Dr. Pyron is not only very competent in her field but is also one of the most compassionate doctors I have met and her office staff reflects that important quality. I have been seeing her for over 2 years now and my husband is also a patient there. We both feel very good about their services and have had much success with our individual injuries. Although we did not mind driving a distance to her north office, we are delighted to have her closer into town.

It’s nice to see doctors and physical therapists who understand weightlifting and can make specific recommendations. I’ve included an additional exercise in my routine as a result, which has really helped. It was also very convenient to be able to get X-​rays and an injection for a tendon issue on the same visit as my exam.

As a member of Austin Blacks rugby I can say Amy Nester’s services at our Rugby field are beyond spectacular. She provides excellent pregame wrapping and muscle prep. During matches she is diligent in looking out for the players’ welfare when injured. She also follows up with injured players after match.

So I really want to delete one star since Dr. Pyron closed her North location and her new office is too far away for me to visit without taking several hours out of my day.
She is the best sports medicine doctor I have ever had the opportunity to visit and her PTs are skilled, helpful & enthusiastic. I saw her office for two chronic issues and I am now over both of them. I travel frequently and her staff taught me techniques to maintain my improved condition on the road.
Besides her relocation (which I understand was due in part to a building renovation) — the only thing that could improve was that the billing department didn’t seem to be on the same page as my insurance. It didn’t end up costing me more — it just seemed to go less smoothly than most of my other health care providers.

Medicine in Motion has been an Austin staple in the sports medicine field for five years, but their original location is north, so when I heard they were opening a second central location, I was beyond excited! Everything is still the same level of quality (which is beyond five stars) as before but with much more convenience for me since I live in south Austin. Very happy to welcome Dr. Pyron and staff to the neighborhood!
