Sharon Guebert, the physical therapist that specializes in hand therapy at this office is amazing! I am so appreciative of her expertise and approach. She has been doing this work for 29 years and you can tell she still loves it. She has clearly put in her«10,000 hours». She is 100% engaged with each client even though she has a very busy practice. She has a keen understanding and sympathy for what the pain feels like from the patient’s perspective and does a masterful job balancing between encouraging you and challenging you just beyond your comfort level to help you improve. She offers creative exercises and ideas of how to continue your exercises outside the therapy office. She is empathetic and good humored. I would recommend her 100%!

I just recently had a 2ACL reconstructive surgery. I am a professional ballet dancer. I go to Vanessa and she is absolutely amazing!!! Facilities aren’t the best I’ve ever seen, but they have what I need. The desk girls are friendly and efficient. I am enjoying my rehab here.

a little background so you know that i know what im talking about here — in 2001 i was pro racing in grand am cup. i hit a wall head-on at 110 mph at watkins glen. dislocated pelvis, shoulder, broken ribs, concussion, whiplash. ive been re-habbing one way or another since then so i know who’s good and what things cost. jason at Select is very very good. the girl that worked on me, not so good, but she isnt there anymore. anyway, the billing is what knocks the ratings down for me. i would go in there for about an hour, sometime a little longer. i would ride the stationary bike and do exercises on a bench. sometimes they would work on me hands on but only for a few minutes. my insurance company was charged anywhere between $ 200-$ 314 for that hour! of that i have to pay 30%. so for 6 visits my co-pay is $ 577! one of the best rehab places ive been to is in dallas(whole health partners — dr. francis murphy) and they charge the insurance company $ 150/hr. and they have doctors working on you the whole time and have sophisticated equipment, not a bicycle and a bench! so the bottom line is that Select Physical Therapy is a rip-off bc they way overcharge and they are part of the reason that yours and my health care costs so much
