I’ve been here a few times and they have a few dishes that are consistently great. I love their phở tai, beef fried rice, as well as the Bulgogi Beef.

Love the food and the portions are GREAT!(As in huge) I had the combo phở noodle soup and my boyfriend had the yakisoba plate. Both are amazing. We split an order of crab Rangoon(with crab meat in it yay!) and an order of something off the sushi menu called an avocado boat, both also AMAZING. came in about 2:15 — 3:00 not a lot of people here but a couple of regulars. It’s a really great place to just relax and eat.

Quality food and service! The restaurant was clean and even the table bases had recently been wiped down. My husband and I dropped in for lunch today and we shared a sampling of several dishes. The unagi was a generous portion and well presented– the abundant sauce was a little more than the dish needed, but I think most people like a lot of sauce. We also had the seaweed salad with crab, which was very tasty. My husband’s General Tso had no spicy heat at all(which I liked) but he was a little disappointed in the serving size. The chicken itself was very tender, and not over cooked and tough like so many Asian restaurants serve. It was also full of nice pieces, not just fatty or stringy pieces that are unidentifiable. I thought this was a very satisfying and flavorful Tso. I also ordered the California roll, which I suppose is pretty standard, but it was nice and moist. For such a simple roll, it was refreshing and well made. The manager/owner was very kind and had a presence in the restaurant, and checked in on customers. Thanks, we had a very nice lunch and will return!

DONOTGIVETHISRESTAURANTYOURBUSINESS! On Aug. 6th, 2015 I decided to give this a place a try. The cashier was polite and took my order. I filled my cup with unsweet ice tea and noticed immediately it tasted funny(you know that sour taste and smell from either old tea and/or a very dirty tea container that has not been cleaned recently.) When I asked the cashier for my money back(for the tea) he politely returned it and then the manager on duty(short slim Asian with full head of hair) got up off his dining table seat and walked over to me asking what the problem was. I told him about the tea and he immediately became very defensive and rude to me saying the tea was made that morning. I then in a louder voice told him«Then your tea container is dirty and needs cleaning». He then verbatim publicly called me an «Asshole» and in front of several other customers and staff in the restaurant. He then told the cashier I cannot eat there and threw me out only partially refunding my money. I told him I never met someone like you an owner or owner’s rep. saying curse words on a customer. He retorted back saying he had never experienced someone as rude as me. Well owner you initiated the rudeness so I have every right to return it back to you. Plus I was going to walk out anyways. You the one(really) that is so rude. Now I have told ten people who will each tell ten more and on and on and on… I’m actually a very nice customer but if you get rude to me all the kindness and courtesy off the table. I am also posting this on Angie’s List and reporting them to the Better Business Bureau and the Travis County Health Dept. If should retain an Attorney for public defamation and slander against Mimi’s Asian Fusion. There are several witnesses.

Nothing bad just no compelling draw. Vermicelli bowl was okay, a little meh. Service was a little mixed with an initial burst of energy and engagement and then sort of missing a pretty obvious request. They have some mix of waitress and self-serve that I didn’t quite know what to do with.

When this place first opened every dish I ordered was great. The owner/manager is super friendly and seems to really care about what his customers think. This was maybe a year ago(my first visit). They deliver too if you live nearby. The wait has been minimal and the delivery drivers friendly. Lately however the quality of their meat has gone down(poor even). The texture of their beef was odd. I hate to say it but after my last experience I’d be hesitant to try a beef dish there again. Their noodle dishes are so so(not the best Singapore Rice Noodles I’ve ever had) but they have some really good soups. The atmosphere is pleasant if you eat in the restaurant. I’d still recommend this place but not every dish these days is a winner.

We decided to order from here based on a suggestion on the eat24 app and a coupon code. We were first told 45 – 75 minutes. The food arrived hot in about half an hour. So points for pretty fast delivery on a Friday night. Delivery guy was nice. We opened our order to discover some fried rice missing. I called and the guy apologized and the rice arrived promptly. The food was overall good. I wouldn’t order the pad Thai again. It wasn’t like normal pad Thai at other places. My boyfriend really enjoyed the General Tso chicken. Egg drop soup was nothing special. Four stars was mostly for the great customer service! Would we try it again? Just leave out the pad Thai and try something else. Its right down the road from us and reasonably priced so we’d probably order from here again.

We love Mimi’s! Despite of being self-service restaurant, the stuff is very attentive. They always check on us after delivering food to ensure we have everything we need. Phở, bulgogi and eggrolls

It’s ok for a last minute choice for Asian at Slaughter and East of I-35. If I lived on the West side of I-35 there are better choices.

Food is not bad. One time they messed up my order and delivery took a while, but the owner is really friendly and gave me a discount for the mistake.

This place has good quality and tasty food(steak phở and pork egg rolls are all we get). It is a small selection but is a staple dish to determine quality Vietnamese food. The quality is great with large delivery area and always on the shorter side of the delivery window… however, in my mind phở should come with chile sauce, Sriracha and plum sauce. I always ask for an extra chili and sriracha. so 2 chili, 2 Sriracha and 1 plum for large phở. I’m willing to pay extra if needed but that is never asked they just say«ok». For the last 4⁄5 times they have messed up this simple mathematical order. My last order only included 1 plum and 1 sriracha, no chili paste. Either they are being spiteful or not making notes ln the order/account. Good food but sloppy/lazy/inaccurate order assembly for delivery. Please step it up and you would easily be 5 stars

Delivery via Grub Hub has surcharge of $ 4 – 13. I’m at Wm Cannon and Mopac so it was $ 13. No drinks available for delivery unless you order kids meal.

We were REALLY in the mood for good Asian food and wanted to try something new. Mimi’s Asian Fusion didn’t disappoint, but also didn’t blow us away. I found a random coupon on Google for this place and using it was a bit of a pain but it worked out in the end. I had to show them my phone with the code and I had to be ‘logged in’ {foodandmenu dot com}. They have wine available and a clean dining area. I’ll admit, prior to this experience I was an idiot when it came to differentiating springs rolls, egg rolls and such. I ordered the Vietnamese springs rolls expecting something fried like an egg roll. A spring roll is nothing like a fried egg roll, but luckily I wasn’t too appalled with it after the first bite. Heather liked them more than I did. My main course was the stir fried vermicelli. The serving size was ridiculous and I could barely move after I was done NOT eating it all. Heather had pad thai and again her serving size was enough to feed a small family. Both dishes were tasty, the ambiance is quiet, the woman who served us was polite and parking was plentiful.

Excellent food, great service, good prices, fast and consistently good takeout. I have tried the sushi, soups, phở, sesame chicken, spring rolls, and it’s all good. Smoothies are good, too! I’ve been all over the south side looking for a good asian restaurant. With the good food and fast service, I’ll keep coming back here!

Have you ever had noodles that were refrigerated and then reheated? Well that’s exactly what the honk kong noodles taste like. They were completely mushy and not edible at all. The pad Thai tasted nothing like pad Thai and my wife and I ended up splitting it even though the shrimp were rubbery and chewy. I do appreciate the manager calling me back but an offer of 10% off my next order just won’t do as I’m not wasting my money again. Stay away

Their wonton soup tastes different than most(and not in a good way). Their California roll was super plain/dry(positive it was missing avocado). And their orange peel chicken tasted of ginger(not spicy in the slightest, as advertised). Bottom line: food is plain and bad. Their lemonade and fortune cookie was decent enough though.

One word: presentation. These guys get it. Every entrée we ordered was beautifully presented, which portions that would please even the hungriest of dudes. My teardrop roll actually made me wince a little – raw jalapenos and ample amounts of wasabi will do that! It was sweet, delicious pain. My friend’s vermicelli bowl was enormous. The beef I tried a bite of was a little tough, but the rest of it looked amazing. The dumplings were perfectly cooked – not too soft and floppy, but not hard anywhere, either. Just soft little blobs of happiness. There’s a whole little bar of extra toppings and sauces, plus wontons and sweet and sour sauce that you can bring to the table like it’s a basket of chips and salsa. The orange sauce on the toppings bar is awesome. Chili sauce, fish sauce and Sriracha are available on every table, as if they knew I was coming or something. The only thing I can really ding Mimi’s on was… this is a Korean BBQ place? I couldn’t hardly find any Korean BBQ on the menu. Fusion, yes. That part is right on the money. They’ve got a little bit of everything from Japanese to Thai on the menu, all appropriately Texan’d down for mass consumption. But I didn’t see the BBQ. Perhaps it’s time to drop the subtitle.

Portion size is ridiculous, half of a spring roll is more than enough to fill you up here. I’d stay away from these spring rolls its just too much food. The coconut curry dish and the spicy teardrop sushi roll were very tasty. Coconut curry is good everywhere though just fyi
