!

I went in looking for a summer weight blazer, and was shown a black wool jacket. I pointed out it was for an outdoor wedding in August, then the salesman’s cell phone rang, and he answered it! Unacceptable.
I went to Nordstrom Rack instead and found a gorgeous kroon jacket for ¹⁄₃ of the Macy’s price. I don’t go to Macy’s anymore.

Nothing too crazy here just a regular Macy’s.
We had bought something online and it didn’t fit so we brought it into the store to return.
Has great sales when clothes and everything else goes on sale but that’s just Macy’s in general.
The refund was very easy all we did was bring the item back and had the receipt and they gave it back to is no questions asked.
Only drawback is you have to go the individual department that the item is from to get the refund but whatever that’s not a huge deal.
Good prices on everything in general clean store good hours in a nice location.
Nothing to brag about but nothing really to complain about either. It’s Macy’s what else do you really want to say about it.

Gotta love Macys!
A little pricey but this is my «go to» for some jazzy gear for a special event or a good ol GNO!
I can always find a nice button up for the hubby and a hip shirt for the teen!
One stop shop!
The home goods section isn’t my cup of tea. I would rather go to Kohls or Ross and get the same things for a fraction of the cost!

I was very pleased with my experience at Macy’s.
My sister ordered me a North Face jacket online, and after receiving it in the mail I wanted to exchange it for another style. When I arrived to Macy’s at the domain, I asked a girl named Ashley that worked in the dresse’s dept if the store had North Face jackets to look at. She stated they did not but showed me online where I could find them. Once she helped me find a style I liked, she looked online to see if her store or any near by had any returns of that style. She even went out of her way to call Mayc’s at Barton creek which showed they had one to ask them to hold it for me (which they did not end up having one). In the end, she helped me exchange the jacket for one I liked online and was very patient and attentive with helping me make the right purchase. Very pleased!
