An update after a couple of years of takeout experience with Mangieri’s. The pizza is good. Consistently good. The restaurant is still very busy but the take-out service is consistently ready at the promised time and the pizza is delicious. Sadly, the Brick Oven on Slaughter is now closed, so the options for dining in on weekend evenings are more limited on this side of town.

My favorite pizza in Austin. The only place we order from. Love the thin crust. Speedy delivery as well

Pizza had very little flavor, but the customer service was great. I could eat their food again, but would consider other options first.

From looking at the choices via the website, to giving my order over the phone to a very nice person, to receiving the pizza as ordered and speedy, to the nicely cut squares, and then chowing down, I was SUPERPLEASED! Número uno in the hood for pizza!

Well bonus for looking like pizza. And they deliver. That’s my 2 stars! So it was hot. Yay! And it was circle like a pizza. Double yay. And that’s all I have positive to say about this highly ranked place.(Are my taste buds out of whack?!!) The entire thing was chewy. Like I was eating a rubber tire. Garlic overwhelmed the lack of other flavors, and the crust was slightly burnt. I can’t classify this as NY style, Chicago style or Italian. It’s just underwhelming. I was expecting more wow for almost 4 stars. Maybe in house is the wow? I’d rather eat Pizza Hut, which is kinda sad cause I don’t overly love them. I hope this beast digests. Ugh.

Yummy. Let’s just start with yummy. We just returned from a dinner for six over the holidays, and it was fantastic! We’d ordered delivery pizza before for a group gathering, and it was great, so we figured we’d dine out with family in town at Mangieri’s. We were certainly not disappointed. The bruschetta and atrichoke dip appetizers were warm, zesty and wonderful. We tried a few IPA’s, a cocktail and a nice Cab — awesome. We had a few pizzas, alfredo and a hot sandwich for entrees — superb. We split 3 deserts — impeccable. Service — friendly, attentive, but gave us room to breathe. We have found our pizza/pasta/delicious desert perma-joint. Mangieri’s is my family’s official good ol’ standard now. Yummy. We can finsh with that — yummy.

Modern cozy place! Not a whole lot of seating. Came in a Tuesday evening and we only waited about 10 minutes m. Blaze was our waitress and she was great! We had a large meat pizza. Great thin crust and it’s made fresh so expect to wait about 15 minutes for your food. The artichoke in tomato cream pasta was delicious! Good selection of beers and wines.

Terrible pizza. This is the second or third time we tried this place and were disappointed as usual.

We’ve come here several time and always have a great experience! We normally are seated in a timely manner and everyone is very courteous to our dog. The pizza is yummy. We find it to be a relaxing date night.

We went here for Father’s Day, and it was fantastic. I was in the mood for pasta, so we didn’t get to try the pizza, but everything we had was absolutely delicious. The bruschetta was very unusual with the amount of cheese and delectable. The tomato-cream sauce I had on my pasta made my toes curl. Service was impeccable, and the ambiance was classy without being snooty. The really nice touch we liked was that the television screen at the bar was obscured from view in the dining area. My wife and I both absolutely hate how distracting TV screens can be at many restaurants these days, and the last time we were at a restaurant and told our 4-year-old not to look at it, it was so heartbreaking to see the amount of effort he would make to tear himself away from the screen. We wish Unilocal would have a feature where we can look for restaurants WITHOUT TVs. Anyway, great food and top notch service. We will surely be back.

We live around the corner and finally popped in the other day. The inside is well appointed and intimate. It has a nice patio for being in a ‘strip center’. We ordered a bottle of the ‘house’ Cabernet and it was delish. The pizza ordered was the ‘Hot Pig’ and it was actually amazing. We were surprised! The kids ate a cheese pizza and chicken fingers and fries. Reasonably priced at $ 2.99 each! It’s not Homeslice but it’s a great substitute when you don’t have the time to make it to Congress!

Mangieri’s is a great find in the Circle C area. The pizzas are super thin crust, you could eat a whole pizza to yourself because they are so tasty and light. The sauce is kind of sweet and I love it in the lasagna. The cheese bread is also amazing and is a must order when I go. They have groupons pretty often, it’s a good deal if you see it!

We were in the mood for a taste of Italy and ended up here(although it actually wasn’t the original choice of the night). Heather has a friend who constantly post pictures of this places’ food so we were excited to give it a go. They have outside seating, a restaurant area, and walled off bar area. A nice idea to have the best of all 3! We ordered a LG pizza and split the toppings, one half Veggie style the other half overloaded with me. I had the ‘hot’ flavored buffalo wings which were delicious! They are baked… so it took about 10 minutes before they were in front of us. The pizza came out a bit afterwards and it too was superb. Plenty of cheese, sauce is seasoned well, & toppings are plentiful. The pizza is on the greasier side… After the appetizer we were unable to finish it off. Overall, I felt the price was right for the quality and size of the meal. It’s a good spot to bring family or your date. Parking can be a bit of a pain because it’s surrounded by other popular venues.

Tried to use a 16.00 group on tonight for our dinner. Had 24 dollars in food purchased and 12 dollars in drinks on happy hour(1.00 off per drink). The manager added a 4.00 dollar group on surcharge for using groupon during happy hour hours even though none of the food was on happy hour and was paid at full price. I told server I needed food bill and liquor bill seperated for expense purposes which very quickly solved the 4.00 surcharge but in the mean time I will never return here. Magagement here is horrible and didn’t even bother to show up to the table to try and explain their arbitrary 4.00 surcharge. Regarding the food its nothing special at all. I had the Italian beef sandwich. They give you about a tablespoon of the pickled veggies and a cup of ojous. Pretty bland and fries were blah.

Dine in at the bar or carry out… The food is outstanding and consistent. Pizza, lasagna, and other pastas — your choice will be good! Service is always good as well. Circle C must! I have it on good authority that the gluten free pizza crust is the best in town — neighbors swear by it! I like the whole wheat when the lady of the house agrees to it, but she prefers the original. Bar is nice with good beverage options. M-W half price bottles and other happy hour specials.

Movin’ on up… So the update is for a star-bump. Because this place is the best in the Circle C area to take the family for pizza, grab a glass of wine, enjoy some great specials and a service staff that, literally, seems specifically trained to deal with professional parents who are taking their kids out to eat. They are patient, prompt, courteous and more than just put up with your kids, they even cater to them. Great service every time and, despite the crazy picky crazies… they do have really good pizza. Props specifically to Zac for our lovely dinner service tonight. Well done, Mangieri’s. Well done.
