McDonald’s

Hi, I’ve been in your drive thru line for 20 minutes, pinned in. What in Gods name is going on?! Y’all suck! NEVER EVER EVER going here again. I know, I should have not come here at all, but dude, I’m in a hurry and wanted something quick. NEVER AGAIN!

Ordered #10 Meal with orange juice. The color of OJ looked a bit light. When I tasted it, it tasted like «tang» (a.k.a. sugar water). It definitely doesn’t taste like an OJ, it was much too sweet. And don’t even try their «filter» water. Mcgriddle sandwich and hash brown were good though.

This is probably the worst Mc Donalds in all of Austin when it comes to drive thru! Seriously! The only reason I come here, is because it’s the only one close to my job.
It’s like the same story every single time you come to the drive thru. nobody can ever hear you take your order through the intercom. So you have to repeat yourself like 10 times. Then, when you finally do get to the window, they ask YOU, «umm what was your order?» Even if you’re the only one in the freaking drive thru!
It’s ridiculous! And if there is a long line, you might as well just keep on driving because you can probably make it to a McDonald’s 30 minutes away And back by the time you got served at this one!
One last thing, I am not racist or anything like that of course. But I do think that it is foolish on the part of the restaurants management to put people who speak hardly any English on a drive-​through for ordering. Especially at a McDonald’s. So yeah, good luck if you end up going to this McDonald’s because you’re always in for an adventure here.

I’ve been sitting in the drive thru line for 20 minutes come on! This is ridiculous. It’s busy but it’s always busy this time of night on the weekend. Prepare to be busy when you know you are busy. Then I get to the window and they are laughing and having a good old time. That’s great but you could have said sorry for the wait or something. The orders were being written down on a sheet of paper. I know the register system is working as I see you using it now.

Don’t come here in the morning unless you want to wait forever while all the incompetent staff just look at each other while doing nothing to help the customers

I only go there for coffee early in the morning. On more than one occasion the coffee machine has been broken. Get it together.

We tried the new Habenero Ranch Quarte pounder and the oh so delicious Beef Club and let me tell you… We’ve had a whole lot better! Both burgers were cold as the fries and really dry! I believe we will stick to our regular Mc D’s!

Meh, It’s McDonalds. I just got a coffee while I waited for someone.

I contemplated for a while (as I devoured my bagel breakfast from McD’s) if I was going to seriously Unilocal McDonalds, but I think this location deserves it.
I really dislike McDonald’s, generally speaking I usually take the healthier route for my food options, but this morning I was in the area and decided to stop in and have breakfast with my little guy. They were quick, friendly, and the food was fresh. That’s all this little mama could ask for!
While I was there, multiple members were cleaning the facility, they had warning signs for slippery floors, which honestly I rarely see. I saw milk poured all over a table and the seats, which a team member immediately cleaned up. Kudos to the McD’s crew.
This location recently (within a year or two) has had an overhaul. The inside has been completely redone to reflect a more upscale version of McDonald’s. My main complaint would be there is no longer a playscape in the building, which is a bummer for a parent with kids (granted this mama is a tad on the germaphobe side), regardless you don’t see many of those without a play area. They do have several tv’s located throughout with Nick Jr and the news on, which is a huge plus!
It’s a great stop for breakfast and their chillers, but for burgers/​chicken skip it.
On a scale of 1 – 5 for food it’s a 3, but with the atmosphere and staff it garners 4 stars in my book.

Its a McDonalds, the bacon egg and cheese biscuit tastes like every other one. I went thru drive-​thru, was in far right lane, and had to Gran turismo (race car video game) my way into the pay line. Why on earth would you have 2 drive thru lines that would have to converge into one paying line? I wonder how many people have gotten hit here because of that? Kinda, in the words of Carlos Menica, DEE DEE DEEEEE.

Okay McDonalds, the ONLY… and I mean ONLY reason I come here is the proximity to my casa and you satisfy my addiction to Diet Coke by charging me one dollar. Why does your Diet Coke taste different that anyone else’s? Hmmm? You put crack in it don’t you?
The drive through peeps are in such a dang hurry, «is that all? Is that all? IS THAT ALL?» after every dang word that comes out of my mouth. I will tell you when that’s all. Sheesh.
I will say the inside is nice since they remodeled… and the people inside are friendly.
I will be back… because I’m addicted to McDonalds Diet Coke.

To KS# 14 who at 7:57 this morning «Yeah, yeah, yeah“ed me on through, you got my order (#63) wrong. SHOCKER.
Wonder how many other people’s orders you got wrong too.
Perhaps don’t say «Is that all?» OVER the person ordering.
Just a thought.

5 Stars — Yes, I do know it’s a fast food joint and YES, I realize it’s McDONALD’S, no less. BUT — if we are choosing to eat at, and review, a fast food burger joint, we need to rate it 1 – 5 on the fast food scale, not comparing it to a sit down dinner restaurant.
So, in short, 5 Stars to this location for the redesign, the presentation of the food, and my favorite — the AWESOME drive through girl who anticipates my daily arrival for my Large Vanilla Iced Coffee, which I believe she makes with Love. She is happy and friendly and reminds me of the commercial actresses you always wished would greet you (hanging out the window with a huge smile). Kudos to the manager for having the ability to hire energetic and reliable staff.

McDs did a great job upgrading this location with comfy stools and an homage to SRV! Sweet! Stop by on the way to the airport.

Before the new look it was awesome.
Now with two drive up orders and 1 window to pay ITS A MESS. (design flaw) Dont use the outside drive up unless you want to pay for another person meal.
After you order and pay make sure that your payn for your order or you might get someone elses.

As I’ve mentioned, I don’t usually review fast food places unless they’re extremely good or extremely bad.
This one is bad.
I’ve been here numerous times because I work just up the street. That is the ONLY reason I go back, since I only have 40 minutes for lunch.
I love McDonalds. I’ve been to hundreds of them. This one is truly, quite possibly the worst that i’ve been in.
The layout is ridiculous. The tables are crammed in close to each other, and the drink machines are in the main walkway, so if anyone is getting a drink, you can’t get past.
The bathroom is dirty and gross.
They don’t have any ketchup ‘out’. No pumps, and no packets. If you want ketchup, you have to ask them for it. That’s totally obnoxious, especially at lunch time when it’s busy.
If you get a cup of water, they give you a sundae cup. I’ve never seen that happen before.
The workers are friendly enough, but this place needs a total overhaul.

Well, they finally did get an overhaul. Driving past the other day, from the outside it looked like the place had been totally remodeled. I didn’t go in, and don’t work nearby anymore. So I can’t attest if it’s actually any different. But there’s a chance it’s better since they have definitely done some remodeling.
